Amazfit GTR 2 infinte loop while connecting to wifi hotspot - Amazfit

Hello guys,
I have an oneplus 5 phone and amazfit gtr 2.
Problem: can not connect to wifi hotspot to upload music.
Trying to connect to a brand new Amazfit GTR 2 to upload music.
After selecting the music in zepp app, when i press upload,
1.watch shows transmitting music
2. Phone shows the name of the device and "connect" option
3. After clicking on connect,
Same pop up with "connect" comes up again.
4. Goes on a loop of pop ups.
5. After a while says " disconnected from device"
PLEASE help out, and suggest me a solution.
TIA

Hello,
Why do you want to upload music via WiFi? I have uploaded mp3 files with Bluetooth from Zepp to watch, and it worked fine.

The watch has only one option for uploading music. And that is through zepp..
Zepp connects to the watch through wifi hotspot. While i try to use zepp to upload music, the watch says transmitting music. But fails every time. That is the issue, do you have a solve please?

Yes, through Zepp. I don't connect also my GTR2 with Zepp but through bluetooth.
In Zepp:
- go to Profile
- My device > Amazfit GTR2
- App settings > Music
- click on Upload music
- a file manager on the phone opens, and then you search for the mp3 on the phone that you upload through Bluetooth.
That's it. I have uploaded several mp3 songs like that. Bluetooth, not Wifi

LOST function/ability to stream media audio via BT to Windows 8 laptop

Hi there
Today I LOST the function/ability to stream media audio via BT to my Windows 8 laptop. Don't know how it really happened, but this was working 100% last Friday, and I would really love to get it back.
I used to be able to connect via BT and stream audio from a video o web music, etc, but somehow I lost this today. I have removed and re-added my S3 to the bluetooth devices many times today and it is still not working. It shows BT successfully connected and I can transfer files both ways, but no longer can I hear anything coming from the S3 via BT.
I have successfully installed the latest working Samsung USB drivers, and still I cannot hear the media via BT.
My best guess is that somehow either the S3 or Windows decided (thru some configuration I haven't found) that my S3 no longer has the function to stream media audio thru BT. My basis for this is that I looked in my S3 BT settings and no longer see a "Use for media audio" checkbox there, but I used to see one. So I paired with a friend's laptop and my S3 BT settings do show this setting for him (also some other input thing I don't care for)
I don't know if this is something I can fix on the S3 or in Windows. Is there some hope for me to get this back?
PS: I think maybe Windows thinks of my S3 now as a BT modem (to share the phone's internet) more than a BT phone (which would include sharing media audio)

When BT is turned on but not connected to your other device the option to tick or un-tick the boxes will not work
I have attached two images, the first with BT on but not connected the second when its connected, if you check yours when you connect to BT and see is the media box is ticked, it should connect automatically but mine un-ticked itself the other day.
If these boxes show as ticked and the device connected then that part is working OK

I am not able to check that box, it doesn't display that option for me.
When I try to click the name of my laptop from the phone to make it connect, it does nothing. Nothing happens. So I also want to check that box and it is not there anymore.
So it seems I'm paired, I can send and receive files, but I cannot "connect" to receive media audio, or connect to even display the option to check it.

Sony Smartwatch connects but there are no notification's on watch.

Hello everyone,
Is anyone else having the same problem like I am having?
Recently purchased Elephone P9000, tried to connect it with my Sony Smartwatch 3 via blue-tooth after installing
android-wear app.
It paired and connected but there is a problem,
The watch says it is connected to the phone, but i don't get any call notification's,
nor any other notification's are coming through.
The music app cannot be controlled from the watch.
I cannot initiate any calls from the phone.
In blue-tooth paired devices my smartwatch shows that it is connected only for contact sharing.
Am i doing anything wrong?
How do i connect my smartwatch to the phone for all notification's.
Please help.
Thanks.
Hello all,
After a lot of frustration of not getting notification's on my Sony smartwatch,
and after playing a lot with the watch, i tumbled upon "Background Task Cleaner" in the Android settings,
I added "Android Wear App" to white-list.
Ree-booted watch and phone,
And lo - behold, I started getting notification's on the smart watch.
So if anyone else has the same problem, feel free to try my way.
Thank You.

