Project Sakura is a custom ROM based on Lineage OS, It tries to remain true to it while also providing some more functionality and UI changes. Its sole purpose is to provide a platform which is powered by Lineage and is more customisable than Lineage.

Running it on my S8+ since last night, everything I use works great. Thanks dev

This is an awesome build of sakura in 2021 .. very smooth and battery life is good ... I hope its better in the next updates...

I get an error once I flash saying that I downloaded the wrong version and that my device is dreamlte, yet my phone is s8+ (dream2lte)

What about miracast? Is working?

nice rom

Hello @Haridhayal, the truth is I am a fan of your projects, I started from pixel experience installing on my Galaxy s8 but the battery drained a lot and it overheated in my daily use until I tried installing Evolution X and it was great, extremely grateful for that ROM but When I had 2 months on average with that ROM, I had configuration problems that were only altered and I didn't know why heck until I kept reading and I found the last of your Sakura Project projects and it was great for me, almost the same as evolution but more stable. When I installed YouTube vanced or some application I had to enable those permissions to allow to install which one did not allow me and not only that it also restricted me that certain applications have access to notifications I could not activate them, believe me I was already about to return to stock, no I believed until yesterday that I installed this new version 11 of Project Sakura and that it had details which I particularly liked, such as their WhatsApp notifications, changes in recent applications, Among others I want to emphasize that I am not an engineer in programming or something for the style More solo I'm a geek testing ROM.
I want to tell you about an error @Haridhayal that is pulling me a little bit, it is the battery issue I charge it to 100 and suddenly in my use in 5 min it drops to 76 and it stays there it does not go up when I load it and it does not go down When I play something heavy like COD, I am willing to help you, just tell me how to do it and thank you very much for this great ROM, Congratulations !.

This is the Logcat that you saved from my device.

How likely is it that the hotspot will be fixed at some point? Kinda of a dealbreaker in general...

I presume Gear VR won't work with this since it's Lineage?

looks like I am banned on your telegram channel for some reason, can someone help me in getting unbanned please? @Haridhayal

Thanks for the Rom!
Sadly, this rom is experiencing the same issues I encountered on both los and havoc.
1. Camera image gets frozen after 15 min of continuous use in any app. E.g. skype, whatsapp.
2. LiveDisplay doesn't work, nightmode gets reset after you turn the screen off an on again.
Nevertheless, keep up the great work.
Regards

where do you get the lineage 18.1 device tree's from? i can only find the 17.1 device trees on github

Screencast works? And how is General sound and call quality?
Edit: Installed it. The screen cast does not work but you can stream to chromecast from YouTube. Rom is stable and battery life is ok. Maybe battery will improve in someday. Using with rz kernel.

Vulkan api is not available

I second this, I'd be installing right now but I use hotspot on a daily basis. I'll be keeping an eye.

[Q] Reverse tethering in Oodie Prime[ROM]

Hello friends.....
I've been using Oodie Prime X for a while... I love the looks, interface of this... The only problem i'm facing is the reverse tethering.. It doesnt work. I couldn't figure out the reason.. Although it is not much important, it is really very usefull while having to download large amount of data for some apps, when v dont have a wifi connection.

WiFi Issue - Not Turning On

Okay, so I've had this problem for a while now and for a while, I just used 3G, but then moved to using a different phone. But now I'm fed up of using my other phone, as it's no where near as good as the DNA, I'm looking to see if I can fix the problem.
Anyway, the problem is that I can't turn WiFi on. I flick the switch and it gets stuck at "Turning on Wi-Fi...".
(It's definitely a problem device side because I can't even see a list of networks or anything)
I'm currently unlocked, S-OFF. I've tried flashing different ROMs/kernels and even flashed back to complete stock. I've tried WiFi Fixer and WFix Manager with no luck.
I also opened the thing up to see if the cable was loose, but seems to be okay - could it be a board issue or something? If it even is a hardware issue?
Anyway, I thought a logcat may turn up some useful information, but I don't really know what I'm doing when it comes to understanding logcats. So perhaps there is someone that can make more of it:

Is there anything in there that would suggest it's a hardware issue, or a software issue?
If you think you need more information from me to help solve, just ask! And any help would be greatly appreciated!
What's your current radio/baseband version?
Have you updated the radio and/or firmware so that they match the software version you are trying to run?
If you have updated, are you just updating the radio or the firmware too?
Thanks for the quick reply,
My current radio is: 1.01.01.1112
I'm running: ~NuSenseONE~ Max Dlx RC1.8
They should work together, right?
But I still have the problem when I'm running stock Sense 4 and stock radio with or without unlock/s-off/etc.
I've been messing around all day, flashing different ROMs, kernels, radios, recoveries... Just everything I can think of.
I've attached the output of dmesg from boot. With that and the logcat, is it possible to determine if this is a software issue, or a hardware issue. Because if it's a hardware issue, I can stop fussing over this thing.
Why don't you post this in the rom thread?

According to his posts, it happens on any rom, so it's not rom specific.
Sounds like hardware failure.
Out of interest, which part of the hardware is responsible for the WiFi?
Would it be possible to replace this myself?
If not, it's not the end of the world. I'm just interested to know.

Try putting the device back to stock config. At that point it may take several factory resets to trip the wi fi
Did you ever find a fix? I have the same problem, with the same stack trace.

Crash when decompiling and rebuilding with apktool

I'm trying to decompile the instagram apk with apktool. Right now for leaning I'm literally just decompiling, recompiling and resigning without any other changes just to test to see if it works:
apktool d -f -r ~/Downloads/Instagram_v230.0.0.20.108_apkpure.com.apk
apktool b ~/Downloads/Instagram_v230.0.0.20.108_apkpure.com -o ~/modified.apk
java -jar ./uber-apk-signer.jar --apks ~/modified.apk
