Hello, is there any possible way to install android 12 beta GSI on Galaxy A10? The only method I come across is fastboot which is just bringing me to download mode which will not work for installing.

BRO I found the solution.
Ok first clean to install a new ROM in twrp.
I mean wipe system and data and cache. Now switch twrp to install image mode and choose "system.img" flash it as system.
And flash this after it. The dm verification disabler. BUT make sure you have some empty space in internal storage. [About 5GB or smth] clean up space. Tell me your results after doing this. Here is file [check attachments] I'm 50% sure it gonna work. Plz tell me results.
Edit: NVM I tested it people was saying it works it doesn't. So read next post.

Ok bro the dm verify not gonna work.
You must do the following commands people tried before and it worked.
First put your device in recovery.
Make sure to enable USB debugging.
Then if you can't boot to recovery simply when device is on type command:
and reboot recovery
And it will reboot you to recovery.
Clean the system and other stuff such as data.
TWRP supports adv commands btw
Simply type and reboot bootloader or just reboot to download mode ._ .
Now you gotta type command:
fastboot devices
If you see your device listed type comman
fastboot flash system SYSTEM://IMAGE/LOCATION.IMG
Then when done.. [gsi comes with vbmeta file]
Do this command:
fastboot flash vbmeta VBMETA://IMAGE/LOCATION.IMG
then just do this command:
fastboot reboot
Tell me results.

Yes me too. I thought my device was broken but smasungs does not support fastboot. It is impossible to install gsi using fastboot in a smasung device. Instead you can wait for a developer to release android 12 ROM.

Hi Guys,
I'm trying to add root access to my Miui 8.1 global rom but my volume up key doesn't work so I can't go into recovery to do this. Does anyone know of another way?
Much appreciated
Assuming your TWRP image file is named TWRP.img and it's in your current directory, try
Code:
fastboot boot TWRP.img
That should reboot your device reading the image from your PC.
Make any adjustment to the above command according to your twrp image file name.
This just installs TWRP which I've already done. I need to be able to boot into it.

Which commands do you use? Locking and unlocking the bootloader should have nothing to do with the version of Android you have installed

Probably you installed an old version of the adb/fastboot drivers.
Download the sdk from here https://developer.android.com/studio/releases/platform-tools and extract the files in the adb folder in the volume (C

You are still using old version of fastboot. Either search&replace fastboot.exe in all locations on your hard drive, or remove fastboot folder from Windows PATHS.

Use the proper twrp built for Android 10 from here https://forum.xda-developers.com/mi...y-unoffical-twrp-xiaomi-mi-a3-t3987759/page16
The twrp.img you used only works on Android 9.
Twrp.zip will work on any Android version so once you flash the correct .img then you can reboot recovery and if you want install twrp by flashing twrp.zip

To get rid off of TWRP you flash Stock Recovery.
I think the correct command sequence is
Code:
adb reboot
adb devices
adb reboot bootloader
fastboot devices
fastboot flash recovery <STOCK-RECOVERY-IMAGE-FILE>
fastboot reboot-bootloader
fastboot erase cache
fastboot reboot
Search for the appropriate Stock Recovery image by yourself. GIYF ...
If you instead want to re-flash Stock ROM then the correct command sequence would be
Code:
adb reboot
adb devices
adb reboot bootloader
fastboot devices
fastboot flash-all <STOCK-ROM-IMAGE-FILE>
fastboot reboot
Try going back to stock (Fastboot/download mode/Odin, depending on the device)
Thank You!
I have successfully went to fastboot mode and flashed the stock rom! Thank you for your support!! ?? The phone is working now in the Android 7.
BUT,
now if i install twrp custom recovery, i don't know what happens, after restarting to system i cannot boot to system , it just shows the boot animation and just goes off or sometimes it boots to fastboot mode.
then if i flash the stock rom again using the sd card in the the default recovery mode after flashing that stock recovery, it works again.
Also if I install TWRP recovery, TWRP could not install any Roms ! it just says that Updater process ended with error 6 or 7 randomly.
So, how do I install custom recovery and roms in it now?

Assumed the TWRP.IMG you use is the correct one, then there is no need to install TWRP recovery, booting into it is fully enough - this will preserve device's Stock Recovery
Code:
fastboot devices
fastboot boot <TWRP.IMG>
The TWRP is booting perfectly! But if I install any zip file i.e ROM or Mods, it says that Updater process ended with error 6 or 7!!
This is the problem with TWRP.
And, if install TWRP in the phone, then restart the phone , if I restart to system, it doesn't work ,just it shows the boot animation and turns off.

This is not TWRP recovery related, but it's related to the Custom ROM zip-file you try to flash: The ROM zip-file you try to flash isn't made for your device.

Hey XDA!
On Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G (renoir) after flashing stock firmware, re-unlocking bootloader, etc
Following these steps,
1: Boot into fastboot
2: Doing fastboot flash vbmeta vbmeta.img
3: Doing fastboot reboot fastboot to enter fastbootd
4: Doing fastboot flash system dotOS-R-v5.2-arm64-ab-GAPPS-OFFICIAL.img
5: Doing fastboot -w
6: Doing fastboot reboot
Booting into system, I see Mi Logo for a second, then I'm kicked back into bootloader (fastboot), no GSI has worked except for the one here.
I'd love some help, and I apologize for not being very verbose, I would love to get GSIs working on this phone so I'm going to respond as soon as I can with any information regarding.
I don't install TWRP because Nebrassy's TWRP, while functional. Is completely useless for fastbootd, which ruins any troubleshooting opportunities.

i wanted to flash a custom ROM. to unlock bootloader with adb with adb reboot recovery the phone just reboot. developer settings enabled. OEM USB debbuging too. but there is no advanced reboot option in settings. help it's my first time doing this.
I faced the same issue after OOS 12
What i did to fix this issue was i went back to Oos 11 using msm tool and then unlocked bootloader then flash custom rom.
If it is your first time doing all this maybe you will find it difficult to use msm tool so follow a good videk guide on youtube and then try this.
