Coustom twrp image for Moto e6 MetroPCS - Moto E6 Guides, News, & Discussion

I can add your Moto e6 on here if you send me a copy of your recovery.img so o can port it it only takes me a few minutes now to port to new device I will be uploading more this weekend if you want one for your device send me your recovery.img and I will port it to you real fast
Thanks to A-Team Digital for all there help

This certainly works with usb mouse plugged into usb port. No touch otherwise.

I need 2 files from your device to get touch working

Let me know which ones and I will send them to you. Thanks.

Pick the 2 you need from these files

What carrier do you have what is the model number o have all the files I just need to know the model number and carrier please

I'm repacking a universal one with all the files for all models and carriers right now give me a little bit and I should have it uploaded

I have it built but can't upload it here too big of files in total it is just over 3gb but it adds something's to the system so you don't have to boot into recovery to get root and you have rw access in twrp and Android if you have a telegram let me know and I can send you the files on there if you like

If not I'm uploading them to google drive right now

I got the download size down to 1.6gb zipped and 3.3gb unziped that have to be flashed please read readme.txt

Here is the link to google drive it has 2 zip files download both and it has all the files you need to flash to device
Moto e6 - Google Drive
drive.google.com

Sorry for delay in getting back to you. First, I downloaded the zip files and the readme. Thank you. Second I have the latest version of the T-Mobile Rom, which, I believe, is very similar, if not identical to, the MetroPCS version you have. I will check out the readme file and let you know how it goes. Thanks again.

Okay. I reviewed your zip files and they are the ones from AIO. I looked at all of these files before and decided not to install them since it prohibited upgrading the firmware in the future. If these are required to have a touch-friendly TWRP recovery, then I will pass. I like my Moto E6 security updates too much. By the way, I admire the A-Team work.

They are not the same as there's I added the ability to update you just have to use magisk and go to update in settings and keep magisk after update you can get security updates for a while but moto is stoping updates on that phone next month

I just added a few lines to allow security updates because I started with there base and needed updates for my work phone

I change a few files in the recovery file but twrp will have touch but can not mount as rw or anything no back ups or nothing unless you go my route right now at least you get security updates

Thanks for the explanation. I think I will give it a try.

I tried it and I am now running my T-Mobile version fully rooted with a fully operating TWRP touch working recovery!
The system.img would not install, and that was a very good thing. It was not needed. Everything works. I have done full backups, including non-encrypted data, using the Batik-TWRP. I did update to Magisk 23 and that worked just fine as well. Thank you so much for finally giving us a way to fully root and backup this phone!

You are welcome sir Al software updates will work just remember to go in magisk manger and keep magisk after update

I have two moto e6:
1. XT2005-5 RETCA (bootloader unlocked & rooted with Magisk, but via recovery only)
2. XT2005-1PP Verizon version (Brand new state. Not even activated. But fastboot is available).
Both are with the newest stock rom for their channel (rescued by LMSA).
I followed the readme, but fastboot could not flash any image.
I got error like this:
Sending 'boot' (32768 KB) OKAY [ 1.279s]
Writing 'boot' (bootloader) Image boot failed validation
(bootloader) Preflash validation failed
FAILED (remote: '')
fastboot: error: Command failed
Can you make images if I upload boot, dbt, recovery?
Or can you show instruction to patch/modify images?
Also, I have tried to flash the stock ROM from RECTA onto Verizon version but failed (went into fastboot loop).
Then I tried to falsh back stock Verizon ROM, and failed, as well.
Yet, LMSA could flash the stock Verizon ROM.
Maybe we can copy patched images into LMSA Download folder (C:\ProgramData\LMSA\Download\RomFiles), over the stock ROM, and let it flash for us (probably depending on the "Preflash validation").

