Hi,
I hope everyone is fine. I have executed following steps:
fastboot flash recovery twrp.img
wipe > factory data reset in twrp mode [ this is done because twrp was not mounting sd card]
after reboot, RESET PHONE option selected
after above commands, mobile is only booting into TWRP. Can anyone please guide how can I fix this? I have only boot.img file.

i tried to put the 2.6 TWRP on i think it was for the incorrect bootloader (10.6.1.8) so its asking for a password and can't mount anything. bootloader freezes whenever i do anything through fastboot .Adb can see the device in twrp .
PLS help !!!
Any one ...any help
What i did to fix this :
use windows 7 not 8.1 install drivers
I used "Minimal ADB and Fastboot" --- google it
and using part of http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=44244313&postcount=12
fastboot erase system
fastboot erase recovery
fastboot erase userdata
fastboot erase boot
fastboot erase misc
fastboot erase cache
fastboot -i 0x0B05 flash system c:\adb\blob --------- gives me an error uploading the blob !!!!!
fastboot -i 0x0B05 reboot ----did not respond --- have to use hardware buttons
When i restart i didn't have recovery at this point just boot in to fastboot menu (i thought i killed my asus totally ))
what i did after :
I FLASH BOOTLOADER ON THE LINK
https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=23060877490002899 (unzipp it and there is blob<--- i copy it in the abd/fastboot folder)
fastboot flash boot blob
reboot and go in to recovery to confirm that is Hairybean TWRP 2.5 (no enter your password any more ihaaa)
i download twrp_tf201t_kang_2.8.5.1_signed.zip (unzipp it and there is boot.blob<--- i copy it in the abd/fastboot folder) from ... https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=95916177934539154
and
fastboot erase recovery
fastboot flash recovery boot.blob
( I found that.... fastboot flash recovery xxxxxxxx ........... works ONLY if you do ..... fastboot erase recovery ......... first !!!!! i tryed flashing even my original twrp 2.4.4 and its asked me for the password again ..i try so many recovery version.....JB or ICS ...TWRP and CWM you name it ..just this and Hairybean TWRP 2.5 didn't asked for a password )
After ... fastboot flash recovery boot.blob ..... fastboot reboot .....worked ---- restart in to recovery ---- and i did not have that annoying "enter your password" msg any more !!!
than using part from :http://forum.xda-developers.com/transformer-prime/development/rom-katkiss-5-1-tf201-22-t3080892
Go to twrp/wipe/format data then type yes
It takes about 70 minutes to format
Make sure that your battery is full
Do Not interrupt format(if you do, it will brick)
After it's done go to Wipe//Advanced Wipe//Select Data
Tap “Repair or Change File System”//”Change File System//F2FS
Swipe to Change
Wipe dalvik cache, system, cache, data, internal storage
reboot in to twrp
At that point MY pc can see my tf201 internal storage in TWRP no problem so i just copy zips in there ....... didn't use sd card
Flash KatKiss-5.1.1_TF201_030.zip
Flash Supersu.zipin
Flash Gapps.zip

Hi everyone!
I'm facing a weird problem: I installed Resurrection Remix again (7.1.1) (it was my main rom) and TWRP started asking for the encryption key (although it was a pattern). I entered into recovery and did a wipe as the system requested.
Then, I realized that the encryption problem went further and I tried
Code:
fastboot format userdata
After that, the bootloader is able to boot just the TWRP recovery.
Then I tried from this link https://forums.oneplus.net/threads/beta-8-encryption-help.479290/page-2:
Code:
fastboot format userdata
fastboot format cache
fastboot format system
fastboot erase recovery
fastboot erase boot
fastboot reboot
fastboot flash recovery <twrp28>
However, nothing changes.
I also tried to do all wipes, to format the data and system partition as EXT4, to reinstall RRemix 7.1.1 a lot of times, and, again, the system can just boot into recovery.
I saw a lot of user with the same problem, however, there is no solution for this problem yet.
OBS: the phone is booting successfully with the command:
Code:
fastboot boot boot.img
And then, after one manual reboot, the bootloader chooses the recovery again. The phone continues to boot into TWRP only.
The Encryption is gone, but I can only boot using this manual mode discovered by @Sompom
https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-3/help/oneplus-3-bootloader-defaulting-to-t3529130
Could someone please help to fix this boot problem?
If there is any information than I can provide, please, let me know.
Thank you!!!

