Skin wanted - OnePlus 6T Accessories

I just dropped my OP6T but luckily it landed on the back, but still cracked slightly. Does anyone has a spare skin (similar to dBrand) that they would be willing to let go? I would be glad to pay to get it shipped. If someone knows where to get them for cheap (not very picky about texture/color), let me know as well. Hoping to keep the cost to a minimum for this older device. Thanks

I have a couple of pretty thin cases (not skins) I could let go if. I'll try to find them and upload pictures later if you're interested.

I actually had one of those slim silicone cases on when the phone fell. I wanted something to cover permanently so when I take off the case the crack won't be visible. I appreciate your willingness to help though.

Invisible Shield

everyone should start emailing Invisible Shield to get their attention about the HD. That we want one. Even if you get the reply to send your phone in. If we all do it then maybe they will make one somehow.
going to get my HD maybe in a week or so. barely ordered it!
Already emiled them about it a week ago after i got my HD. They said a user promised to mail his in and they would keep me informed
we should still keep emailing them! ahha
Hi guys!
I emailed Clear-Coat.com:
The new HTC Touch HD is now released in many countries, and I was wondering when, or if you'll make protectors for this device?

We're actually expecting to ship Touch HD Clear-Coats on Friday. You will be able to pre-order that from our site tonight - it should be available in the next 4 hours or so.

Even though I just ordered my HD, I emailed them last week getting the same response about someone mailing their HD in for a pattern.
Hate to let my beautiful workhorse (meaning toy ) go unprotected for long.
i just went to their site and see nothing about the HD.. i haven't gotten a reply from invisibleSHIELD yet... i got time ..my phone hasn't even been shipped..
I'm wondering which one should i get, the brando ultra clear screen protector or the invisible shield?
I'll get invisibleshield as it protects the entire device, whereas the other one only protects the front.

Figured as much myself, but the ad at the site sounded a lot like a scam one. As in "military technology that we bring to you" and such...
How do you apply it? Will it show and won't it be uncomfortable? Will you be able to get the back cover off?
Dude, just "Youtube" the word invisibleSHIELD. It's no scam.
They use the same technology on helicopter rotorblades, that's probably why they would use that term.
Would the thinkness of this invisible shield stop it from fitting in a car mount specific to the HD such as the Brodit one?

Clear coat looks interesting. I can't tell from the website, but does the "whole body protection" covers every part of the body or just the front and back? Anyone knows?

My experience with invisibleShield on another device has left me quite unsatisfied. The surface of the film isn't smooth like PET protectors, but a little gummy or tacky feeling, and when I tried to move my finger across the screen, it would try to stop in places, and would actually vibrate across the screen, like your finger does across a counter top (that squeeky clean type of thing) which would register as several simultaneous double taps, sending my winmo, especially opera, into insanity. Imagine the frustration of trying to scroll down a zoomed webpage, only to have it unzoom every time you scroll . The only way around this was to put my fingertip in my mouth to moisten it, then it would glide across the screen, but that made me look like a dork (like I need any help anyway ) and left the screen in bad need of cleaning. I emailed them about that, and they responded that it shouldn't do that and offered me a replacement IS. In all fairness, I should say that it really is scratch proof. I know... I tried
Anyone else experience this? Maybe its just me... Perhaps I'll try this clearcoat when my HD is delivered this afternoon...
with the whole body as i know it even covers corners so thats a better way to go. im guessing they made it two parts for the back? i wonder too.. cuz with th iPhone you dont have to open it ever.. but with this is totally different. im most likely going to be buying it but not yet. im going to see if i like the phone first before spending more money..
i got it from clove.. anyone buy from there? i got it got 720.. it says it shipped the 19 and getting there the 21.. is that right? kind of fast? but i paid for the better shipping with FedEx.. to USA.
anyways.. why would you just get a screen protector? get the full body!
no.. invisible shield has been fine for me. ive used it on a iPhone and i didn't have ANY problem using it.. maybe it different because of the touch tecnology? so its less stable on the pressure/other types..
has anyone used clear coat?.... i dont know if to get it... according to people the gloss paint chips easily so i dont tnhink im even going to use my phone untill i get a full body cover.. thats just lame from HTC but oh well.. but anyone know about the quality of clear coat?

