Hello, on my 2 years old Stratos 2, the vibrations suddenly stopped working.
The option is set obviously to "Enabled", but any of the 3 strengh levels of vibration achieve a result on the watch.
Any chance to get it back or is the hardware that makes the vibration probably broken?
Thanks and regards

I used to use s.e. W810, recently switched to xperia mini. Everything is pretty nice but the vibration level. It's barely sensible. When I have my phone in my jean pocket switched to silent mode, I feel nothing and when I check it to see whether there is any notification, usually I got ,say, 3 messages and 2 missing call
So, it's obvious that I don't feel the vibration. Searched a little about it, but neither could find anyone suffers from that problem like I do nor a solution to increase vibration level. However thought that maybe by reaching the phone's system files that can be feasible. So, is it possible to do that, if so, how ?
Thanks in advance.
I've not had a problem with it, but there are also apps to allow you to make your own vibration patterns. So maybe something with a bit more stop/start would help?

Thanks for your suggestion but the problem is not the pattern but the level of the vibration definitely. I compared it with other phones and it's really not that high like old phones.
Go sms pro can help you define how many miliseconds the vibration for a notification for a new text should last. haven't used any app which can do the same for incoming calls, but it should exist somewhere in the market!
Actually what I'm looking for is to be able to increase the power of the motor inside the phone which creates those vibrations. This is adjustable for sure, cause for instance as typing it vibrates very slowly. So, by playing with codes they can be achieved, at least as theoretically
I am having this problem with my phone. Every time I set the phone ring volume, after a while (30-60 minutes) I suddenly hear my phone vibrate and then it automatically on its own goes into silent mode with silent icon appearing in the top bar. It is very annoying to keep checking my phone to see if it has not gone into silent mode.
Any idea what may be causing this. I cannot find in anything in the settings to enable or disable this.
please help!
I am getting tired of my phone automatically turning the ringer off and going into silent mode after emitting a short pulse vibration (like in notification) while sitting on my desk every few hours.

got this tip from an user on Android Central:
There is a settings tweak in the Power Save mode to toggle vibrations. I think the default is no vibrations.
I will give this a try now.

Thank you for the tip. I want to say that I love this phone....however, given its rounded back shape, the vibration was especially loud and annoying. I had been looking for ways to disable all vibration but didn't realize the power saving mode was the culprit. Now, I wont jump out of my chair every time I get a notification. Thank you again for putting my nerves at ease!

i figured out what the issue is - an app called Onavo has been changing the ringer profile to silent whenever mobile data is becoming active. uninstalled the app and it works like a charm.
good job
Its mostly caused by power savers. just uninstall apps you suspect one at a time

Hello all
I have a OnePlus One running CM12 (unofficial). My haptic feedback for virtual button presses is very weak. I *may* have affected performance of the motor a when trying to solder a Qi receiver into the handset, as I accidentally touched the battery live to the motor causing it to run at full power for a few seconds. Otherwise, I could be totally imagining it and it could be caused by CM12 [edit: I have tried Paranoid Android and it is super weak on PA too]. Either way, I just want to make the haptic feedback duration for virtual button presses a few milliseconds longer so it's more noticable.
I have managed to do this for Google Keyboard in the app settings and it works nicely.
Otherwise, vibration intensity is set to maximum, which is good for notifications, but I really need to increase the duration, not the intensity. Is there a way to do this in Android... like the equivalent of a registry tweak or something?
Thanks
Mike
EDIT: I found an old post here which explains that (at least on Gingerbread):
If you want to set your own values they are located in the framework-res.apk\res\values\arrays

Being a total amateur, I have no idea how to edit these - any suggestions?
Hi!
I bought xiaomi my pad 4 on aliexpress, it comes with Mokee pre-installed.
The vibration when pressing a key does not work, I have tried applications to test it and it has not worked.
I have seen a video of android 8 that from GBoard activate the vibration, but I have gone to look for the option and it does not appear.
Does anyone have this tablet? Does the vibration work?
I return the tablet to the seller?
I would appreciate your help, greetings.
I don't think it has a vibration motor, mine doesn't vibrate either.

I don't know any tablet which has a vibration motor..
Thanks for the answers. I'm more relaxed
I thought the tables also had vibration.
It is strange to press a virtual button and have no tactile response.
Anyway, the tablet is very good.
I'm not an expert in hardware. But I have searched for mipad 4 teardown and in the pictures I have not seen any motor.
I will make one last attempt changing Mokee for original MIUI.

vibration works in miui man ?
I'm using official MIUI with OTA support and there's not any vibration setting in SwiftKey keyboard. Attached screenshot.
Same settings screen shows vibration setting in my phone.
So, no, there's not vibration for keyboard in this tablet.
Mi Pad 4 has no vibration! GPS module also absent!
Hi all,
First post forgive me if this has been asked...
I accidentally found that pressing either the up or down button 3 times in a row on my T rex turns on the camera flash on my Note 10. Awesomeness!! But is this set by default? Can you change these things?
Cheers
Edited: I have Notify and Fitness for Amazfit, which I added a while ago for my Amazfit BIP. Just found the setting that is enabling this.
