phone?

the above mentioned model.

Greetings, @su2674raj
The answer is simple!
"Flash stock ROM"
There is a way to flash the firmware again. First unlock your bootloader
Requirements: A PC of course, A working USB cable, your A10, unlocked bootloader, Odin 3 or Higher, and a mind, some patience.
I am not responsible for bricking your device.
This is how to unlock bootloader. I just chooses a random YouTube video I don't own any content I WILL SEND.
Galaxy A series bootloader unlock:
Downloading "Samsung Odin"
Then download "Samsung Odin" to your PC. I prefer latest version.
Odin download link: https://odindownload.com/
Galaxy A10 firmware
Then download the Samsung Galaxy A10
firmware.
Galaxy A10 firmware: https://samfrew.com/fr/download/Galaxy__A10__/f4ji/PAK/A105FDDU3BTF1/A105FOJM3BTF1/
You can back if this isn't your A10 version and choose another one from the site bellow.
Now shut your A10 down. (To shut it down just hold volume down and power for more than 10 seconds. Now hold both volume keys while device is off... Then connect USB cable. Allow the download mode thing. And when it say "downloading" you will see a yellow thing appears in "Odin" tool.
Now... Unzip the firmware and open Odin.
The files inside the zip will start with something like this
A file will start with "BL" at the beggining so obviously load it in the "BL" section in odin
The one starts with "AP" will be putten in the AP section. Etc.
Warning!
The "AP" might take some time to load. It might say it's not responding but just wait for it. You are loading 2GB firmware.
After loading all the files simply click start. That's all! Wait for it and it will reboot . I hope this be helpful for you.
TROUBLESHOOTING SOME ISSUES!!!
If you connected your phone in download mode to PC but you didn't see yellow colour that means you have to install "Samsung galaxy USB drivers" from online.
After flashing... (Clicking start) if it finished and the ROM said Invaild... You have to get another firmware from another site (use a YouTube video I
recommend)
if the Odin stuck on "setup connection" for more than one minute that means you have to click "reset" then close Odin and restart your mobile to download mode again and start everything again.
TIPS!!
In "Odin" if you filled all the required files in thier right section there might be a section without a file in it. Just skip it
Consider installing twrp recovery for easier ROM flashing (without a PC!)
Android 11 ARM64 LINEAGE OS 18.1 is unofficially out for our galaxy A10. It can be flashed using the twrp recovery. The twrp can be flashed uising Odin.

Thanks all i will try it and let you know the outcome of the same.

OTA Update turned Galaxy Pocket Boot Loop

Help Please?
I had my Galaxy Pocket rooted and got the Jellyblast v3 rom, it was doin fine until I checked on the app OTA and check for update, a new update appeared which is the Nemesis 2.5 Hybrid-Holo Editon. It asked me to download it and so I did. When it was done, it asked me if I wanted to install it and so I did, and rebooted. Later I noticed that it was already boot looping. I tried pulling the battery off and to clockwork mode, with the proper procedure..the holds and presses, but still it just kept boot looping. Tried to connect it to the PC using the USB chord and yet it just shows the charging icon and sooner it turns to white. I tried Kies but still it turned white screen all over again; no device found.
Can someone PLEASE help me with this one? PLEASE, PLEASE guys? I know you guys are knowledgable on these kind of issues. :crying:

I also received the same message and downloaded the update file. when ask to Reboot & Install i selected install the device booted in CWM and i selected update from .zip and selected the downloaded file in OTA Download Folder.
The update was successful, yet the ROM looks in BETA version.
Following are the issues i am currently facing in the updated ROM
1. Gallery ICS was Force Closed, later it was solved via uninstalling update.
2. Quick Panel, Nemesis Hub, Nemesis Owner Info & Nemesis Sound Boosters are giving FC messages.
3. OTA is giving INVALID ROM Message while updating.
I´m having the same issues.
After downloading and installing the OTA update, my device is keep stucking in the boot loop.
When I do to the recovery, I always get automatic update with the update.zip, which means I can't get into the full recovery to select another functional image.
Well I hope it's not bricked. Is there a sollution?
Thanks
I have repaired that throught ODIN MODE, like described here:

