Hi all,
I could really do with some technical support please. This lunch time my Realme 7 Pro decided to go into an endless boot loop. The phone has not been modded in anyway. I tried to talk with Realme tech support via online chat but they asked no real questions and offered no technical advice. They said send it to their service center and that was that. I called their service center and I asked if they could resolve this issue over the phone. They said they are not technical support. Please send the phone and they will look into it. I am unable to back up the data before sending due to the boot loop. I asked if they could preserve the data as I have hundreds of photos of our toddler on their that are not linked to the cloud. They said that the first thing they would do upon receiving the device would be wipe the phone I hope one of you smart cookies can help. Thank you in advance.
Just an update. I have got the phone into safe mode and it still does reboots after showing the home screen for 1o seconds or so.
Also I have foound the OTA update on the Realme website but when I try to install from the bootloader it says that the version installed is newer. Is there a way to overide this?
Right. Sorted. I managed to transfer a few photos and videos over to the SD card before it rebooted. I repeated the process until all was moved. I have done a factory reset and it seems to be stable now not that I'd trust it. Time for a beer or three.
glad you survived it. it's a good phone but no user base because they did not release official unlock

Hey everyone,
I'm sorry if this question has been asked before. I have looked but can't find a definitive answer.
I needed to unroot my Nook because I could no longer download books which I purchased online. First, I did the factory reset. I was successful but could not complete the registration process. I got to the part where it asks for my email and password, and I always get 'Sorry we're having trouble setting up your NOOKcolor. Please shutdown the device and try again.'
I called Customer Service- what a joke. They determined, after almost an hour on the phone, that it was a deregistration issue on their end (I did it on my end as the 2nd step of the factory reset).
I thought that maybe it wasn't competely unrooted, so I did another reset by flashing the latest version of CWM and a stock zip file (followed Huskermania's video). I ended up having to use 1.0.0 stock because CWM determined that 1.0.1 and even 1.3 stock files were 'bad'. I got a boot loop at first and then it automatically downloaded updates. The Device Info screen says it's 1.1.0.
Still can't reregister after chatting with a 3rd rep online and 5+ attempts to deregister on their end. Has anyone successfully gotten BN to replace their device while having this problem? I did not tell them I was unrooting, just that my device froze during use. I hope I don't end up with a paperweight!!
Hi,
I've got Nexus 9 Stock, unrooted and bootloader locked, I got an OTA update, downloaded and installed it, when it rebooted the boot animation repeated endlessly.
It doesn't do part 2 of the boot animation it just repeats part 1, the four colored dots dancing around in circles..(is this a bootloop?)
I tried booting into safe mode without any success.
I tried wiping the cache partition but it didn't seem to do anything, it just stayed on 'formatting cache' for ages..
I rebooted, still endless boot animation. I rebooted back into fastboot and then recovery, when recovery loaded it had an error message 'cant mount cache partition'..
I tried wiping the cache partition again but got the same result, it stayed on 'formatting cache' for ages..
I rebooted back into recovery mode and tried 'formatting data/factory reset' and again it didn't seem to do anything, it just stayed on 'formatting data' for ages..
When I rebooted back into recovery it went straight back to where it left off: 'formatting data' without displaying the menu, and it stayed there for ages..
I figured, at the very least, recovery is buggered. So I tried flashing twrp via fastboot but I soon learned I can't do that while the bootloader is locked and I can't unlock the bootloader without enabling it in developer options which i can't get to because of the endless boot animation.
Help please, what should I do?
Wiping cache takes much longer on the N9 than any other device I've owned. Seriously, give it 30 minutes to one hour to complete wiping cache; don't power it off while it's doing that.
Once you're done wiping cache and rebooting you'll probably still be on 5.0.1. Your options are to wait for Google to release a new OTA, call HTC for an RMA, or flash the factory image (it can be done without overwriting user data).
I'm having the same problem. Actually, a bunch of us on the Nexus 9 product forums are having the problem too.
https://productforums.google.com/forum/?utm_medium=email&utm_source=footer#!categories/nexus/nexus-9
Google seems to replacing some and referring other people to HTC. I spoke with HTC this morning and they're having me send it to them for repair.
It's probably a nand problem!!
I hope this isn't the beginning of a #nexus9bricked
Nexus 7 tabs have been having hand failures for months now. Just search twitter for #nexus7bricked
+1 to the update bricking their Nexus 9
Yep mine got bricked when I installed the OTA update on a stock locked Nexus 9 this evening. Factory reset didn't fix the issue and I can't flash 5.0.1 because of Google's asinine developer options in Lollipop.