G1 housing

Brown housing on Ebay
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/T-Mobile-G1-G...14&_trkparms=72:1301|66:2|65:12|39:1|240:1318
black as well if you search, just bought a brown meself! woop.
how are u planning to take it apart?
i wanna get the white housing when it comes out.. but i;m afraid to take it apart
White G1 Housing, Attempt
I have just purchased a white g1 Housing set for $50, don't call me retarded, money wasn't really an issue for me and I hate the bronze color. Anyway, has anyone actually attempted this and successfully got it functioning afterwards? Any quick replies would be awesome, ty!
do a search for the service manual. Its floating around out there. This gives a step by step on how to take apart and put back together the dream
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=468673
Let me know how this goes. Curious as to the difficulty level.
What condition is your bronze casing in? lol I have a black, but prefer the bronze.
It's in perfect condition, I only got the phone like 2 weeks ago. No scratches or scuffs, I just prefer a different color. I'm going to give this thing a go lol, unless you're talking about a trade or something.
as long as you follow the service manual perfectly (it's pretty in-depth) then you should have no problems. doesn't look too hard to take apart, just ****ing time consuming
wanna link me to the website where you bought this housing?
i wanted white also.

Anyone found a replacement housing with memory card cover?
I have dropped my phone and will be eventually looking to replace the housing.
But all the adverts on ebay(uk), none of them seem to list the memory card cover. I could use my original, but I kinda fancy a change to white! ;-)
Anyone know where to get this cover?
Thanks,
Really really sorry to bump this.....
Anyone had any luck finding spare G1 memory card covers?
Little surprised no one else is interested in this issue, especially if they fancy changing their housing (for repair/colour change) in the future.
As far as I can see, none of the sellers on ebay include this cover, so don't lose it or wreck it!
I dont think the G1 has enough of a market to mass produce housings, ebay is prob your best bet. You can try contacting HTC and see if they can give you a lead but other than that I think you'll have to look for someone with a bricked phone.
EDIT: Sorry, forgot u were lookin for mem card cover
@Edit: No problem; glad you noticed before I got round to typing reply!
Like I said, every single ebay listing I have seen does not include it.
Just seems a strange thing to for them to miss out, anyone know a reason?

Replacement USB Flap??

Has anyone replaced the little plastic flap that covers the USB port? Mine has finally broken off.
Is there anywhere to get a replacement online, and is there a resource for disassembly for the g1?
TIA
My device (Touch PRO) doesn't have it at all. I've seen that some devices have it and some don't. I think you can compare it to suspension housing of mountain bikes - some have some don't. It is just a question of dirt management style. While covers avoid the dirt getting in they also keep the trespassed dirt in there which also is not good. I don't think there is a good answer
I dont think he is looking for an opinion, I think he just flat out wants one. I could use one too, mine is broken as well.
As far as replacing, you can carefully insert it using a blunt pointed pin, I used some piano wire that was lying around when I did this to my last G1. Just "push" the ball into the housing. Alternately, you can use the plastic pry tools to lift that area, but it is a lot more work.

Looking forward to it.
I'm in the UK and they ship from the US, so it might take a while. I've ordered it on 15th and got a shipping confirmation the next day, so hopefully some time next week I'll have them.
OK, got them... and I think it's a bit of a waste of money. They're too small and also when you need to for example plug-in the headphones, you have to figure out where to put those flaps not to loose them.
Anyway, you decide:

Scratched rim around the screen - any tips?

Guys, I need help. I've bought a used RAZR HD a month and a half ago and it was in a very good condition. 9/10, maybe even 9.5. had just a scratch or two on the rim around the screen.
Since then, I've dropped it onto concrete two times and on both occasions in went corner down, so now I've got two completely wrecked corners. Nothing else is broken, it's all fine, the kevlar back is pretty much mint, the screen is great, it's just that rim that is now completely ruining the look of the phone...
Did anyone face the same problem and what have you done to fix it, if anything? The only idea I've got now is to sand down the rim to be at level with the screen, that would possibly make it look good again. Naturally, I'd be very careful as to not scratch the screen...
Can that rim be replaced anyway? I'll check out the disassembly guides and videos now to see whether it goes together with the screen...
I'm so annoyed right now. The second drop happened minutes ago... God flipping damn it. The problem is that Moto's have not been widely used here in Serbia for years now and that makes the availability of any equipment for them more than scarce. I'll be ordering a universal case right now (the one in which you slide the phone in and out) but I'd still love to make it look good again.
Flipping damn it
*edit*
According to this video... It's glued very very strongly together - http://youtu.be/LfAyttf6fWU
That's just great... And I can't even find a silicon case, be it no name or branded, to cover it all up. Will see if I can order anything from across the border.

