Bluetooth share keeps stopping - Samsung Galaxy S10 Guides, News, & Discussion

Iget the error on the desktop
Bluetooth share keeps stopping
and I cannot click it away. The phone is now useless due to that problem. Does someone know how to get rid of this? I cannot get to settings and so on.

What happened before this issue started? No chance to pull down the system toggles to disable bluetooth?
You can try to boot into recovery mode and wipe cache. If this does not help, you can try to flash stock firmware with Odin.
If that does not solve the issue either, you may have to do a factory reset on recovery. As it wipes your data, how that you have made a backup of everything important.

Same problem here for about 1 week, few days ago , it back to normal. Dont know why.

Make sure all power management is disabled including any of those silly adaptive battery toggles in Device Care.
Only fast charging should be enabled

[Q]Too Many pattern attempts post Odin Flash

So I have had this issue with my phone today where I couldn't seem to get passed the Too many pattern attempts screen.
After trying all my combinations of e-mail and passwords, I was unable to access my phone. As a result, I attempted to do a hard reset (the pressing of both volume rockers and then trying to reset it in that recovery mode).
I did so, wiping all my data, but the too many pattern attempts screen remained. So as a result, I booted up Odin and downloaded the stock versions of the Samsung Fascinate's ROM and proceeded to reflash (or what I believe to be reflashing, I simply followed the directions found in the stickies).
That all said and done, my phone still remains in the too many pattern attempts lock.
I've checked the similar posts on a couple of websites, but was unable to find a situation where all of these fixes did not work.
Thank you!
No replies yet, so I am just going to throw this out there on the off chance that it *might* actually work.
The "complete voodoo lagfix removal" uninstall.zip CWM flash seems to be working as a cure-all for just about whatever may ail your phone, whether you actually *have* voodoo or not...
I would check that out in the OP of this thread.
Download the Voodoo Uninstall on your PC. Copy it to your SDcard (if you don't have a computer that you can put the card in after pulling it out of your phone, try using adb to push it to the phone)
Boot into stock recovery, and flash "update.zip" to get into CWM recovery.
Flash that voodoo uninstall zip using CWM.
I really hope this helps. (Just in case it happens to me. )
Let us know!
I work for flextronics. we see this all the time. it's a known issue that the lock screen doesn't reset with a factory wipe. just call the phone, answer and press the home screen button. it's what we do in store

This is more than likely living in /dbdata . You can wipe that by doing a privacy wipe in settings (requires access to the phone), or flash CWM via odin, and then when in recovery, rm -r /dbdata/ and reboot.
If the phone-call / home button thing else_where posted works, obviously go that route, then do a privacy wipe.

you will more than likely need to mount the /dbdata partition r/w before you can delete the data. This is covered in the Voodoo removal thread (which I had the joy of doing).

Hey guys thanks for all the help,
The calling of the phone didn't work. Tried it, but it kept giving me corrupt errors so I wasn't able to access the home screen.
The voodoo removal sort of worked in that while I was doing it, I also went ahead and did a privacy wipe. Everything would be fine and dandy however, my phone no longer connects to any network. It seems to be in a perpetual state of being unable to find a network. It's not airplane mode, but my phone does think it's January first 2005 again.
Did I miss a step?

You did the privacy wipe from within the settings menu ???? That fixed a similar issue where I couldn't connect to the network

Yes indeed I did. The first thing I did was the Factory data reset.
Unfortunately, the phone seems to be in a state of perpetual ariplane mode preventing access to any network.
The phone also seems to be suffering from that com.android.phone crashes that I suppose make sense given how the Hardware version and the Baseband version are both unknown.
I'm going to try to flash it again in hopes of resetting my phone. The perpetual airplane mode is of course an issue. (but at least I got the alarm functinoality of my phone back)
Hrm, I'm concerned now. Check your settings / about phone and baseband version. Please tell me it does not say 'unknown'.
Yea, mine wasn't stuck in airplane mode, just didn't connect to google's servers to set up gmail.
If you're still rooted, maybe try the radio update ????
Any update ????

DANGER! - Don't go updating your radio unless you really know what you're doing. Yes there has been a radio update with the D01 however flashing the wrong thing to the radio will result in a shiny brick that as of right now can't be recovered!
Yeah I was seeing a bunch of unknowns in a lot of my slots.
I wasn't sure what was wrong, so I did some more research and it seemed as though that the modem aspect of my phone must have corrupted.
So I simply went to a verizon store and swapped out my phones (since I couldn't find a fixed modem).
The other fix of deleting via the privacy wipe definitely worked though.
Thanks everyone!
i500 fascinate too many patterns
what I did I turn the phone off
then turn it on ones the one verizon animation goes of it asks for the email and pass so start hitting home button as fast as you can and sometimes emergency button till it takes you to the main many do not stop till al the icons load up
then you got it but you have to go in to the menu and wipe it off or erease the email account
it worked for me after few tries it shoulg work for you too

Respectfully I have to disagree. Sharing a new solution to an old problem cannot be a bad thing. maybe 6+ months from now it will save someones bacon without having to start a new thread for it

[Solved][Q] Screen keeps shutting down. Please Help!

