Hi all,
First post forgive me if this has been asked...
I accidentally found that pressing either the up or down button 3 times in a row on my T rex turns on the camera flash on my Note 10. Awesomeness!! But is this set by default? Can you change these things?
Cheers
Edited: I have Notify and Fitness for Amazfit, which I added a while ago for my Amazfit BIP. Just found the setting that is enabling this.

A newb's story
Ever since, I hate haptic feedbacks that are unnecessary like when you just select a virtual button, say for example on a Pie Control. It doesn't make sense.
Now, a ROM named COSMIC conquered my phone and since then they never came apart. Together, they said "we can conquer the whole world!" One day, this app named Antutu came and tested my phone. The outcome? It was fair. But one thing strange happened. All the virtual buttons on the Pie Controls module of xPosed would return haptic feedbacks when they're pressed or selected. Those haptic feebacks are the sudden tremors that alert a user like me. I panicked. I flashed COSMIC, over and over again. And tried searching for something to stop the tremors on my phone but nothing changed. There are tremors everywhere. Even when I tap and hold a widget.
Until one day, I found this toggle switch "Power Saving" in the pull-down panel from above the screen (status bar). I just tapped on it, and boom! No more haptics.

If you would have asked me then I would have answered you that power saving completely disable this haptic feedback.........But good to know people exploring cosmic rom very deeply.......
if u have any other issue then post it on rom thread so that it can be removed in next update......

I've installed and used the IMobs Battery Callibration App (see how-to and play store
Short description: i have run the calibration, and now some apps are not triggered to run, e.g. the alarm doesn't off.
I have run the 'long' calibration, where it cycles through every single app to do something about their battery use. Now I've a problem with some apps. It seems all to do with that the apps do not wake up/start when triggered, or do start but are suppressed quickly. I've tried to find a solution on this forum, but didn't find it.
example 1 alarm doesn't ring: e.g. an alarm is set for 6 a.m. to wake up. At 6 a.m. the phone wakes up, sometimes in a flash the click/alarm view is visible for a moment and it immediately disappears. The alarm does not sound (or only available fraction of a second).
Note: I have noticed that after reboot the ringing is triggered, but after some time (say 1 day or maybe half a day), it doesn't ring at the specified alarm time.
example 2. When I open de cover of the phone, thee screen does not turn on (it's a special Samsung cover, that turns on the screen when opened). Also when I press the power button, the 'small screen' belonging to the Samsung cover does not turn on; the whole screen turns on in stead.
example 3. In contacts, there is a function 'Business Cards', which can open the camera, take a picture of the card, and create automatically a contact from it. When I press the 'camera' button, the camera starts and closes immediately, as if something is detecting it as not-the-foreground app.
How can I solve this?
I have already tried to search on this and other fora, but because the term 'Battery Callibration' is so common, I find only how-to guides! Trying to solve this I was already wondering these questions:
Question 1: what does Battery Callibration actually do when do the 'long' calibration? It goes through all the apps. What setting does it change?
Question 2: how can I reverse whatever Battery Callibration did?
Question 3: would factory-resetting acutally help, since it required root, it might have changed settings in the system partition?
Question 4: are there other people with similar problems? I couldn't find any, but some experts here have more experience or more luck finding info.
Device: Samsung Galaxy Note3 (model N9002) with Android v4.4.2
XDA Developers is a busy forum and I am new here; I was wondering if I had posted this in the wrong section, since I didn't get any response so far.
Thanks for your kind help.
Hi guys,
I've notice something:
I've been using a Huawei p20 lite for the last couple of months and I always used Do not disturb function during night/bed time.
I've also always used the smartphone as alarm clock
However since the last update ANE-LX1 8.0.0.144 (C432), the alarm won't go on, it does nothing, during do not disturb is active.
I've checked the priorities and alarm is a priority, so it should go on and ring and wake me up but this stopped happening.
Do you have this issue?
Thanks
Hi. Well one of the thing You can try is to clear cache memory and see if it helps.
There is a link on the YouTube how to wipe cache memory on P20 lite - but i am not able to post it.
let us know if that helped.

turn off device > press vol up + on/off button > you will enter recovery mode then in there you select clear cache
Sent from my Huawei P20 Lite using XDA Labs
Thanks guys.
all the above was tested but did not work.
I got it solved but only with a full wipe factory reset and configuring device as new...
Thanks again

I have a P20 and had the same problem. I fixed it by going into the clock app settings/notifications and there, enabling priority display. The fact that I used phone clone to copy everything from my old phone might have messed with this, or maybe it was like that from the start...
Enable silent mode, not do not disturb mode.
Try this (for EMUI 8.0.0):
Settings => Apps & Notifications => Notification Management => Clock => Enable Priority Display (it was off by default on my phone).
Regards.
Hey,
i recently updated the firmware of my BIP and noticed an annoying bug. As the watch now changed to German language i barely can see the time of the last run kilometer as it is overlapped by the message "time on last kilometer". Does this happen in other languages too? If not, i might want to switch back to English. How would i do that?
Thanks
Hello, on my 2 years old Stratos 2, the vibrations suddenly stopped working.
The option is set obviously to "Enabled", but any of the 3 strengh levels of vibration achieve a result on the watch.
Any chance to get it back or is the hardware that makes the vibration probably broken?
Thanks and regards