This would be it, right - http://youtu.be/Eg5qkRCm5pU ? But, doesn't it turn what is already a quite a big phone into a massive one? Because it certainly seems so I'm guessing this cannot fit a pocket of any sort of pants? But it does seem to offer outstanding protection. Alas, at what a price, both functionality and monetary-wise (the price is $40+ on amazon?)... But even if I wanted to spend that amount of money on a case, I'd have to keep my fingers crossed for probably no less than a month, hoping that it will eventually arrive, intact and without many additional fees. Third world problems...
Thanks for the advice, anyway! I might pick up the Commuter edition, it seems more reasonable for my needs

yes thats it, im in construction so i went with defender, my sister has commuter and it seems to offer a level of protection for most peoples uses (2-3 foot drops) and yes it does make the phone bigger so if thats a concern i would go with commuter, also the screen protector on the defender is part of the case but with the commuter its a stick on screen protector if that matters to you( i can never get those to go on without wrinkles) i beleieve the 40 $ ones are the black ones bc otterbox stopped making them i bought a black one for 20$ 6 months ago

Here's what I have (well, it's the same style but mine is a Body Glove that I purchased from Walmart but I cannot find it anywhere online):
http://www.amazon.com/Diztronic-Mat...9233999&sr=8-2&keywords=motorola+razr+hd+case
It's worked well so far. I've dropped my phone a couple of times, once face down and maybe two times on the side and/or corner, and my phone has been protected.
Overall, it adds a little bulk, but nothing like an Otterbox. I can put this into my pants pockets without much issue.

This is very much like the generic cases available here for most smartphones, priced at $2-3. Would you say that your case has a premium quality and is worth the higher price? Because I've found those generic ones available together with free shipping on eBay. But I know how lousy their protection and appearance are, so I'm still weighing my options.

Again, that is not exactly the case I have, but I purchased it at a Walmat department store for about $14.
It feels rubbery and it's flexible when the phone is not in it. Mine says "Body Glove" on it but I cannot find it on their site (they don't list any cases for the Droid RAZR HD).
Overall, I wouldn't say it's premium quality (not like I had with my Otterbox cases for my OG RAZR MAXX that I used to own), but it does seem to do the job for me. As I said, I've dropped the phone face down with the case I have (which is similar to the one I linked to on Amazon) and the phone came out unscathed. It was about a three foot drop onto the concrete floor in my garage if that gives any indication.

Another vote to the Diztronic - it would cover that damage and will prevent the same type of damage when you drop it again. Mine has lived in one of these since I got it and gets tossed around all the time. Has landed face first a few times and has not skipped a beat thanks to the raised lip.

Thanks, mate. The Diztronic looks wonderful compared to the chinese "s-line" thing I bought because of free shipping... It's just crap and it doesn't even cover the edges properly - the left one is fine, but it cannot stay on top of the right one. Check the picture for illustration. I'll be sure to get the Diztronic one in the future. Can you just tell me whether its rubberised or is it just the matte finish making it look as if though it were? Because it looks like it is and that it's insanely sticky and that I wouldn't be able to stick it in my pocket, but I guess it's just the matte finish

Replacement back cover

I'm looking for a replacement back cover. I don't want to go with a case, it only just fits in my pocket, and IDK that I have a whole lot of mms to play with.
My problem is, my wife and I each got one, and they are both black. I almost walked out of the house with both the other day because I wasn't paying attention. If I could do something to differentiate the look a little, that would help greatly. I got stickerboy decals or stickers or whatever you call them, but I can't quite get it to line up (disclaimer: This is almost assuredly my problem, not anything wrong with stickerboy).
Any ideas on a replacement cover or one coming soon on the horizon?