You can't flash even a signed factory image without selecting a Developer Option allowing for ADB to unlock the boot loader. So if you can't boot into the OS, you can't use Recovery to flash an image. Every Android device I've ever owned has been near indestructible because you could always refresh from recovery. Not so in Lollipop anymore, even with a stock device, unless you have the foresight to preemptively select the Developer Option allowing the boot loader to be unlocked.
I called HTC and they knew my problem almost before I got on the call given the call volume they're getting. They said I had two options: wait for an impending Google update fixing the issue coming sometime this weekend/early next week or RMA it to the repair center. They expect the update this weekend, and if I RMA it, that will take 7-10 business days and the repair center will simply be waiting for this imminent update fix from Google.
The rep could not explain to me how Google is going to issue an update to fix a boot loop on a device that can't be flashed, so I'll believe it when I see it. Part of me thinks they've been totally sandbagged with calls on this tonight and know they can't possibly repair/replace this many devices in a timely manner.

I also believe they are pretty busy with this issue. After 4 calls over 12 hours, I finally have an RMA and have the privilege of sending them my device to get repaired. Now, I have to wait 2 days for them to send me the shipping labels (they are covering shipping) and then 7-10 days for the repair.
What a PITA for a "premium" device.
Yeah they suggested I call back tomorrow or Saturday for updates on when this Google fix is coming about. The Nexus support agent I chatted with at Google says he's unaware of any impending update to fix this issue.
Right now I'm afraid I'm going to call HTC in a day or two and find out I have to send it in, and then I'll start the whole process 2 days later than I could have.
HTC live chat: guy said, that they repair using fastboot only. Imho, service command for flash on locked bootloader is present and hidden under OEM section.
Phone shop couldn't reinstall firmware. I'll sent it back to HTC to fix.
Meanwhile, I solved my problems by buying a new tablet - Galaxy Tab S 10.5 !
Thanks for all the replies, best of luck to everyone else
Now I can get back to wasting time and energy playing clash of clans hehe.
I reset my device and forgot to turn off all my two steps for all my recovery emails so I am stuck playing with googles dumb automatic re$covery system.
I am stuck on the Samsung FRP asking for my google.
I am using
Xfinitiy Note 8 (CTT)
8.0.0
950USQUCRF3
I started the google recovery process and it emails me just to do the same exact thing ... go to the recovery page and I’m sick of waiting for them, to reset my password or verify that I a, the user of the email that is associated on my device that does not have two step.
I have watched every video and it seems like they are all running version 7.1.1
Can anyone please tell me how I can get by the FRP page instead of waiting for google automatic robot recovery system, I had to call live google drive help and she said she had the same issue but the recovery page was the only option. I have been looking around Md see people can bypass it with Odin or adb or sidesync.
Is my version able to get by this frp I reset the first time and I forgot to turn off two step and google had reset ,y password within two days. The second time I reset it I turned off two step and got in immediately.
Can someone please help me I listed the version above.
Thank you I’m advance

I don't have this device but, you should be able to obtain some member guidance within the following thread that's specific to your device.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3692384
Good Luck!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I DO NOT provide support via PM unless asked/requested by myself. PLEASE keep it in the threads where everyone can share.
SAMSUNG FRP NOTE 8, they recovered an e-mail that was not synced with the device
So google recovered one of my account that I deleted about 3-4 weeks ago, but they still have yet have recovered the one I need to access my phone.
They have absolutely no LIVE PHONE/CHAT SUPPORT for GOOGLE ACCOUNT but they have it for other products such as DRIVE....
SO I am going to try again and bypass the FRP and the first time I did it, it showed FAIL. When I was reading one of the post on the link you provided It was suppose to show FAIL..... but I want to know if anyone have much faster process to bypass FRP. It doesn't matter with my Xfinity, it's that Samsung FRP... I never ever turned it on but I did this time because the IRIS SamsungPass, I wouldn't need to type in my password and just look at phone and it instantly insert the correct password.
Anyways.... sorry about that random rant. Should I
Downgrade to 7.1.1
Odin
ADB
RootJunky
Recovery mode
SideSync
????
I can no longer wait for goggle after they were able to recover an account that I deleted 3-4 weeks ago but they can't recover an account that I "delteted" about a week ago. I tried to create an account with that e-mail and it says the user name is in use. So I believe they are trying to recover it, but I believe I already took it off the Phone SYNC. SO i am going to have to bypass it.
