Activate Note 4 with another google account - Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 Questions & Answers

Hello. I have a Note 4 and a Note 9s. I switched to the 9s and gave my father the Note 4. I erased the cellphone (using the Volum UP key when rebooting). And now when I try to active the Note 4 it asks me for a google account. Since its my dad's phone I entered HIS email and the following message appears "please active with the owner emails". After fiddling arround it says please activate with MY CELLPHONE NUMER's emails. So a friend said: maybe its still connected with the Mi Account. So yea, I got into my Note 9s, on my Device's list it showed still the Note 4. So I removed it. Started the process again (language, region, etc) and then it says: PLEASE INSERT EMAIL. And the same message appears "please active with the owner emails".
I could enter it with MY email since both devices are mine, but I dont wanna screw things up and erase my Note 9s and have to reconfigure everything again.

This is because you didn't delete the google account before resetting. (Sometimes it asks for the address of the previous account).
Enter the correct email address then delete the Google account, restart and reset the phone.

How can I do so ? I think its the Mi Account. Because after Reset with the + volume button and reset to factory settings, after reboot it says that the device is linked to XXX phone number and please insert a password ( the password is the Mi Account password)

Disable or remove account verification at First boot

I've bought a redmi note 3 (MTK) used (with box), and this mobile phone has been registered by the seller and today is associated to his mi account.
I've made a full factory reset, and at fist boot the miui identify that the phone is already associated to a mi account, and, obviously I haven't credential to login and it's not possible to change the account in this phase.
Is there any way to remove this association or to disable the account verification? Or does exists any fastboot flashable roms that doesn't have account verification?
The mobile phone has the bootloader locked and so doesn't have twrp.
I'm not able to contact the old proprietary of the phone and ask him to remove the phone from his account.
Thank you all

My pocco f1 device locked after beta update miui 10 8.11.15 ...how to unlock.

I updated Poco F1 with MIUI 10.1 over standard OTA update. After the update, it asked for my encryption password. When I enter it, it said password was correct, but data was corrupted, so I needed to reset the device (It only had reset button). I tapped the reset button.
After the reset, I was asked Mi Account password because the device was associated with a Mi Account. Fine. I connected with WiFi and logged in with Mi Account successfully.
Now, the setup began. During the setup process, it is asking for a numeric pin. The title of the screen says "Re-enter your password". What should I enter here? The keyboard that opens is a number pad, so I can't enter other characters. My previous device password was not fully numeric. My Mi account password is also not numeric. My Google account password is also not numeric. What should I enter here?
Please help out me. I have single phone and I am stuck
If your password was a pattern and not a pin, then just imagine the numeric pad numbers as dots of the patterns lock screen then press the numbers on this numeric pad accordingly to draw your pattern using these numbers.

During the setup process, it will asked for Google account, skip it, then will asked you to activate mi account if you had previously login to miui.

Thank you for reply. Before asking Google account it is asking MI account login and I logged in successfully with MI account credentials. After MI login then asking google account, I skipped this steps the asking re-enter password pin.

Unable to access MI Account even if the password is right

Hello guys, this is my first post so please forgive me if I'm gonna ask a dumb question.
My situation is I switched from OTA beta ROM to the MIUI 10 stable ROM after it resets my phone the first screen that pops up was "This device is locked" / "This device is associated with an existing MI Account. For security reasons, you need to enter the password to verify the device".
Heres what I did.
1. I open the wifi settings to sign in to my wifi connection
2. I click to the "Activate this device" button. Then it put me where I should put the password. Note: there's no tab or box for the username or MI Account ID.
3. I entered the password of my MI Account. Note: I save it on my computers sticky note so I'm sure I entered the right one.
After those 3 steps, the system says "Couldn't verify MI account ID. Invalid username or password.". So at first I was puzzled so tried to do it 3 times and I turned off the hide password function to make sure that im entering the right password. But after many times of trying, I still can't log in. Then I tried going to "Forget Password".
Heres what happened.
1. It asks me the email address that I used for my MI Account.
2. After I submitted it, it says that they will send an Account Verification Code to my email. Note: I did change the password for my MI Account before this incident so I'm sure that I'm using the same email address on my MI Account.
3. Then I went to my email account but I didn't receive any email after checking everything i.e "Spam and etc.".
4. I thought I did a mistake so I tried it again(Sending the verification code to my Email) but I still received nothing to the point that I've used all my attempts and I can't do it again for 24hrs.
So I tried to log in my MI Account on my desktop because I always save the passwords on the browser to check if I can log in or I cant. So when after trying it says the same thing that the password is incorrect. So I went on my browsers setting and went to "Password" and there I found the saved "Password for my MI Account". So when I turned off the hide password function it shows me that the password I entered on my phone is the same password saved on my computer's browser for my MI Account. So I tried to click the password on my computer's browser hoping that it will direct me to my mi account webpage, But after clicking it, it sends me to an empty page with this "{"result":"error","reason":"expires_in参数不能为空","code":10016,"description":"缺失必选参数"}" .
I really don't know what to do. I tried doing the hard reset option. I wiped my data and then Reboot my device. But even after doing all that it always sends to the "This device is locked".
Im really out of ideas this is my only phone so I was really a bit frustrated and stressed out for not being able to use it. So id like to ask for your guy's help. I hope you can help me with my problem. Even if not I still want to thank you all for spending time to read my post.
I'm having the same problem, did you get a solution?
And I'm having the same problem with my brand new Redmi Note 8 Pro. I think I've changed my password almost 10 times but still, the problem persists.
After setting a super easy passwrod like "J12345678" my problem solved! xiomi really sucks!

