i have a soft bricked CUBOT C7+ (Android 4.2.2) with an MTK6572M CPU and 512 MB ROM.
So now I want to ask if somebody of you have a CUBOT C7+ ROM dump
or could provide some to me?
The device uses a NAND Flash which is dumpable using SP Flash Tools.
I would actually need a boot.img and a system.img, recovery is working.

Did you find a firmware? I have the same problem, but i need recovery
Do you still need it? I got a Cubot C7+ a few days ago and haven't done any system changes yet.

I want to make a custom boot logo but the tools to unpack/repack splash.img aren't working. All threads I could find were made before 2013 and were device specific. Any help would be appreciated
I'm using Teclast m8 (m8x1) with allwinner a63 processor
there is no fastboot mode anyone can unpack and patch boot.img for root magisk
android 7.1.2 firmware

Did you ever get this work? I notice your post is quite old now.
There is a risk of bootloop by patching your boot img this way on these devices. Best to wait and see because you patch boot and flash and brick the device. Your screwed
Could you please suggest an unpacking tool to edit the Mirek190 Android 5.0 ROM System.img file? Many unpack repack tools I found on the internet gave errors.