For all the SGY Users who are facing issues after updating Jellyblast 3.5 to Nemesis (I faced it too) here is the guide to recover your phone:-
First to repair your phone you have to flash stock rom via odin .
Here's the guide for Flashing Stock Rom via Odin
Requirement: 1. A Samsung Galaxy y phone model gt-s5360.
2. A computer running on windows xp, vista, win7 or win8 with proper USB driver installed to connect your phone to computer {If you have not installed USB Driver for Samsung Galaxy Y then to Install USB Driver}
3. Stock Rom file : you can download stock rom according to your choice and region from the xda thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1465800e
4. download ODIN: 1 .85.(google it as i cannot post outside links)
Installation Instruction : [ Charge your phone battery min 80%]
1. Download the required file Odin AND Stock Rom. zip and place in a folder on your desktop .
2. Now extract both with any file extractor.-- Odin v1 .85 .zip and the stock rom zip( file which contains the stock rom i. e 2 .3 .6 )
After that extract Stock Rom file after unzipping you will get three files :
PDA _S5360 _DDLK2.tar,
MODEM_ S5360 _DDLK2.tar &
CSC_S 5360 _DDLK2 .tar
3. Now turn off your Galaxy Y {Remove the battery for 5 -10 seconds and insert it back }
4. Go to Download Mode by Pressing Volume down + Home + Power for 5- 10 sec to boot in Download Mode
5. Now you entered in Download mode select continue by pressing Volume up button .
6. Now attach/ connect your phone to computer via USB cable .
7. Now on your computer open Odin v 1 .85. exe
8.Now make sure you are getting yellow box in ID:COM ( this means that your device is now connected and detected by odin )
9.Now Select those 3 files u download before
PIT - "totoro_0623.pit"
BOOTLOADER - "BOOT" file.
PDA - "PDA" file.
PHONE - "MODEM" file.
CSC - "GT-s5360- MULTI-CSC" file.
10.Now clik on start .
And let be ODIN do its work and wait till you see PASS in green colour it mean the flashing process is complete successfully . Samsung
11.Remove your phone from pc 12.Galaxy Y will auto reboot .
Now if you want to install nemesis Rom, you have to install the nemesis Rom 2.0 (Nemesis Titanium) first and than you should update the Rom by downloading the update file via OTA and flashing the zip file through CWM.
I hope my suggestion will solve your problem.
Did you wipe data and wipe catch before installing ROM??
Did you try flashing original ROM with Odin or others??

IT STILL DOES NOT WORK! I flashed the device, and this is what i get every time! WHAT AM I DOING WRONG?

[Q] BOOTLOOP No Normal or Recovery Boot/ Downloader works/ Odin does not detect on PC

Phone specs:
Samsung Galaxy S3 Verizon SCH-i535
It was already running KitKat 4.4.2 before I rooted
This is my first time rooting and flashing ROMs to my Samsung Galaxy s3 and I have bricked it. I'm pretty sure it can be salvaged but have yet to find anything that works.
I have written the long version for those who need it, but the short version is that I screwed up and can no longer boot into recovery mode or normal mode, I'm not even sure if Download mode is working, and my device isn't recognized by Kies or Odin on my PC so I cannot yet do a recovery from there.
As of now my phone only boots into Odin Mode and gives the following info:
ODIN MODE
PRODUCT NAME: SCH-I535
CURRENT BINARY: SAMSUNG OFFICIAL
SYSTEM STATUS: OFFICIAL
QUALCOM SECUREBOOT: ENABLE
BOOTLOADER AP SWREV: 2
and displays the yellow triangle error and says: Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please use Software repair Assistant & try again.
I tried to use Samsung Kies which has an emergency firmware tool but my device will not connect and become recognized by the program.
This is pretty much where I'm stuck.
Keep reading if you need additional info.
Steps leading up to problem:
I was able to Root the device succesfully
I then downloaded the latest CM11 package (cm-11-20140217-NIGHTLY-d2vzw.zip) and Gapps
I also downloaded the TWRP recovery img (openrecovery-twrp-2.7.1.0-d2vzw.img)
Once I had these downloaded I got the app [ROOT] Rashr - Flash Tool
I opened the app and tried to do a backup but I'm pretty sure it failed, or at least it said it failed. I couldn't find out how to check, but was not worried since I have already backed up my important files to the verizon cloud.
On the app I went to recover using other file and found the TWRP recovery img I downloaded.
From here I booted into recovery manually, but it did not bring up the TEAMWIN screen for TWRP like I've seen in other video tutorials so I rebooted into normal mode went to the Rashr app again and followed the prompt to do a Recovery boot using the TWRP img.
THIS IS WHERE THE PROBLEMS BEGAN:
It began to lead into recovery mode but it gave a message that said something along the lines that I have tried installing a custom OS and to take my phone to the nearest verizon store.
I turned it off and tried to boot back normally but got the same error.
I tried to boot into Download mode and was successful! So I thought yaay!
Read a tutorial to reload a stock version of android here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2586319
I followed all the steps but when i got to 7. which said You should see your phone under ID:COM (you should also see it has been added in message) I was not seeing my phone there. I figured it may be OK since I was able to install the drivers so that meant the USB was working so I went ahead and ran Odin to recover Jelly Bean 4.3 onto the device.
My thoughts and guesses as to what the problem is:
I think that it may be because I was already running 4.4.2 and/ or didn't have the proper bootloader when I tried to do the TWRP recovery.
Am I on the right track? Thanks for any help!
Please ask. In correct forum this is int'l s3 (i9300) forum