Android 6.0 / Bluetooth Share has stopped / Issue with A2DP profile (?)

Hi all,
first post, this issue starts to drive me mad :crying:
My device is a Lenovo C2 (K10a40), not rooted (If BTW anyone knows how to root this device: You're welcome )
I have Bluetooth connections to many devices. My car and my wife's car (Phone Audio and Media Audio) , Raspberry pi (Media Audio, to stream from device to rasppi), a Philips TV with a "built in" Bluetooth speaker, to stream from device to TV, and my Linux PC (Phone Audio and Media Audio), to dial etc. from my pc when sitting at my desk.
ALL of these connections are working fine, except one, to one car:
- When paired for the first time, all worked fine for a long while, days/weeks/months
- No idea why, once and suddenly when re-connecting the device and the car, after some seconds, AOSP standard media app "Music" starts, and again after some seconds, a popup says "Bluetooth Share has been terminated" (or very similar, translated from German msg).
- Car says on radio screen "A2DP has been terminated"
- Both car and device tries infinite to reconnect, same issue
Tried the usual stuff:
- Clearing cache: no change
- Resetting network (and Bluetooth) settings: no change (after painfully adding all WLAN and Bluetooth connections again :crying
- Rebooting both car's radio and android device. no change
I didn't try and really, really, really don't want to try a factory reset, would take me ages to reinstall and reconfigure everything, as I'm not sure if simply restoring a backup after resetting the device will re-introduce the error anyway. I don't want to test it :silly:
What sometimes, whyever only sometimes helps (for a short while, sometimes days) is to drop phone from car's paired devices and vice versa, and re-pair after that.
My question is, could be a deep technical answer if necessary: What on earth triggers the start of the "Music" app, after (re-)connecting both device and car? The Bluetooth crash *** ONLY *** happens, if "Music" app starts. Before first crash "Music" app has NEVER been started. Now, when successfully paired after dropping connections as described, "Music" app does also not start at first. But as soon as "Music" app was used to stream media to car, it's going to start automatically after reconnect. Although if for instance media playback has been terminated before disconnecting, e.g. for listening to radio. For a while then reconnect with automatic start of "Music" app works, and after a while the crashes appear again.
On the other hand, if "Music" app is started automatically after a re-pairing, after dropping connections before, at the first Bluetooth connect, the crash is ALWAYS a result.
I also found out, that if I'm DISABLE A2DP "Media Audio" profile in the connection settings of the android device, connection is stable and "Phone Audio", including adressbooks sychning etc. works fine and stable. But unfortunately not "enough", I need A2DP for navigation audio.
Any hints how to get rid of these "Music" autostarts would be great!

Amazfit GTR 47mm pairing issue.

Hey guys,
I have purchased amazfit gtr 47mm and tried to pair it with my android device (ASUS zenfone max pro m2) running android 9. It tries to connect to it but then try again screen comes up. Then i searched the internet for it and found out that firmware is not supported in 8.1+ android so I connect it with the device running android 6 (Motorola G3) and it connects to it successfully and then I updated the firmware of the watch to the latest version.
Then I unpair the watch from the MOTO device and tried pairing it with mine but it still not able to connect with my device. Them i tried connecting it with the same MOTO device then again it is not able to connect to it.
Please help me connect this watch.

It should pair with yous Asus device no problem. I am using mine with a zuk phone running Android 10 and have no problems pairing.
Make sure to tap on the pairing notification on the watch when trying to pair.
If you can get it paired with one device just download the app on the other device and log in. No need to unpair. Switch off whatever device you don't want to use the watch with and it will work fine with your other device.
By the way if you are going to be using the watch for sports tracking using GPS I'd advise you to send the watch back as soon as possible as the GPS is practically useless on this watch

I have the same problem. But my phone is ASUS Zenfone 4. I cant pair the phone with amazfit app.
What can I do?
I have a Galaxy S9 and have no problem. Try unpairing the bluetooth on the phone. Don't pair the bluetooth, but use the Amazfit app to pair the watch. If you need the normal blue tooth afterward then pair it once paired with the app.