[TWRP][RECOVERY] Asus ZenPad 8.0 Z380M (locked bootloader ok)

This is for real, folks. The first working custom recovery for Asus ZenPad 8.0 Z380M and a method to flash it under a locked bootloader. This took quite a bit of work to make, partly due to having to find a way to bypass the locked bootloader. And because of a kernel configuration issue that limited the size of the initial ramdisk, which took some serious effort to weed out. @lss1977 helped to port it to this device. And of course, credits to TeamWin for TWRP.
In addition to this thread, the current Z300M/Z301M TWRP thread and the the old Z300M recovery/rooting thread may be helpful. These models share the same hardware and software base, so most things that apply to one tablet also apply to the other.
DISCLAIMER
As usual, you do anything described in this post at your own risk. No one but you is responsible for any data loss, bricking or damage of your device.
REQUIREMENTS
Windows PC
SP Flash Tool version 5.1532 (only this version will bypass security checks)*
MediaTek VCOM drivers (available through Windows Update)
Z380M scatter file, attached
Recovery image, attached
Z380M preloader file (optional), available inside the stock firmware download
ZenPad Z380M tablet upgraded to Android N
* If you prefer to use a more recent SP Flash Tool, check out the special image file below.
This won't be a guide on how to use SP Flash Tool. There are plenty of good guides out there like this one on how to set up drivers, load scatter files, flash and make backups with SP Flash Tool. If you're not familiar with this software or how to flash MediaTek devices in general, please do your research before attempting this. I will just get straight to the specifics about the ZenPad 8.
FIRST TIME INSTALLATION
For a locked bootloader:
At this point you should have your tablet powered off, the drivers installed, all of your data backed up, and SP Flash Tool v5.1532's Download tab open and loaded with the tablet's scatter file. Open the download agent file DA_PL.bin, replacing the default MTK_AllInOne_DA.bin. (You can use the AllInOne DA if you want, but the procedure involves extra steps as described below.) Load the extracted TWRP recovery image (twrp-3.2.1-0-z380m.img) under the recovery partition line in the partition table. Click the Download button inside SPFT. Now just connect the USB cable to your tablet and your computer's USB port. It should start the download process automatically and disconnect when finished.
Alternative Method:
If you're using MTK_AllInOne_DA.bin, you have to hold the Volume Up key as you insert the cable, which puts the device into an emergency download mode. In addition, you will need to have the stock preloader*.bin file loaded inside SPFT for it to be able to communicate with your tablet. The preloader is available inside the official zip file download. Do not flash the preloader (untick the box) or any partitions other than recovery. You just need to have a valid bin file selected under the Preloader line.
For an unlocked bootloader:
If you have used the Asus unlock tool to unlock your device, you will still not be able to use fastboot flash to install a custom recovery. However, you can do a "hot boot" or a tethered boot of TWRP. This method doesn't require SP Flash Tool. Download the TWRP image, put your tablet in fastboot mode and connect to PC. Then run this command to boot TWRP dynamically:
fastboot boot twrp-3.2.1-0-z380m.img
Once inside TWRP, flash twrp-3.2.1-0-z380m.img to Recovery using Install -> Install Image. Then reboot to recovery. You may be able to use TWRP in the tethered boot mode, but that could result in glitches due to different parameters passed by the bootloader to the kernel. That's why flashing is recommended.
To update from your installed TWRP version to a new one, just transfer the image to your tablet, then boot to TWRP and install it by going to Install -> Install Image and flashing to Recovery.
START RECOVERY
With the tablet powered off, hold the Volume Up and Power keys together until you get to a menu where you can select "recovery". Use Vol. Up to scroll and Vol. Dn to select. If you have a locked bootloader, it will show a Yellow State message because the recovery is not signed by the OEM. Just press volume up to boot it. On the welcome screen of TWRP it will ask you about modifying the system partition, I suggest you go with Keep System Read-only. Doing otherwise will complicate your OTA updates.
WARNING: Never start the stock recovery from the bootloader menu on this device. It is programmed by the bootloader to instantly wipe your data without any warning. Also, be aware that Android installs the stock recovery at every normal boot cycle. So you either have to flash the TWRP every time you want to run it, or disable the automatic recovery installation in the stock firmware. Any kind of mod to the boot image will prevent the automatic recovery installation. If you're not sure which recovery you have installed, you can always do a 'adb reboot recovery' from Android without risk of data loss.
What works: Basically everything... access to major partitions, decrypted userdata partition, decrypted adoptable storage, external SD card, ADB, USB-OTG, touch interface, splash screen, installing stock Asus OTA/web FW updates
What doesn't work: (no known problems yet, but please report any)
Not guaranteed to work: factory reset

P.S. The thanks button doesn't bite.
Nice one now lets get some custom roms done.
Has anyone installed this yet? I see the file has been downloaded a few times. Any feedback is welcome.
If you want the recovery to stick after reboot either rename or remove system/bin/install_recovery.sh.

