I am running MSM Xtended ROM on H872. Yesterday morning (April 1st) for no apparent reason, the theme (accent colors) I had been using forever started showing up in all rainbow colors. Every time I checked settings, or quick settings, the colors changed, and slider bars were rainbow colored too. I fiddled with it several times throughout the day but could not find any setting to correct the issue. I went to bed stumped.
When I woke this morning, the accent color themes were displaying correctly as I had them set for the past several months. It occurred to me that yesterday was April Fool's day....but could that really have been programmed into the ROM?
I am at a loss for what happened, and am concerned if a rogue app/person was able to screw with my phone like that. Any thoughts?
Thanks!

I have this bizarre problem that I could realistically deal with, but I'm too OCD to just give up without a fight. I'm currently running Hyperdrive Rom, latest version, and at first I never had this issue (see attached picture for reference), then about a week or two ago it started up and hasn't resolved itself at all. There are times when the text or missed call notification on my lock screen doesn't show at all, but the empty space where it would appear is empty. I've tried clearing my messaging cache to no avail. Any ideas?
Well, appears i may have fixed it. I went through and made sure i didn't have any missed calls or voicemails, and after doing so, lockscreen text notifications appear where they did before. I have no idea how this happened in the first place though...
Having a bit of a problem since yesterday, all of a sudden the colours on my Swift 2+ have gone really, really dark and on the lock screen I can see shadows/burnt images of the status bar and nav bar almost like overlapping my screen? I thought maybe it was something to do with a theme I installed, so I uninstalled all of them to no avail, so then I thought I'd do a factory reset on my device, still hasn't fixed it... Is this to do with the hardware itself or is it a software issue? Thank you in advance for any help
That happened to me a few times on my swift 2+ but it went away after I restarted the device and it hasn't happened to me since I updated it to the latest software. Also, I think the faded nav bar is something that's part of the software and not screen burn because it's not there when the device is turning on or when it's in the bootloader

Had a similar problem twice recently but by rebooting that got rid of the problem.
Today I put my phone away in my pocket after using it. A few minutes later I went to check the time and the screen was in grey-scale with a weird grid/box around icons and widgets. I reset my phone in hope that it would resolve the issue. The grid/boxes went away but the grey-scale persisted. It has been like this for a few hours now. I have check every option in accessibility, personalization, and display with nothing helping.
I took a screenshot to include in this post but when moving the screenshot from my phone to computer, the screenshot had color when viewed on my laptop.
I am running HTC Sense 8 and have Android version 5.0.2.
Please help - this is a very annoying issue.
Sounds to me like a hardware issue, such as loose ribbon cable inside, or LCD is failing.
Recently am noticing that when I connect my huwai mate 20 pro to my sync 2(ford endeavour)* the whole application is pushed down to 0.5 inch and there is a white bar on that place...i can see all android buttons but* inside region is pushed down. It seems like the notification area is consuming that white space. When I remove and add the app it works for some time, but again it goes back to the old stage.. The problem is the apps like Google maps are pushed down, also even in night the white bar is highly visible and its a distraction.
I had that white bar last week.
Today I didn't have it, I'm not sure what triggers it...
I only had it in home menu, not apps.
I have the same problem. Started yesterday. Shifts my whole screen down by the height of the notification bar. It's very annoying, and there's no way of removing it.
Yesterday it popped up by itself, but was concentrating on the road to even realise when that was. Hope this is resolved soon.
try to let the flip-cover open... worked for me.
So it's just like the title says. I restart my phone, and it will get to the animation and almost make it all the way through it. I'll see the "Google" which transitions into the Monet-colored "G". Normally that would be it. It would stay on the Monet G and a little progress bar would appear under the G until it booted to homescreen. But now it's doing this new thing where it will get to the Monet G, then start over again. Back to the whole "Google", then Monet transition to the "G". And I'm not sure why. I haven't done anything different. This just started to happen in the last few days that I've noticed. I don't restart my phone every day and I also don't stare at it while it's booting to see something I've seen a thousand times either. So at most it's been maybe a week since it's began. And I updated way before that. I'm on TQ1A.230105.002.
Other than it just being strange, I have no other issues. Guess I'm just wondering if this happened to anyone else? Or if anyone knows the cause and how to fix it?
