As the title says, is there any way to get Samsung Flow working with Huawei P10 on Android 7.0?
In the app description it says it supports Android devices version 6.0 and up.
If I open the app in the Play store, it says "Your device isn't compatible with this version" but why? I can install the APK from apkmirror, but when I run it, it won't turn on? Any idea what the problem is with the app? Does it not support Android 7.0 yet?
Is there a "hack" to make it work?
Samsung Flow is exclusive to Samsung devices, and at the very least, won't work without root and some serious mucking around.
Hello everyone!
My name is Kostas and I am fairly new to android development. I have a big LCD Visual Advertisement Display with Android 4.4.2 and I want to install a basic app that I have made in android studio. I think that this device type does not behave like an ordinary mobile or tablet device does, leading me to some problems.
The app contains an image and the a hello world text. I use Grable to build an unsigned apk.
When I am trying to install it, a pop up window shows up informing me that the it cannot be installed.
What should I do to solve this issue?
According to the device and system information shown in the images, is there a way to root it or import other ROM to it (custom or stock)?
Thank you in advance,
Kostas
I am looking to root my Galaxy View so that I can upgrade to a newer version of Android and had a couple of questions. What version can I update to without running into problems and will updating to a newer OS allow me to install apps that were not compatible before such as Teams? This is my first time rooting a device since my original Motorola Droid and much has changed it seems. Thanks for any help.
Idk why Samsung wouldn't continue to support their largest device on the market. Here's an idea why don't the apps just continue to support all devices they did use at one time. They already have the os so just but it back on the server like the current os is. So it's the app writers that's making devices obsolete.
Obviously I want that sick galaxy skin for fortnite. I know there is a way to make your device show up as something different but does that require root? It doesn't have to be permanent, just active while I turn on fortnite.
You can spoof your phone but it does require root
How do I spoof my hauwei p20 pro to an s9 or note 9 I have twrp magisk and installed

That probably won't work as you won't have access to the Galaxy Apps store

ofc there is a way to do it and it's quite easy but I'm not going to tell you because it's a literal 30 second google search away, you didn't need to create a thread
I might a lot of hate for bunping this but i need answers.

Just did this and installed the fortnite installer but it said device not supported
Fortnite for Android is built in ARM64 (armV8) code however NoxPlayer or any other emulator runs on armeabi-v7a (armV7) architecture so it is incompatible.
In order to spoof the device to make it look like something else you have to root the device and edit the build.prop file.
It is also true that you can find this using a Google Search. I would suggest those who have rooted and wish to spoof a device do some reading on what they need to do. It isn't that hard but to find what lines that need to be edited (and with what to use for the edit) in the build.prop will depend on what you want to spoof the device as.
There isn't any other way to make this happen without having rooted the phone. In the case of Snapdraon Galaxy S9+ owners there is no root method so you can't spoof your phone to be another. For Exynos Galaxy S9+ users follow the tutorials on the forum.
Keep in mind that if your wanting to spoof the device just for a skin you also have the risk of tripping the knox counter and all the related consequences.
to my understanding the skin was only available to preorders anyways
Just wondering if it is possible to spoof your phone model (in build.prop or elsewhere) to make a particular phone work on a particular carrier.
i.e. Huawei phone on Verizon
How does a carrier know which phone you are using?

Regarding your last question. It's read off your device and transmitted to the carrier.
To spoof/fake I actually only know one tool that I'm using myself but the device must be rooted and also running Xposed. The latter means the ROM must be Oreo or lower as Xposed isn't available for Pie; second with Xposed installed you're never going to pass the SafetyNet check if you require that. Finally, depending on your ROM version use XPrivacyLua or XPrivacy, both by M66B, and I always suggest the pro version to mainly support the developer and the development but also to enable some additional, useful features. XPrivacyLua has a companion application.
