I got 5v 2a charger (10w) with my phone. I see that it supports 18w. Does it mean that it supports Qualcomm quick charge 3.0? Did you guys got normal charger or fast one?

In my China model, I got the 18W Quick Charge 3 charger. I might've seen somewhere which says it supports QC4 but it's still 18W
With my Indian model, 18W fast charger is provided which outputs : 5v=3A/9V=2A/12V=1.5A
I also got 10w charger. It does't support 18w, qc3 charging so you have to separately buy 18w qc3 charger.
I have the global version and I only got the 10W charger
Where can u see that , got a MDY-10-EF with mine.

It supports 18w fast charger but Xiaomi provided the 18w charger in the box only on Indian varient, but you can always buy the 18w charger online & use that with your phone...
Which 18w charger?
Which 18w charger is recommended? I have global version and 18w charger was not in box.

Hi guys, I use an original Xiaomi 30w I do not know if it is recommended, it is very fast it takes between 60/70 min 10/100%
I would just say that unless you really need the faster charge, it's probably better for the battery to charge it slower. General suggestion for li-ion batteries though I suppose you can't be sure for this particular case. Maybe 1.8x higher current has no significant effect on battery life.
Hello what is the UK version of the MDY-10-EF charger called ?
Thanks for the link. It's around 6$ in my country locally.
quik charger
hello everyone. can i charge my note8 with a charger.

i wonder if 18W charger is good enough for long lige of the battery life.
i am very skeptical about charging the phone with 18W battery charger,
i am afraid that this charger could harm the life of the battery, so i more in the side that says, i will stay with the 10W typical charger.
Does anybody agree with that?

Agree.
18W charger only make the battery getting more heat, which is bad for battery.
I only use 18W charger if I'm in a rush.
Now I'm thinking to get myself a Blackshark funcooler and see if it able to reduce battery temperature while on fast charging.
Can we charge Redmi Note 9S/Pro with 27- 33 watt charging. Also if not then can we hack redmi note 9 pro to fast charge to atleast 27 watt using custom rom since i have Xiaomi 27 watt charger (Indian one).
the phone need to be support with the fast charging technology, if the phone is capable only of 18watts then that the only charging power supported by the phone
Stock charger is 5v 2a & 9v 2a
Confirmed working quick charge 2.
Confirmed not working pd.
Does anyone know the charge specs?
18 watts USB-PD works on mine
I was trying to use laptop pd chargers. They fast charge the Xiaomi Redmi note 8 pro fine, but not the nord n200 5g. Max I can get is 5v 2.1a.
Hi everybody,
I have a question regarding using Realme 65w charger with Pad 5 Pro.
So Xiaomi 67w charger should recharge Pad 5 Pro on about an hour if I understood correctly, but when using 65w (10V, 6.5 A) charger from my Realme GT it takes more that 2 hours to recharge it and I find it weird because it's only 2w weaker.
Does Xiaomi have some special way of charging or I missed something when researching about Watts when charging? In my opinion it should take a little longer to charger iz with 65w and not twice as long.
Ultra fast charging employed by Chinese OEMs are mostly proprietary meaning they are limited to their devices only. When used to charge a device from a different brand they fall back to QC 2/3 or maybe USB-PD.

The only charger that managed to charge at real 65 w is a original 67w Xiaomi charger. Nothing else enabled the ultra fast charging. If you what I can post battery guru stats of the tablet charging with the Xiaomi original and a baseus 65w Gan charger.
Make sure your USB C is 6A to use with that 65W!
I have an 18W charger and when I plug it in my Redmi note 9s it says it charging in fast mode.
Today I plugged a 67W charger and appeared Mi Turbo Charging and it was quick to charge.
Does this mean that now it supports turbo charging?
I have MIUI 14.0.3.
Looked for it on Google and someone was saying that it was a bug but the answer was from 2022 and today I found it quick to charge.
