Hello, I just bought S21 5G and I have a problem with playing music on my Parrot mki9200 car kit, I can hear call voices, but when I watch youtube video or I play music through poweramp, I hear no sound. On bluetooth settings I have "connected to calls and media". When I had Galaxy S8 everything was ok. Any ideas? I tried changing some options in Developer menu, or factory reset but nothing works.
Also Parrot is freezing while in menu, maybe it's not compatible with newest phones?

I recently connected my S3 (Mini, latest software) to a 2012 Nissan Qashqai and its Connect-system via Bluetooth. While my previous Nokia phones have worked perfectly with Nissan cars, my phone did not. There is no problems with calling or answering calls, and my contacts are automatically loaded to the car. The problem is that when a call comes, my phone plays my ringtone and the car's audio system plays an annoying and loud, generic ringtone. In other words, I get two separate ringtones when a call arrives to my car, one from my phone and one from my car's audio system.
I've tried to research this issue, and apparently I'm not the only Galaxy-owner suffering from it. Alas, I've found no solutions to this problem. I've found no settings for phone audio settings in the Nissan Connect menu and, similarly, I've found no settings for BT devices from the S3. As Nissan isn't the only car brand with this issue, I don't think I need to change my car.
Do you have any suggestion? Could there be a workaround or even an app that would help? Or is S3 and its BT-software simply incompatible with Nissan Connect, and there is nothing I can do about it?
Let me clarify a bit.
I have a Jabra Classic which supports both the Media and PHone profile.
When I disable the Phone profile, my ringtones/notifications play through the bluetooth earphone just fine, however call audio does not go through the bluetooth.
When I enable the Phone profile, my notifications and miscellaneous media will play through the earpiece, however when a call comes in the phone sends the "ringing" signal to the earpiece which plays its generic ringtone.
Is there a way to force android to play the ring over the Media (a2dp) and enable the phone profile when answering?
Thanks to everyone for the help.
Hi there
I got a very strange Bluetooth Audio problem. When I connect my Phone (Xiaomi Redmi Note 3, MIUI 7.0.22.0, rooted, Android 5 based) to my Alpine Car Radio via Bluetooth and stream music via the in build app notifications from navigation (Text to Speech) do work. When I play Music via Amazon Music or listen to audio books via Audible the Text-to-Speech doesn't play. There is a break in playback, but that's all.
If I navigate with Navigon and set it to A2DP for Audi everything is working.
What can I do?
Hi,
Bit of a strange problem here - I upgraded to Marshmallow yesterday (using the voda rom) and then did a full factory reset (inc data), and everything has gone well so far as the upgrade. Set up as a brand new phone and started installing apps.
When i try and play audio over bluetooth to my car though, I can only make it work using the built in/stock Samsung music player. Aside from the fact this app is terrible, this means that I can't listen to podcasts (via Pocket Cast, or Pocket Bean) or play anything with Poweramp/amazon.
The Samsung player however works fine - when my phone connects to the car it starts playing the Samsung themetune (default track loaded on to the phone) and I can skip through to any other local media. I've done a bit of testing...
If I have the Samsung player playing, and then press play in pocket casts - it will pause the Samsung player, but I get no sound at all. If I then press play again on the Samsung player, it will pause pocket cast, play about 2 seconds of the podcast over bluetooth, and then immediately switches back to the Samsung themetune.
I've tried Pocket Cast, PowerAmp, Pocket Bean and the "Big finish audio player" and they all have the same issue. It's driving me mad - in the meantime I have resorted to downloading the MP3 versions of the podcasts so I can listen to them on the way to work, but its far from ideal.
Any ideas? This all worked fine in lollipop. Considering trying to downgrade as a result
I use Bluetooth headphones and PowerAmp exclusively, so this would definitely stop me upgrading to MM.
Can anyone else confirm?
To add a bit of further information (and maybe reassurance CitizenLee) - This only appears to be an issue with in-car bluetooth (tested with the Jaguar InControl system I have, and also a colleagues BMW IDrive). When I test with his Plantronics BackBeats, or my AV Receiver's bluetooth it seems to work fine.
I wonder if its related to the specific bluetooth profile being used, not really sure. Worth noting that I also have an Android wear device connected but I have tested with/without my watch and get the same issue.
Hello !
I didn't manage to have Bluetooth media in my car (BMW 3 2012).
My old iPhone was working fine, when an alert was incoming in Waze, my phone was calling the car and the voice was on my car audio system.
Now, sound keeps running on the phone, and I don't have media audio option when watching my S9+ parameters in the Bluetooth menu of the BMW, or on the phone.
I'm in France and my Samsung is a double Sim.
I saw different forums with problems of Bluetooth in cars, due to double SIM...
On other phones Android 8.1 seems to solve the problem...
Does anyone experience the same problem ?
Thanks for your help !