The way I did it was to edit the init.rc file inside the boot ramdisk and comment out the service block that calls install_recovery.sh. I used the MTK boot image unpack/repack tools. I don't know, it seems like changing anything on the system partition will break OTA updates because of dm-verity. Because that depends on verifying each block of the file system. I have never even mounted the system as R/W in recovery.

OK, I added the scatter file as a download. It was a pain in the ass to copy & paste. (But it did work.)
Problem fixed downloaded new version of flashtool 5.16 and scatter working
Ok I installed TWRP on Z380M P00A, and wanna say to other
1. Use VCOM drivers only from splash tool official site
2. To install VCOM drivers first need enter chinese recovery tablet, then in windows device manager you see USB device, install manualy drivers (don forget in windows disable driver signature)
3. Use only SP-Flash-Tool-v5.1532.00, newer or older version not properly working with this phone
Ok, thanks for the update, PxYra. Just to let you know, there are signed versions of VCOM drivers floating around so you don't need to mess with signature enforcement. Here's one: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=24591000424943663. They are also updated by Windows so you can just let Windows Update install them.
Thanks for your work.
Flashing procedure works only with "MTK_AllInOne_DA.bin" method for me. But this is OK!

is it possible to get the older versions? I need Android 6.x, because of xposed-Framework for my Zenpad 8.0 Z380M.
Greets Freisei
Hey freisei...
I never posted a version for Android 6. There was just one based on the 5.3.6 kernel, practically the same as the current one. That's why I didn't keep it. I could try to build one for you if you want, but I can't test it of course. Does this recovery not boot at all on the old firmware?
It's strange that the DA_PL.bin method didn't work for you. What happened when you tried it? I suppose the old preloader doesn't allow it(?).
hello guys, you think lineage os official version for asus z380kl (p024) will work on our z380m ?

Your ZenPad didn't brick because you deleted install_recovery.sh. It's because you modified the system partition. Making any mods to system is bad advice unless you know exactly what you're doing. Even mounting it in r/w mode can break it. That's because dm-verity has tripped and is blocking access to changed blocks of the file system. So you have 3 options: mod your boot image fstab file to disable dm-verity, restore the original system image block-for-block (either from backup or official firmware converted to an img file), or wipe userdata (lss reported that to work).

Ok. I made some real s*it, I think I deleted every partition except recovery. Can you provide me a twrp backup or some way around my problem?
What do you mean you deleted every partition except recovery? There's like 28 partitions. You would have to work hard to accomplish that.
My first suggestion is to extract a system.img from the Asus stock firmware zip using this. Then flash it with SP Flash Tool. You might also try to install a full firmware zip from TWRP. Although I have no idea if that will work or if it's even safe to try.

i was able to extract system.new.dat from stock firmware zip, but it extracts to a system folder. How do I flash this through sp flash tool?
OK, the system folder you don't need. It should have produced a system.img file also. That's the file you need to flash. Just select it for the system partition row in the partition list and then Download. Hopefully that will be enough.
EDIT: I just looked at the script, and realized the system.img.img file gets deleted in the process. So what you need to do is start the extraction, then after it makes system.img.img, when it starts extracting individual files, hit Ctrl+C. Then you'll end up with the img file.
Thank you very much! it works! YOU are the BEST!
please tell me, in your scatter file, address partition_name: frp (0x80a5000) is correct? if i format this partition (frp), google account remove?