Good morning everybody.
I need some help with my kiw-l21. I've got installed CM13 with stock recovery. I have tried to install TWRP recovery but with no success and I want it to be installed on the device but I can't achieve it. I'm doing: adb reboot bootloader --> fastboot flash recovery twrp.img --> fastboot boot twrp.img and in TWRP, reboot -> recovery but I always get the emui stock recovery. In a friend honor 5x new, I did the same steps and twrp is now installed. Why I can't install TWRP in my device?
Thanks you for all!
Is your bootloader unlocked? Looks like eRecovery is flashing back stock one. And how did you manage to install CM with stock recovery, on B350 it has just "Reboot, Wipe data, Wipe cache" options?

Yes, I have bootloader unlocked. To install CM I did fastboot boot twrp.img. The recovery have: "Reboot system now", "Wipe data/factory reset" and "Wipe cache partition"
OK, try this order and give me feedback:
- adb reboot bootloader
- fastboot flash recovery twrp.img
- fastboot reboot
- adb reboot recovery
Mine worked that way with 0 issues.

Try but emui recovery appear after adb reboot recovery.
BTW I have upgrade CM13 to LOS14.1 and now wifi doesn't work and MAC address is like xx:00:00.... all zeros.
Flash twrp directly by using
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
Hello guys.
I have been in the android world for a while, but just got this device.
I had tried to install twrp with no success. I already have bootloader unlocked by me with no issues, following a tutorial here. When I flash twrp it shows success but when I try to go there ñ, it just goes to miui recovery. When I boot directly from fastboot with:
Fastboot boot twrp.img
It goes there with no issues but of course, data is encrypted. So I want to install it in order to format my data and be able to root. Any ideas?
I researched and found that one way is to install a dev rom, but I really want to remain on stable one.
Thoughts?

Put a copy of twrp.img in your sdcard.
Put other copy of twrp.img in adb folder of your pc.
Type from a cmd with admin rights with device in fastboot mode connected to pc fastboot boot twrp.img and when you reboot to twrp slide allowing modifications and then flash your twrp.img through same twrp recovery
The first command will do that device can boot to twrp but it´ll not flash it in recovery partition.
The second action will flash it permanently onto your device.
Probably you´ll need to format data in order to can reboot to system again.

Thanks! I solved it after taking a look for a while. I do not have an sdcard, so I flashed it and then fastboot booted it, then I reboot recovery to make sure it was flashed and then formatted data. I worked flawlessly!
I am attempting to root a moto g6 following procedure described in a guide on howtogeek named "how-to-root-your-android-why-you-might-want-to".
I successfully unlocked the bootloader, rebooted, copied SuperSU zip file to the internal storage, reentered fastboot, flashed TWRP with the platform-tools command
>fastboot flash recovery twrp.img
and opened TWRP (by entering recovery mode). However, TWRP can't decrypt my phone data no matter how many times I enter my password. On the other hand, there is the following clue on TWRP webpage for moto g6:
>Notes: Currently only vold decryption is working. This image must be flashed to properly decrypt. If you format data (Not just factory reset) after decrypting you must reboot into recovery and format again.
How do I know which type of encryption my phone is using and how do I switch it to vold encryption (if that's what is going to fix the issue)? Alternatively, can I cancel mounting data and just install SuperSU?
@digofr
TWRP isn't needed at all to install SuperSU Zip, Stock Recovery and a working ADB connection is sufficient