I have encountered a similar incompatibility trying to use the SM-J100H TWRP recovery onto a SM-J100Y handset. Trying to boot into recovery after doing this freezes it, and I have to power it off to get out of it.
It looks like some further development is needed to create a compatible Rom/TWRP image that wont brick the SM-J100Y.

Comparing the 2 models on here (I can't post links...) mobosdata.com/samsung-galaxy-j1-sm-j100y and mobosdata.com/samsung-galaxy-j1-sm-j100h, the hardware differences are:
RAM: J100y-768MB ; J100H-512MB
SIM: J100y=Single SIM ; J100H=Dual SIM
Network: J100y=3G 850, 900, 2100 MHz, as well as 4G 700, 900, 1800, 2100, 2600 MHz ; J100H=3G 900, 2100 MHz
NFC: J100Y=yes ; J100H=No
Hotspot: J100Y=yes ; J100H=No
AudioRecording: J100Y=yes ; J100H=No
I just wanted to install TWRP. Does anyone know if you need to unlock the bootloader for that using Odin? I would not have thought so, but I could be wrong.
Rooting SM-J100Y
'J100YDXU0AOC1_root.tar' image by Hosam Kashto (Password "hosamkashto") does indeed work for rooting my SM-J100Y but i fail to connect to my network Skinny, if there is a way to edit the image and make a boot img for the updated firmware version i'll be willing to give it a shot. And how hard is it to create a TWRP/CWM rom for this device?
root access successful
I have successfully rooted my samsung J100Y with no issues what so ever, J100YDXU0AOC1.
You need to install kingoroot on your phone first then install kingoroot on your PC, Also install ODIN V3.07 on your PC to get this done properly, when I get home I will upload the files to my dropbox and give better details how to do this correctly.
How To Root Samsung Galaxy J1
This is how you root the Samsung Galaxy J1 (J100YDXU0AOC1) Australia.
- Install Kingoroot on your phone
- Install both Kingoroot and Odin V3.07 on your PC (in the files provided below)
- Put your phone into download mode, power off the phone then hold down power, home and volume down until you see the little android robot
- Open Odin V3.07 and plug your phone in
- Click on PDA in Odin V3.07 and navigate to the file J100YDXU0AOC1_root.tar and press Start (let it work its magic)
- When it says Pass in Odin you are good to go, now open Kingoroot on your PC and run it, it will make sure it is properly rooted, your phone will tell you it is rooted before the PC version does, that's it you have now successfully rooted your phone.
I have included the original firmware in the files just in case something goes wrong for you, you can use Odin to restore with the original firmware.

i got root j100y. took 2 days but got it. Flash J100YDXU0AOC1_OPPOAOC1_V4.4.4_Repair_Firmware.zip. Unzip and find necessary files. Used odin3 13.3.1 latest version, insert files BL, AP and so from the zip. If its taking too long more than 20 mins, power off phone and back on but dont unplug from pc. Should start where it left off. Now, set up phone when it reboots, settings, about phone, tap build number 5 times, enter developer mode, enable usb debug, allow installations from unknown sources. Down apk kingoboot, install on phone. one click root. Device should reboot. Now check root with an app. Should be done if not run kingoroot on pc. Keep trying and follow any prompts on phone always allow and install anyway etc. It is possible.