[NEED STOCK ROM, RETEU] Bad Key: Flashed wrong ROM by accident

I accidentally flashed a Retail US version on my Moto Z Retail EU, and now I am having a "bad key" at the Warning on boot up. Can someone provide me with a 7.1.1 or 7.0 link for Retail EU for the XT1650-03? It's for the normal Moto Z, not Play or Force. I NEED an Retail EU Boot as I flashed a wrong one and I cannot go back to 6.0.1 to fix it, so my Boot is broken until someone gives me a proper EU one for 7.0 or 7.1.
Thanks in advance!
Note: I am getting this when trying to flash the "XT1650-03_GRIFFIN_7.0_NPLS25.86-17-3-8_cid50_subsidy-DEFAULT_regulatory-DEFAULT_CFC" files:
D:\MAIN FOLDER\Android\Moto Z\XT1650-03_GRIFFIN_7.0_NPLS25.86-17-3-8_cid50_subsidy-DEFAULT_regulatory-DEFAULT_CFC.xml\GRIFFIN_NPLS25.86-17-3-8_cid50_subsidy-DEFAULT_regulatory-DEFAULT_CFC.xml>fastboot flash boot boot.img

OKAY [ 0.805s]

So yeah, I need a boot image that isn't signed with a bad key for RETEU.
Fixed. Flashed a Retail US 7.0 STOCK ROM even though it said "bad key", and then I flashed erfanoabdi's "Stock" 7.1.1 ROM which flashed a working boot.img that doesn't cause this problem.

Alright, here. Make sure that you have ADB installed System-Wide on your PC, you can use ADB-AIO for that if you don't have ADB and Fastboot Tools installed yet.
Anyways, once you have that, download my .rar file (Yes, .rar, install WinRAR if you don't have it, I won't use .zip in order to compress much more and save space and download time for you), and then run the "Moto Z Automated Flash.bat" file, it should do everything for you, but make sure to READ what I wrote in it, when it asks you to "Press Enter", please READ everything carefully, I will NOT explain further here, everything that you need to know is described and explained to you while you use the "Moto Z Automated Flash.bat" file as a form of guide.
In case you wonder, it is 3.5GB large because it contains the STOCK 7.0 ROM for the Moto Z (that you will flash first), and then the 7.1.1 ROM from erfanoabdi that you will flash through TWRP. It also contains TWRP (which will be flashed during the guide/bat file) and a logo.bin that covers over the stupid "N/A" at bootup.

Ulefone Armor 6E - only stock recovery after flashing TWRP

I tried to flash TWRP using this guide: https://unofficialtwrp.com/twrp-3-3-1-root-ulefone-armor-6e/
I do everything step by step, but every time after rebooting to recovery there is not TWRP but only stock recovery. I have unlocked bootloader. The device is active using the "fastboot devices" command. USB debugging mode is ON. Please help me solve this problem
install Magisk then official twrp app and flash twrp from the app to recovery

The only way it worked for me was to install official twrp app, and flash twrp-3.3.1-0-Armor_6.img from the app to recovery, then click on reboot to rrcovery also in the app.
Twrp will only be available one time after the reboot (so it is not really flashed)
(Adb flash recovery doesn't work for me)
In order to use official twrp app, i rooted with magisk
U welcome
I'm confused now. How did you root with magisk without TWRP. The Magisk installation was basically the only reason for me to flash TWRP

Same as twrp
Install magisk app and do it from there:
Go to github website and download MagiskManager-v7.3.4.apk
https://github.com/topjohnwu/Magisk/releases
From the apk you will be able to flash your boot partition with magisk (it will save a boot image flashed with magisk on your phone)
The second step is simply to transfer that .img on your computer, install platform tools (in order to use adb command line)
Launch cmd.exe in platform tools folder
Connect your phone to computer via a usb cable and usb debug enabled
Type the command "adb devices" to check if your device is recognised (if a window appear on your phone to enable connection click ok)
Then type "adb reboot bootloader" (you are now in fastboot mode)
Then type "fastboot flash boot (then the name of your flashed with magisk boot image.img that you previously put in platforms tool folder in order to not search for the path)"
Then type "fastboot reboot"
Then from magisk manager app update magisk
That's it
No need for a recovery in the first place to root with magisk
finally works. thanks you dude. I really appreciate your help

I also used that guide and couldn't get TWRP or Magisk to install on my new Armor 6E. I was able to use "Method 2" and SP Tool to flash TWRP 3.3.1-0, then I was able to flash Magisk using TWRP recovery.
I flashed Magisk-v20. 0(20000).zip

Now I seem to be stuck with the "Orange State" message at boot.

