Hello I would like to ask if you can activate the phone with the phrase hey google with the screen off and not unlock it first.
Yes, I'm able to do this.
Bought Chinese version, flashed to global. That said ... pandemic mode = no phone lock since I don't leave the condo ><

hey everyone, i just bought a transformer prime from staples.com 3 days ago and now it mysteriously won't turn on anymore?
I was using it fine and set it down, then tried to use it again and it just wont turn on, I know for a fact that the battery is 100% charged.
My question is should i go through ASUS and RMA it or just send it back to staples.com?
thanks in advance.

FW = Firmware
Settings/about tablet
Should look like this:
Build Number IML74K.(Country code, in my case US)_epad-9.5.2.21-20120323
IML74K.US_epad-9.5.2.21-20120323
.21 is the latest update

Hi all,
I'm a noob on WP for now. Have my Lumia 710 for about a week now and am using Lumiatrix^7 but can't find any configuration for enable/disable the Flip-to-Silence. I tested to call my own phone faced down and it sounds normally.
Is there any way to get this function on custom ROMs?
Thank you!

In the official firmware their is no option to enable/disable it, it is just always on. I know the Lumia 800 has flip-to-silence but I am not 100% sure the 710 even does.

Yeah, 710 has it, but mine, even on stock ROM, doesn't work.
I read somewhere that this feature resides on a dll file. On another place I read that the feature consists in a tweak on register.
I'm just thinking if there's a way to replicate this on a custom firmware like Lumiatrix^7.
If I find something I'll post here.

If you called it while faced down, then that's correct behavior. It's called flip to silence for a reason: you have to flip it from face up to face down when a call comes in to silence it.

 I'm crying in laugh! As advertised here in my country, it seems that if you put your phone in desk faced down it comes to silent mode. This would be great for me at night, as I have some non sense friends that call me during sleep time.
I just tested it now, fliping the phone while it rings and it worked as you described!
Thak you for your clarification and sorry for the idiot question I did!
(Still laughing)
My poco f1 is going to be delivered today but I am thinking to reject it at the time of delivery because I have seen a lot of threads and videos talking about this touch latency issue while using keyboard and playing games like pubg . I don't want to waste my time in Flipkart replacement policies. Kindly tell me how many of you are having the problem

I'm in France and I've just noticed a bug : when I type "me" for example, quite quickly, it's going to register "em" whereas I'm 100% sure that I press on "m" first. And it's true with all the letters on the right. Luckily I still have 10 days to send it back so if there's no fix I might do it. It's quite frustrating when typing.

There is a minor touch screen issue. Its not noticable in normal usage except for some scrolling unevenness but if you are gaming then you are going to be affected big time.
Yes, feels the same! 1 question - can it be corrected by OTA update? Is it possible?

I am very angry on Xiaomi. Waiting 360 hours for unlock, even after that not working - I am stuck on "Use your device a bit more" for about 7 additional days now. What a ****ty company policy. I don't like you, you make me very angry!
Buy Applel next time
@sackgnom
The first time I also waited and it was extended again. I had not used the phone but just waited for the unlock. but have noticed if the tetefon a certain time used this affects the activation.
in the other devices, I just surfed the internet in the evening (WLAN without SIM) and has always worked immediately! use your Xiaomi more often than just wait, so go around with it a bit

You still have to wait for the hours, but this version allegedly won't extend the wait time even if you don't use it.
I waited for 7 days to unlock, barely used my phone and did not get an extension.

Tell me 1, just one phone brand that don't steal data.
Of course its easy to blame xiaomi for waiting that time to unlock. In fact there are getting less devices on the market which can be unlocked at all.
Unlocking bootloader means also loosing warranty. Imagine you turn on your new phone, unlocking it and speaker is not working, display flickering,
camera faulty. AFTERWARDS. this is where the real trouble begins. Even if I can't confirm that is the main reason for the wait time, it makes sense and will lower the
risks also on your side.
man, stop b*ching. Try unlocking Huawei

Nop..
No it's not about stealing data. It's about you using the device for 7 days before unlocking it. It's due to Chinese versions being flashed global and being sold in the USA as oem global devices. This isn't to Target customers it's about selling phones in the USA that aren't legit global phones. Just stay logged in on that device do not use a different account like I have 2 mi accounts don't switch it resets the timer. Don't try and trick there system it won't work. Just wait 7 days you'll get unlocked.