Again the phone I am currently on
CTT (Xfinitiy Mobile) - I heard you can also use Verizon as it uses their towers (but I am not 100%, which is why I am here).
CTT (Xfinity Mobile)
Samsung Galaxy Note 8
8.0.0 OREO
SM-N950USQUCRF3
ISSUE - FRP device protection, I have reset it a total of three times. * this would be the third time
Please if anyone can help me out with this as I am very frustrated with google automatic recovery only option. I can't believe they don't have live chat support or phone support for google account but for other products like drive they do. Absolutely*******
THANK YOU GUYS VERY MUCH IN ADVANCE!
help?
so after verification with xfinitiy mobile and samsung, samsung wants me to send them the device so "THEIR" team can flash the firmware....... can someone help me w this please? I've looked everywhere and it seems like I have to downgrade?
Hi,
Phone was working fine until I got Android update 11 today and even though update is successful, Phone keeps on rebooting every 15 seconds and I don't know how to stop it. I visited Samsung service center and their direct answer was factory reset.
I have some important files in phone and does not have backup. Kindly let me know is there any way I can backup files from phone using Recovery mode or somewhere else.
Any help with be appreciated.
Sad now I don't want to update
Hello all...hoping to get some assistance with this thing. Long story short, debloated it due to horrid battery life and high heat. Everything was great until about a week ago when my settings app go renamed somehow. Tried fixing it but couldn't find the com.android.settings file with the correct signature for my phone (AT&T, US Model, unlocked, not rooted).
It's been working fine except no settings...so I backed up the usual stuff and had plans to do a factory reset this weekend. A few hours ago I picked it up and it went all wonky on me. Upon boot, it comes up to the lock screen and then the screen just starts turning on/off. I'm unable to bring up the passcode screen...but, am able to bring up the power menu by holding the power button. But, can't power down or get into safe mode that way. After about 5 seconds of doing this, it reboots. Rinse and repeat. Safe mode via buttons starts, but, does the same thing.
I am able to get into both recovery mode and download mode though. I can view logs/etc.
Normally, I'd just ***** and moan, then do the factory reset, However, I made one huge oversight when I backed up my data earlier this week and forgot to backup my notes. There's about a dozen of them, pages and pages long with all the medical details regarding my sons illness that I've been tracking for years. It's a nightmare dealing with different Dr's all the time so I've logged it all on the phone. Unfortunately, the best app I've found for it doesn't do cloud storage and keeps them saved as local txt files on the device.
Is there any hope I can somehow pull the files using recovery/download mode or utilize the logs to determine the errors and fix it enough to be able to get them? I'm fairly tech savvy and have ADB installed. I'm super ADD though and my head is just spinning trying to sort through all the possible posts regarding trying to do this...many being for older phones.
Absolute worst case, is there a legitimate service that would be able to do it?
Any help recovering my son's medical notes would be really really appreciated.
Man, i'm so sorry to hear that :/
Sience you have access to recovery, did you try to wipe only cache partition and hit repair apps(also in recovery)?
I'm also using debloated device and i dont have any problems with it
Yeah...that's the first thing I tried after safe mode failed. :\
There's quite a few folks reporting similar issues since the last OTA update a couple weeks ago.
Usually I delay until I get a chance to restore then allow it...this one didn't even give me a chance. I was using my phone when it popped up. No option to remind me later. When I tried to exit it counted down from 10, rebooted and installed.
Thanks for the idea. But, yeah, tried that to already...cleared cache and repaired apps afterwards too. Tried it with cable, tried a 2.0 cable too.
No dice.
The app repair works just fine and then it does the same thing when lock screen tries to appear.
Yeah, I figured that'd be my last shot at it... I've read the horror stories of tripping Knox even with factory firmware.
Was just really hoping there was some way to yank the stuff using recovery or download modes.
I think that you can't trip Knox only when you flash official firmware over unlocked bootloader and custom ROM, but I'm not so sure.
Last time I did that is when I had Samsung Galaxy S2 and flashing official firmware over official firmware and that didn't trip the Knox counter
Does flashing genuine firmware trip knox?
Hi It's been a while since I bothered flashing firmware so I am not upto date with how things work now. My questions are I am currently on 02s version of firmware and would like to go samsungs version so I can take part in things like the one...
Here you can see that flashing official firmware over official firmware(i'm guessing that you are not rooted) won't trip knox counter