I get nearly the same result when I attempt to install "ROMProvider.COM_orange_state_disabler 0.3.zip"
(Zip signature verification failed!)
That file also has the same MD5 hash:

TWRP asks for a password when I first boot into recovery. I also tried to contact them at the unofficialtwrp.com website (where I downloaded the zip files), but their contact page seems to loop back on itself.
Has anyone else run into this (and stuck with Orange State warning at boot)?

The Orange State disabler zip is news to me, and it sounds worthwhile to flash.
I successfully flashed the DM-Verity zip from an OTG USB drive after using TWRP to format the system and data partitions to EXT4. No success with ROMs yet.

The 6 and 6E are very similar devices. The TWRP listed here works on the 6E. Magisk also works as described.
I cannot confirm for the 6 (but is likely), but the 6E works with all phh-based GSI ROMs.
These phones use A/B images.

Can't post links even when quoting so you just have to google "treble project github"
I have gotten roms to work (use A/B even if treble check says its only A for somereason).
I wasn't able to get liniageOS to work (from the pie roms, i think everyting else seems to work) and android Q ones even thou it should be able to from what i have gathered.
IMPORTANT! It seems like every rom is missing basic features like gestures, i dont know if it has to do with the kernel maybe? Im nubie.
VERY IMPOTANT!! Lost my IMEI number from messing around with the phone so be careful! Im not responsible.

Would it be possible to get an MD5 checksum and filename which worked for you so that I might compare them? Did you get that file from the unofficial twrp page linked above then? Also were the "system and data EXT4 partitions" on the phone Internal Storage or the USB OTG?

I obtained this file here:

I just ordered this armor 6e phone. I will be able to answer my own question next week, I suppose. Bit, in the armor 6 thread it is mentioned few times that there twrp works on 6e, now I found this thread, which says twrp will not stay flashed to phone.
Which one is correct?
If the armor 6 twrp does work, does it work to flash gapps? Because the y is not pie, and as such is not system-as-root, which from other devices, I know that makes recovery see the phone file structure different
Ie : /system_root/system not just /system
This difference needs different build of twrp.
I will give it a try when I receive it I suppose.

First maybe try out the unofficial TWRP (https://unofficialtwrp.com/twrp-3-3-1-root-ulefone-armor-6e/) maybe it works. I think i didnt get it to stick but its worth a shot ig and you can also try with the TWRP app (havent tried the app way). Sadly i dont remember where i got the file that sticks for me. If unofficial dosent work i can upload it to somewhere. I used ADB tools to download TWRPs. If you use SP tools to flash it while like doing a fresh install. It will go to RED state. You can use SP tools if you first install stock then unlock bootloader and flashing then only installing the recovery. You can install gapps mostly but u cant use dm veryeti disabler it messes with the IMEI at least for me. Im not that savy to know how to fix it. Its my first phone ever messing with. MAGISK works.

Thanks. I looked at unofficial, and unpacked there image. It is set to terrible enabled = no, and is not setup for system-as-root.
Also the prop file says it is for armor 6 not 6e, so I will just build fresh one and use that.

My phone is still not delivered. But I did compile twrp from source, using the September update files from ulefone site.
I started with the device tree from the armor 6, and made few changes that I have found to work for treble devices and system as root on other recent mtk phones I have.
But I can't confirm the build works. If you want to beta test it, let me know.

Images for Nokia 3.2 [Magisk][System and User Images]

Hello,
I've uploaded some image files for Nokia 3.2 and want to share them.
I've packed some images for Nokia 3.2 00WW variant (e.g. Magisk, fastboot ROM) and will upload user images for the 00EEA variant, too.
It just needs some more time to upload completely.
EDIT: I transfered all the files to Mega.nz
https://mega.nz/folder/hVMTiCbT#OhmmxhtKabnNn2hWfiIgHQ
P.S. if someone has the european Variant and wants to provide matching Magisk Patched boot images just send me a link to those and i will add them to my Mega.nz folder
Hello,
i just uploaded the patched boot image december 2019 for the europe 00EEA version in other thread under https://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=4929795&d=1579367908.
Perhaps you can add it to your google drive.
Greetings
Hi, sorry i didnt see it. Could you created a Copy of it with dm-verity disabled? You can do it with superr's kitchen. So that we have a magisk Image for GSIs.
Thanks
P.S. i will Upload the magisk patched image tomorrow.
EDIT: I can Just remove dm verity on my own. :silly:
I've created a Telegram Channel for Nokia 3.2
Updates regarding Source Code, the Google Drive mirror (magisk stuff,Firmwares etc.) And any helpful information will be posted by me on the Channel.