Okey, my problem is this.
I have installed the phone locator beta from their website. Like the name says it's an app to see where your phone is if it gets stolen, wipe it through sms and do some other stuff. I did not manage to finish the application setup cause I got a phone call during the process. After that I'm locked out of the phone and the phone screen keeps shutting down. It instantly shuts back down after I turn it on. It stays on for like half a sec sometimes, sometimes less. I have managed to uninstall the application through adb to no avail. I have made a backup through recovery also hoping I will be able to restore it without getting the same problem.
But it appears that if I restore the data I get the same thing happening.
Other things I have tried:
Reflashing ROM. It's the stock one from Vodafone.
Reflashing CF-Root Kernel.
Trying to figure out which process I have to kill through adb. But I'm not experienced enough with this to do it.
Trying to remove everything about the app I find out. Still did not work.
Anyone has another idea. I really had a lot of data I don't want to lose.
Thank you.
Update: Solved in post 3.

What I would do is enter recovery mode. From there mount usb storage and transfer everything that's important to PC. Then wipe everything, format system, format sd card and reflash a ROM through CWM. Obviously mount again usb storage to push the ROM from PC to sd card. Maybe it's a little drastic but I can't think of anything else since I'm not a pro user or anything. Well, just an idea.
Hey thomas. Thanks a lot.
I think that's a great idea. At least it's something I did not try and might work well.
I just found out that you can enter usb storage from recovery, right now it seems I can only see the /mnt/sdcard partition. I will play with it a little to see if I can mount the other partitions before mounting USB. I think the application data is in /data/data am I right?
Okey I have managed to fixed it in the most stupid way possible.
I have noticed that if I leave the screen off for like 15 seconds then I get like 2 seconds window before the screen turns off again. I have managed to go to the screen timeout settings and it seems like the application changed that to a very low value as none of the defaults value were ticked. I have ticked the 1 minute value and now the screen stays on.
I have uninstalled the app and I'm really afraid to test it again I should probably make another backup in this state

Hmm ... should be modem-related.
Try to flash another modem (for your region + mobile carrier).
Then wipe cache and Dalvik cache and fix permissions if you have CWM.
Have you changed the development settings?
Or energy saving?
Or have you a task killer app installed?
Good luck !

Hello developers/moderators
I've been experiencing some problem which every other day irritates me and yes have tried solving it by own and here i am after i failed everytime
Whenever i try to remove the "HOME SCREENS" i dont need, my S3 hangs a bit and shows the error: "Touchwiz Launcher Force Closed Unexpectedly"
Lately, i tried flashing the latest XXEMB5 Stock Rom to get rid of this problem, but, it still remains and the worst part of all is that, it makes me to reboot the device by removing the battery. :crying:
Please help me on this... would be very grateful and obliged...
Thanks in advance...!!! :good:
anybody to help pleaseeeeeeeeeeee
In developer options, do you have animations turned off? If so, turn them back on and delete then turn them off again if you like.

Wi-Fi 'stuck' then can't disable or re-enable Wi-Fi

Hi all,
I've started to have an issue with my HTC One X+ where it won't automatically connect to (any) Wi-Fi.
If I then go to settings, Wi-Fi appears as 'Disconnected' but the slider button says 'On'.
If I try and turn it off, it wont turn off. Then 'settings' ends up hanging.
The only way around it is a reboot, but this happens every day now, seems to normally happen when I return home and expect it to drop 3G and connect up to my homes Wifi (as it always has done?).
I really don't want to do a factory reset... I can't say that I've changed anything to cause this...
Does anyone else have the same issue and have you been able to resolve it?
Thanks
I'm having the same problem, but for me I know it didn't start happening until after I did the update. Not sure how to fix either.
Are you both on stock ROM?
I had similar problem after OTA update from AT&T. It was worse than yours since I wasn't able to enable WIFI at all, it just stuck on the "turning on" state. I was able to fix the problem by re-flashing the boot.img following this post:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2235248
Btw my phone is rooted but running the stock rom.
Hope this helps.

Yes I'm stock and locked right now because I have some problems I need to return the phone under warranty for, and I have the problem where it is just stuck trying to turn on. Thanks for the link, but until I switch this one under warranty I don't want to do any modifications to void the warranty. As soon as I get the new one I will be unlocking and rooting it immediately, not doing so is killing me right now.
Well just reboot in bootloader mode and flash the correspondent RUU. You know how to find the good version?