Wait, so that means you CAN go into download mode?
If you can, you have to do the following:
The only solution to this is to flash the stock firmware with Odin.
DISCLAIMER: I WILL NOT HOLD ANY RESPONSIBILITY IN THE EVENT THAT THIS HARD BRICKS YOUR DEVICE. FOLLOW MY INSTRUCTIONS AT YOUR OWN EXPENSE!
Now that's out of the way, let's get to it.
The only problem is, the sites that host stock firmware images have download throttling and you need to sign up. If you're willing to sign up and wait a couple of hours, you can try this:
https://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/galaxy-core-prime/SM-G360H/
Firstly, you will want to download the file. Just select your mobile carrier's country (for example, if you used O2 in the UK, it'd be O2U or O2 (just an example)), then select the download link.
You'll need to sign up, though.
Once it's downloading, in the meantime, get Odin from here if you don't already have it:
https://odindownload.com/download/Odin3_v3.12.3.zip (latest as of the writing of this post)
and, if you don't already have them, USB Drivers from here:
http://developer.samsung.com/galaxy/others/android-usb-driver-for-windows (I didn't need them, but I advise you to use them)
Install the USB drivers first (if needed), then extract the Odin zip.
Now, you need to wait until the firmware finishes downloading.
Then, extract the firmware ZIP.
The firmware should have G361F followed by a load of random letters and numbers and have the extension .tar.md5 or .tar
Now, fire up Odin and boot your device into download mode.
Press Volume Up at the custom OS warning screen.
Now, connect your Android device to your computer and wait until Odin shows [Added!!] and your device appears as [COM:] something.
Now, click AP (or PDA) and browse to the firmware and select it.
Wait until Odin shows [Leave CS].
Now, I warn you, flashing a stock OS usually saves all your data because it only needs to flash the system files. HOWEVER, in semi-rare cases, it WILL wipe your data (but very unlikely and rare)
Here is your last chance to chicken out and leave it for now. It should be fine, though, if you followed the instructions correctly.
Now, click START in Odin and sit back, relax and DO NOT DISCONNECT YOUR DEVICE FROM THE COMPUTER until your phone reboots and (hopefully) boots up to Android!
If you can't access Download Mode or Fastboot mode, I'm sorry but you're stuffed as far as I know.

Tutorial for downgrading to 4.3 jellybean

FLASHING STOCK JELLYBEANHey guys, i have seen that a lot of people want to downgrade to jellybean 4.3 and facing a "fail" in Odin. so i'm creating this thread to overcome that problem.
Most importantly, clear the data of your phone before you flash the stock JellyBean. Otherwise you will face a bootloop.
Step-1: Download the following required files.
(All links are from my AndroidFileHost account so you dont have to login for any kind of websites)
Samsung USB drivers(for G7102 only): https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=24459283995316252
Odin: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=24459283995316253
JellyBean firmware: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=24459283995316591
Step-2: The actual flashing.
>Extract SAMSUNG_USB_DRIVERS_FOR_MOBILE_PHONES.ZIP AND INSTALL THE DRIVERS.
>Extract the Firmware file.
>Extract Odin ZIP file.
>Open Odin v3.10.7 folder and run Odin3 v3.10.7.exe.
>Reboot Phone in Download Mode by pressing and hold Home + Power + Volume Down buttons.
>Connect phone and wait until you get a blue sign in Odin.
Note: If you didnt get the blue sign, you did not install samsung drivers properly.
>Add the firmware file to AP / PDA.
>Make sure re-partition is NOT ticked.
>Go to options tab and select nand erase all (this is very important).
>Click the start button, sit back and wait few minutes.
Voila. You successfully flashed stock JellyBean on your samsung galaxy grand 2 (SM-G7102)
This worked on my device. and my friend's devices. i have tried in 2-3 devices. If u still fail to flash and brick your device im not responsible.