Hi,
I can't help you in this case. Best would be if you send it in.
You can get your imei with 'fastboot getvar all' (without quotes) to send it in.
You need the imei for sending it in. Dont worry about warranty the ar not allowed anymore to denying warranty due to new google terms.
Just go to nokia website and order a repair.

I write a short guide into a new thread. I pack some files for gsi flashing together.
You will find this guide in about 30 Minutes on the Nokia 3.2 Guides section
Hello,
i uploaded the january 2020 patched boot.img for the European 00EA with dm-verify=off.
Please include on your googledrive!

Using these images
Hi All
i've bought a Nokia 3.2 for installing lineageOS ! So i could unlock it and installed this ASOP-Image (probably the 00WW-Version) thru ADB and fastboot with the result to get a crappy OS without WiFI.
At the end i needed about 10 days to get a connection (probably thru qualcomm-drivers) to the pc again, where i can use your (hopefully working) images.
In order to avoid a malfunctioning NOKIA, i am asking about the right way to install the 00EA-Version:
Again i can use adb and fastboot, so first step is to use flash-user-bin.bat for flashing boot.bin, dtbo.bin, system.bin, vendor.bin and vbmeta.bin !
Now there should be a working OS with WiFI, second step would be patching boot_jan2020_dmOFF_00EA.img and third step patching twrp-3.2-dpl-00eea.img.
At last it should be possible to install LineAgeOS thru Magisk Manager (or CWM) ?
Thanks for your advices
Your device needs the images with the same version. So boot.img from January combined with firmware from December lead into bugs like WiFi not working. Reboot to bootloader, there is a info where either 00WW (international Variant) or 00EEA (European Variant) is written. I've uploaded a GSI base for both variants on the Google drive Link at the beginning of this thread. You can find both base 7z Files Inside GSI folder. But be sure which Variant you have. After executing flash-all.bat execute the other bat file (it will flash magisk patched img with dm-verity removed) and after that finishes you can flash any GSI to system.
And you can't install ROMs through Magisk. It is Superuser. You need to be in Bootloader mode.
And USB debugging needs to be on and your PC needs to be authorized by your device. Just activate USB debugging in developer options and type adb devices. There should appear a prompt.
thx
for fast reply. It should be 00EEA, because i've bought it in Austria. I think, i have seen it in the settings/my phone too.
So i will use the GSI-Version tomorrow. With Magisk-Manager i should could load this TWRP-Image (on a SD-Card) too ?
Stupid Question: what is the meaning of the shortciut GSI ?
Regards
other bat-file

Hi s3tupw1zard !
where is this other bat-File ? This GSI (generic system image)-Folder of 00EEA is empty, but i've used user_images_00EEA.7z and this is working perfectly.
In spite of it i would like to change booting (with magisk-patched.img). but this is existing for 00WW only. I've tried to flash twrp-Image too, but there i've got errors, so i've flashed user_images_00EEA completely again.
Thanks for your work
At last
i could create something, but still there is something missing !
I've downloaded boot_nodm_magisk_patched.img from shared googleDrive and patched it with MagiskManager.
Unfortunelately i tried to flash this file without renaming - so i had to reset to factory settings, because booting was not working.
After that, i was remembering to rename this boot-file to boot.img, flashed to factory new system - following flashing the system with LineAgeOS from Andy - https://sourceforge.net/projects/andyyan-gsi/files/lineage-17.x/ (renamed it to system.img)
The result: booting procedure for working LineAgeOS needs about 5 minutes and wifi is missing !
Does anyone have a clue ?
Do i need to setup system with user-Image (December 2019) from Manuels Google Drive before ?
ThankYou for advices
Gerhard
Then you flashed the wrong boot.img.
You must look for your Version - 00WW or 00EEA - and you must have the corresponding security level to your firmware, means January or December ........
00ww - 00eea

