Hi everyone !
Are there any Amlogic SoCs (newer maybe?) That don't have a stuttering / deinterlacing problem?
What applications, ROMs, Firmware .... are you using to correct this problem? (example: Tivimate)
Android 9-based ROMs shouldn't have this problem.
Android 7 do have it.

Hey!
There are many Intel z2580 android devices out there without proper Kikat updates. Sure they may be lesser known but some have a larger following.
Few manufacturers have made the effort to provide kitkat updates for this modern chipset. I'd say there is a significant interest to at least try to create some generic port of the few kitkat firmwares that are available. This could be the whats needed to get the ball rolling.
What are your thoughts? (Check out the post below for a few details.)
Thank you for reading.

There is an androidx86 project that has already released a 4.4 KitKat android for x86 devices (netbooks etc.) Could something like that be used in Ramos i8, i9 or similar Intel processor devices somehow? I suppose the install process is the hardest part...
Here is the link to the project:

The Dell Venue 3830 tablet (8 and 7 inch-3730) is to my knowledge the only z2580 based android tablet that has an official kitkat release.
Since there are so many different z2580 devices out there without updates newer than 4.2.2 it would be a great project for many people (including me) to see if that Dell rom can be ported and optimized for other z2580 devices.
My major issue is ram on my 1GB z2580 tablet (only ~200mb free after clean reboot). A kitkat update would in many ways solve that issue and make the tablet a solid useable device. (No my kernel does not support swap.) The cpu is quite fast and a shame to waste.
Edit: Asus Zenfone 5 and 6 are both Intel z2580 devices with official kitkat updates, (and cyanogenmod seems to be supported, surprisingly). Their roms could be useful for the z2580 community. Possibly moreso than the Dell Venue since reports show the kitkat firmware to have some stability issues for some people.

Guys this tv box (NEXBOX A95x 2/16 with Bluetooth) capable for doing very useful process but it is not stable. I’m a newbie about firmwares but I understand the key points.
The question is; is it possible to use MI BOX ROM with the hardware? If yes how can I found the ported ROM?
Hi I have a 2016 S905X "android box" on which I installed a LibreElec build. Now that the box has been replaced by something else, I was thinking of putting a custom android rom or stock android on it (not sure what's possible) so I can run a few apks of my choosing - kodi, terrarium, netflix, plex, tv provider's app, etc.
Is that even possible to do now? If anyone could give me some pointers to a starter guide to get some form of android back on this box, and how to know which custom roms and/or vanilla android versions are able to run on it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
This is the description of the box I got:
Kekilo Q Box Android 6.0 Marshmallow Q-Box Amlogic S905X Quad Core 2G 16G Dual WIFI 2.4G/5G 4K H.265 with Bluetooth 4.0 Smart TV Box. Android 6.0 OS, Amlogic S905X Quad-core Cortex-A53 2.0Ghz. 2G DDR3,16GB EMMC. Mali-450, Penta-Core GPU
Hi to all my fellow android modders, I am just wondering what would happen if I flash a Custom ROM (MiuiPro 10 ROM for MT6737M) into my Galaxy J2 Prime SM-G532G (MT6737T). I've been in the same situation before on my MyPhone Agua Rio (MT6582M) on which I flashed a Miui 9 MultiROM ported for MT6582. So far no problems yet noticeable for me on my MyPhone, but I am just wondering if I do the same on my J2 Prime, will there be problems? (Being noted that MT6737M is clocked at 1.1 GHz while MT6737T is clocked at 1.5GHz). Will installing the ROM bottleneck my SoC? Or is it better for me to just work on my own port with the aid of guides scattered around xda?
curious if any x64 firmware exists for the Amlogic S905W chip? Been searching and alot of what im seeing so far is x86.
Am also looking for 64 bit android for s905w - the more bare the image, the better - just trying to run some simple software on a device farm (hi reaper!)
