I bought this tab but there were few probs int he tab i called customer support they told me to reinstall the fw and the instructions were like this
"1) Turn-off the tablet.
2) Press and hold the 'Volume +' button and connect the USB cable to the tablet and to your desktop/laptop. Now press the power button 10 times continually.
3) PC will show a message "Found new hardware". The drivers have to be installed manually. The drivers are located in the "Drivers" folder.
5) Run "AX01-tool.exe" located in the "Update Tool" folder and follow the procedures. When prompted to select the image file, select the file "AX01-20120615.img" located in the "Image" folder.
6) Once the initial setup wizard is complete. Disconnect the USB cable and reconnect to the tablet.
7) The PC will prompt you to confirm the initialization of the upgrade and format, select "YES" to continue. Once confirmed the update process will start.
8) Once the update is completed the tablet will automatically switch to charging mode.
9) Turn on the tablet to complete the finalize the update process. The initial boot will be slow and it will take a few minutes for all the application to get installed.
-> Perform the above process ONLY when your Tablet is connected to charger.
-> Do NOT press Cancel or Disconnect the Tablet from desktop/laptop during the update process."
But im not able to connect the tab lyk that to my pc and im unable to install the usb drivers and from this morning tab is not starting up.....
plz help me...........

I am having the auxus ax01 and would like to reinstall the firmware.. I feel the touch screen is not very responsive / giving me false clicks

Dear ,
For connecting the tablet to your desktop ,you canuse (pdanet desktop).just google it and download it.you can also use it for rooting purpose.
And also please provide the link from where you downloaded this firmware file,please,because my ax01 just stuck on booting,due to rooting,and they where telling that rooting void the warranty.so please provide me the link as soon as possible.

if u hav the files provided by iberry then its gd if u dnt then let me noe i will provide u the link
so after turning off ur tablet u will find a small hole rght nxt to mini hdmi port press and hold it with a use of pin and then connect it with ur pc(while holding the button)
after that install the usb drivers manually and rest u can find up in my post............

I'm creating this thread as an alternative to *New Threads* that aim to resolve a question.
Not only this, this thread can also become a Database kind of place where people can look if their question is already solved or not...
I request all members of the XPERIA M4 sub-forum to help and answer some questions posted here if they can.
I hope you guys get the idea behind this thread...

Wifi problem
I've just bought this phone and the wifi signal is not strong enought.
With other phones the wifi signal is strong but this phone doesnt get the wifi network.

I have tried out MyXperia (a security program of Sony) and then, i restar my phone, it asked me to authorize by log in Google account which i had set up MyXperia before. When i tried to log in, it said "Incorrect username and/or password". Everytime i restart, i can live for 15 second and then, it locked me out. I did factory reset but it still there althought my device wiped all my data. So now, i have been locked out of my M4 and have 15 second to stay alive everytime i restart
Please anyone help me with this I bring it to Sony Center for guarantee service but they said they can didnot have anything for M4 at this time to fix this.
Please help me, i need my phone for keep in touch with people!

Have you tried logging into MyXperia from a PC , changing your password, and then logging in using the phone with the new, correct credentials?

it required to log in Google account, not the password. In MyXperia from PC i can log in, but not in my phone.

Maybe try Flashtool and re-install the firmware. That may help to wipe the protected partition?

I'm having some trouble after trying to root my H860, so for now I can't access Media at all (Camera and stuff say they can't access the internal storage, maybe a problem occured with the kerneldebug).

After a lot of searching, waiting and struggling, I managed to successfully upgrade from 6.0.1 (v10h) to 7.0 (v20t) and then 8.0 (v30a) with the help of a friend by OTA method.
I have TOT firmwares for H820.
1. H82010h (6.0.1)
2. H82020t (Last update of 7.0)
3. H82030a (8.0)
Which firmware you want?
If I got some positive response, I will be posting them on XDA for free for everyone.
Note: All 3 files have been read from my own phone by myself with a professional tool.

I would prefer uploading the 8.0 firmware because it fixes many bugs in the 7.0, alongside the excessive battery usage from Mobile Data and Cell Signal! Improvement to audio quality and volume and Bluetooth cutting bug ^^ Thank you in advance you hero lol ^^
I can't confirm if H820 allows to write firmware readed from other phone as some new LG phones allows to flash only LG signed firmwares.
I don't wanna make problem to anyone's device.
I've checked on my own phone and that is working but I can't guarantee to anyone.

Whatever happens happens bro. Need to update, really. Also if there is no specific device ID in the firmware files and settings, then there is no risk
If you are afraid of breaking our devices, atleast tell us how to update outside AT&T Network please

I actually took my mobile to the repair (those who flash the phone using a box from the motherboard), 5 days and still struggling with it.