thanks for reply.
If i am lucky, i will use boot_jan2020_dmOFF_00EA.img next time - but for now i have (possibly) corrupted partition table file and so device is ended in a fastboot-mode loop - Android ONE Logo flashes up less than 1 second
So hopefully with fastboot flash partition Firmware\gpt_both0.bin (gpt_both0.bin from Nokia_3.2_TA-1156_HMDSW_DPL_015B-0-00WW-B01_QFIL) i can restore partition table file in spite of this 00WW-Version.
Does anyone have seen firmware for 00EEA-Version ?
cheers
Idiots Guide
The reason for infinite bootloop and ADB-Flash error messeage 'FAILED (remote: partition table doesn't exist)' may be (as i remember) is to rename boot.bin from user_images_00EEA of our wizard to boot.img.
Resetting to factory defaults is not possible anymore - so beware of it !

Question [SOLVED] Phone's bricked, either need an answer or 11.0.4.0's image

NOTE: Will just clarify, probably am an idiot and messed up a simple thing, so please do take everything I say here with a grain of salt.
The phone was rooted with Magisk v25.1, and I had also installed the unofficial TWRP from this very forum. I also believe I was on 11.0.4.0 of OxygenOS. It is the factory unlocked version.
I was following a guide to update the phone through fastboot, since stock recovery was just showing a screen with a keyboard, which appeared to be impossible to get past. Said guide is here.
Linked in the guide above is the 8th step of that guide, where you then flash the files from the OTA file after extracting them with payload_dumper. I believe the version I was extracting was 11.0.7.0, but to be honest, it was whatever I downloaded off of the Oxygen Updater app, so I'm not entirely certain. I had installed "boot.img", "dtbo.img", and "modem.img", then getting to "abl.img", before receiving an error: Flashing is not allowed for Critical Partitions. "Well," I thought, "I suppose I just can't do it then. *shrug*. Back to this version of OxygenOS I go." That was before remembering to attempt doing "fastboot flashing unlock_critical", which, gave me: Device already unlocked! Well, clearly not, as I should've been able to write abl.img. Attempting to flash again gave me nothing, so, I said screw it.
Well, upon trying to hit start in fastboot, I noticed the phone were now bootlooping back to fastboot over and over. So, I'm lead to a few conclusions:
a) I'm gonna need "dtbo.img" and "modem.img" (I already have boot.img) from the 11.0.4.0 stock image. I cannot find the actual image, so I'm lead to now needing some help here.
b) There has to be some way to continue flashing the files in fastboot (that is, if that is the correct course of action; I am assuming, please feel free to correct me).
c) There is a different way to fixing this than I am thinking.
d) Worst case scenario, this thing has to go back to OnePlus.
Would really hate to have to get to Step D, as this phone was a birthday present to me, and I'd find it wholly embarrassing to throw my hands up in the air a single day after getting the damn thing for my birthday just to need to send it back already, but if nobody can help me out here, then that's where I'm at.
Would appreciate any and all help/suggestions! Thanks.
EDIT: Phone is stuck in Qualcomm Crashdump mode now, bootable into fastboot with vol up+down+power. Looks like it's irreparable. Already working with OnePlus to get it replaced.
EDIT 2: Fixed it!! Big thanks to this thread for the help.
1)get a usb otg and pendrive
2)download and tranfer pixel experience full build zip file in you pendrive
3)go to fastboot and flash twrp recovery misc and vbmeta and boot to recovery
4)insert pendrive in usb otg and connect it to phone
5)click on install then click on select storage usb otg and flash the pixel experience like you flash other files
6)reboot the phone
7)after setting up download the rom you want to and go to fastboot then flash twrp again 3rd step
8)flash the rom you want to install and flash g-apps reboot your phone
9)complete all steps and you have your phone with custom os/rom

No offense, but this is a pretty dumb response. I don't think you're very familiar with how TWRP is on this device, nor the state of my own. I cannot mount storage, and even if I could, I don't even believe this rom exists for the N200 5G. Along with that, why would a USB OTG be necessary when there's.. I don't know, an SD card slot that works fine and is readable?
Also step 3 is a little laughable. That's why I'm even here in the first place; I couldn't flash every damn thing!
I'll share Oxygen OS 12 if you want it, and let me know if I should keep searching.
Just use payload dumper go to dump the payload and then flash the files with this guide.
Edit: Uploading it via xda didn't work, so here's the google drive link.