Samsung Lock after Hard Reset

Hi!
I think of rooting my phone, that's why I post here, I am not a developer at the moment but I have an issue I think you can help me with.
I hown a Samsung S6 Edge (I think G-925F). I did a hard reset from within a shut-off phone, Before I wiped the cache (in Recovery Mode), and both the Samsung account and the Google account have been active, as far as I know.
1) Getting into the Recovery Mode contained an error:
I press the buttons to get there, afterwards the Andoird Logo appears, Installing System Update message is shown, and a while later an error:
No Command
But after waiting for about 15 seconds the Recovery Mode is entered. Anything to think about here?
This issue still remains after the hard reset, but the Recovery Mode is entered always.
2) Main Problem:
I want to set my phone up again, but I am prompted to enter my Samsung credentials (Samsung Account, not Google).
I cannot skip. I entered the right (!) credentials. Just a message "in process" and "logging in", but after that nothing happens, idle.
I can log into my Samsung Account from my notebook, I have 2-Factor-Authentication(2FA) activated (cannot deactivate there).
At first my S6 edge was recognized there as logged in device, even though I could not move forward in the S6 setup with the credentials. I changed the password, just to be sure, now it is not even recognized as a logged in device, maybe because of the changed password?
The code for the 2FA is sent to my SIM card on my iPhone.
I also put this SIM card into the S6, but I did not get any code for the 2FA.
I was connected both via WiFi and LTE to get through the Samsung Login on the S6.
What can I do? Any Bypass? Rooting mandatory?
Thanks!
no idea?

Question Blocked Mi 11 Lite

Hi. Yesterday evening I decided to debloat the Mi 11 Lite phone using the ADB console. Unfortunately, I did not notice that the phone was logged in to the xiaomi account and probably because of that I cannot unlock the phone now (I deleted the Mi Account and Mi Cloud apps, among others). I now have a black screen with a padlock and a choices:
- activate the device
- wifi settings
and below is some unlock code that I do not know where to enter.
After selecting "activate the device" I have to enter the password to the xiaomi account. Unfortunately, after entering the password, the phone locks up again after a second, even though the password is correct. I logged into my xiaomi account via www on my computer and removed the device from the list (there was only one to choose from) but that didn't help either.
I wanted to reinstall deleted apps via adb, but can't - adb can't see the device, probably developer options have been disabled.
Windows also does not see the device, I cannot download photos, etc. So the device is visible, but after entering the phone icon it is empty.
What can I do? The phone wipe is really the last resort
There are two ways to unlock account lock
One way
Operate directly on this phone
1. Click "wifi settings" to connect a wifi or insert a SIM card
2. Click "activate the device" and enter the password of your Xiaomi account
3. Click the Activate button
Another way
Operate on the Xiaomi cloud service website
1. Log in to your Xiaomi account on this website
2. Click "Find My Device"
3. Tap your locked device
4. Click the "three dots" on the top right
5. Click "Turn off Find Device"
6. Click "wifi settings" to connect a wifi or insert a SIM card
7. If the device still appears locked, try restarting the device
Hi.
Thank you for time in helping me.
The first solution doesn't work for me. As I mentioned filling the correct password unlocks the phone only for one second. Second solution doesn't work either. I see location of the phone on the map, but there is no "turn off find my device" option. Instead there is "turn on" option
UPDATE!
Although there was "turn on option" in find my device section, I clicked it and phone location has been turned off! And then instantly the phone was unlocked! Thank you very much.
what if I forgot my password and I can't connect to MI cloud and the above screen is still on the home screen?
how, in that case, to activate the phone regardless of the fact that I don't have to save the account?

I was able to use my second phone, where I also had Mi Accounts enabled, to change my forgotten password .
To authenticate, Xiaomi sent me the code by SMS to my previously registered phone number:
Bootloop Fastboot (stock) / Phone locked for security reason (Xiaomi.eu)
Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE (Lisa) Stock 12.5.8 EEA Bootloader unlocked, Orange Fox recovery and Magisk Canary 25.2 I was running the same set-up for a couple of months, by only updating when newer Magisk was released or some module. I never had any...

You could probably also try to login via PC, and there should be a usual option like I forgot my password, that Xiaomi send you a link to your previously registered mail address, with a token to authenticate and for changing your password
thanks for the reply
