Hello. I wonder if LINEAGE OS and other custom firmwares make it possible to move status bar icons and other interface elements to prevent burn in? Or is it some kind of official firmware feature? Is it also possible to set the frequency (Hz)? Thanks in advance.

Hi folks,
I want to develop a custom lockscreen for android ICS tabs. From what i googled it seems that there are two ways:
1. develop custom homescreen with some lockscreen mechanism (which can take PIN from user and show user home after validation) using standard SDk APIs.
2. Develop a custom lockscreen, replacing default one with it using flashing at OS level.
can you please help me out, also which of two will be more efficient sdk api's or modifying ROM (im not planning to put it on market anyway ) , also can please point me to refrences where I can start learning android development (ROM customization and sdk).......
thanks in advance ......

Hello.
I have the source code of custom Android 4.0.3 ROM for chinese device which is under development.
The home screen in this ROM does not have the launcher bar at the bottom (which Android phones have).
Is there any way to enable this launcher bar (see screenshot) in custom ROM and if yes then what will be the sequence of actions to do this?

Click to collapse
You can find that bar in AOSP roms or using third party lauchers like apex launcher, etc...
Can someone tell me where can I find navigation bar ".PNGs" in ressurection remix ROM based on cm13?
I need to change it directly in system ui ...But i dont see anything like ic_sysbar_back or ic_sysbar_recent or ic_sysbar_home in drawables
Are they present at any other location ?
Thank you
On CyanogenMod 13 I was used to having a system profiles shortcut in quick settings. I recently flashed LineageOS and that option is now missing. Does anyone know of a widget or other solution to quickly change system profiles?
It's not possible to add custom quick tiles on LineageOS. If Xposed will be done for Android Nougat you could inject the tiles but at the moment it is still in progress.
A solution can be install Resurrection Remix, witch has a tons more tiles
