I have an 18W charger and when I plug it in my Redmi note 9s it says it charging in fast mode.
Today I plugged a 67W charger and appeared Mi Turbo Charging and it was quick to charge.
Does this mean that now it supports turbo charging?
I have MIUI 14.0.3.
Looked for it on Google and someone was saying that it was a bug but the answer was from 2022 and today I found it quick to charge.

Hola
Just got my Mi 10 Global version today. I went through the usual base setup and all. I then wanted to see how long the device will take to charge on my 15w wireless charger... Only to see that the Mi 10 is charging around 200mA. It is so slow that the device is actually loosing power if I keep the display on ???
I have two 15 watts fast wireless chargers and using my Pixel 4 XL and Mi 9, I see absolutely no problem... Issue is only on the Mi 10.
Can anyone please check their phones to see if it is only me? Thanks. Any help would be appreciated.
i have the 20w wireless pad. if i use the plug that came with mi10 (30w) it doesn't show that the pad charges with turbo even though this charger has an option of 27w charging. it needs the 27w that came with the pad in order to charge on 20w. i guess just use its own plug..
Hi all,
I am planning on buying a Note 9S, and I was wondering if anyone here knows or can test if the 18W quick charging on this device is Qualcomm Quick Charge compatible? I know the chipset supports upto QC4+, but I also know that it's up the manufacturer to impliment it. I bought myself an Aukey QC3.0 charger for my current phone a few months ago and I was wondering if it will work with this phone.
Thanks
For those that might be interested, I have an update.
I got the Redmi Note 9S, and I tried my Aukey QC3.0 charger and the device does indeed fast charge. It seems like the device is somewhat compatible with Qualcomm Quick Charge. I want to run a timed test to see if the two chargers charge at roughly the same rate. I will update this thread with those results once I have collected them.
Can we charge Redmi Note 9S/Pro with 27- 33 watt charging. Also if not then can we hack redmi note 9 pro to fast charge to atleast 27 watt using custom rom since i have Xiaomi 27 watt charger (Indian one).
the phone need to be support with the fast charging technology, if the phone is capable only of 18watts then that the only charging power supported by the phone
Hey guys,
Can we use a 27-33 watt charger with redmi note 9S ? does it charge faster?
No it will still charge at 18W
Hi everybody,
I have a question regarding using Realme 65w charger with Pad 5 Pro.
So Xiaomi 67w charger should recharge Pad 5 Pro on about an hour if I understood correctly, but when using 65w (10V, 6.5 A) charger from my Realme GT it takes more that 2 hours to recharge it and I find it weird because it's only 2w weaker.
Does Xiaomi have some special way of charging or I missed something when researching about Watts when charging? In my opinion it should take a little longer to charger iz with 65w and not twice as long.
Ultra fast charging employed by Chinese OEMs are mostly proprietary meaning they are limited to their devices only. When used to charge a device from a different brand they fall back to QC 2/3 or maybe USB-PD.

The only charger that managed to charge at real 65 w is a original 67w Xiaomi charger. Nothing else enabled the ultra fast charging. If you what I can post battery guru stats of the tablet charging with the Xiaomi original and a baseus 65w Gan charger.
Make sure your USB C is 6A to use with that 65W!
