Is there any way to install fm radio in op 9r?
No way, maybe.
Nope, haven't seen anything like that.... just streaming from browser or a store app...
Ya. You will need an app or browser to listen to radio.

I've just downgraded to Alltel radio 1.40; seems to have fixed phone locking up (2 days now). However, phone will no longer play vids from YouTube. I'm getting "RTSP protocol not supported error". I have tcpmp and flashbundle both installed on device. Would radio change cause this error?
Thanks guys.
you tube vid hack
There is a new hack for the you tube for titan..you need to install the new tcmp and vid hack..I saw it at ppc geeks but they are down..I came to xda to find it too but not had any luck.
I have both of them posted here...http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=360144
any radio app instead of messing with the rom?
Radio app? As in...?
These (2) files here simply load onto your device without rom intrusion. Are you looking for a streaming fm/am radio means?
I've been trying to get my GTab running 5.1.1 of Vegan to Stream shoutcast. No Luck.
Winamp fails, a few other clients I tried fails, in fact the only thing that worked was opening the link and using ServeStream to play the link, but it really doesn't work as the sound quality is glitchy as hell, its essentially un-usable.
Does anyone have a working application to stream free internet radio?? I've tried using TuneIn Radio but its really not the same as Shoutcast, and ultimately I want Shoutcast to work.
Help? Thanks!
Answered my own post: DOUBLETWIST seems to pull all the shoutcast stations.

As does TuneIn Radio. Works a treat and has a nice widget for your desktop.
Ive been using XiiaLive Lite on my phone and my tablet
on the phone im running the ubuntdroid 6.0 ROM and on the tablet I was running VeganTab Ginger
I just flashed my first gingerbread rom yesterday(asgard from EDT)
My main reason for upgrading to gingerbread was to be able to use netflix and fm radio. I looked in the market but I saw nothing. Oh and I couldnt get GPS to work either.
How do I get FM radio?
How do I get netflix? Is there an app?
How do I get GPS to work?
1) FM radio is a SGSII function. our phones do not have that capability. most custom roms have it in there just to "complete the set"
2) yes there is an app. however, from what i noticed, quite a few roms, for some odd reason, make it so that netflix doesnt show up in the market. only one that ive come across where it does show up, and you can download no problem are MIUI/CM7 roms.
3) GPS will only work with a few custom roms that support the EDT fix. i think. lol
r3skyline said it all. But my vibrant plays netflix fine on cm7
oh so no vibrant roms have working fm radio yet? or ever?
And is there somewhere I can get the netflix apk if not from the market?

The vibrant is missing key hardware in the FM module to allow FM to work. It's been physically cut out and will never work.
Also, if you search the themes and apps section under the vibrant, you'll find a noob's guide to netfilx on the vibrant.
Sent from my SGH-T959 using XDA App
Does anyone know where I can get an am radio of any kind to play through my x2?
I have looked all over and either im missing it or it doesn't exist.

This has been driving me nuts cuz I need AM to be able to listen to the flyers.

Couldn't you tune in via a web browser?
um, no AM tuner hardware = no AM radio app., besides with all the other crap in this phone, if it did have an AM tuner all it would pick up is noise.
For some reason, whenever I try to play a custom station on iHeart Radio, the app freezes but I can play live radio stations just fine. I've even factory restored a few times and tried it on different custom ROMs with the same results.
Anyone else experiencing this behavior or know of a fix?
In what little I used that app, I had no problems with anything other than the stock ROM.

At one time, it did work for me on the stock ROM and Peetr's ROM but not anymore. I don't know what happened. One day it just stopped playing custom stations. So now I use Pandora mostly but will use iHeart when I want to hear live local radio stations from where I used to live.
When I could play custom stations on iHeart, it allowed me to discover different artists that usually matched my liking even more so than Pandora.
Try Tune In Radio.
It has a fair amount of localized content. Not random like Pandora but I've always found Pandora to be annoying with it's 'suggestions.'
