Serious problem with H96 Pro + - Android Stick & Console AMLogic based Computers
I have an HP96 pro + 3G / 32G 9377 for a few months no picture on TV only a blue light on the device no fiamware can be transferred to the device by USB since any flashing procedure by AmlogicBurning all versions gives the following message (HELP ME please):

I recovered mine using the pin short method which involves opening the box and shorting the chip with screw driver, common errors i had where all caused by my "usb a to usb a" cable being too long, i had to reduce it to about 5-6 inches long before it flashed successfully

Theres also different motherboards in these boxes although the shell looks the same so you may have to open it up to see which motherboard you have in order to get correct firmware

I have tried various 5v2a transformers 5v2a - 5v2.5a - 6v3a
and various USB cables and I tried various temperatures at Amlogic burning.
And as for pins 5 and 6, it is by bypassing them that I manage to connect the PC to the Box

the v3 ddr4 h96 pro plus has issues accepting bootloader on certain roms so this one was made for your version specifically.
i couldnt understand language in your log file as i speak english but paste that rom name into google search and look for that rom, i would paste a link but i dont think its allowed.
My box is different version from yours so i wouldnt know what else to suggest but hopefully some more experienced members can help further but i hope you get it fixed.

HI There, I have a lpddr3 version of this box, and short circuit method makes the lights flash purple once then switch off. Just can't get it to connect to pc. Any ideas?

Hello great comunity!, I'm creating this thread with all the information that I was able to gather from different threads and sources. This device is being given away by Claro Uruguay as a video stream platform (similar to Netflix?) The hardware: Chipset: Hi3798M (11,000 DMIPS) Cortex A7 Quad Core Info from vendor http://www.kaonmedia.com/eng/product/pro02_3.asp?pgrp=31&pidx=26 Quad Core 1.5G ARM Cortex A7 11,000DMIPS CPU Mali MP450 Quad Core GPU Android 4.4 Kitkat 4GB eMMC. 1GB DDR3 HEVC/H.264 Decoder up to 1080p WIFI:802.11n 2x2 Dual Band (2,4/5Ghz) + bluetooth HDMI:1.4a (3D suport) Ethernet: 10/100, Rj45 Full Duplex One Usb 2.0 and Micro sd card (all info from the user manual) Possible ways to flash it. 1. load scatter file from firmware to SP Tools and click download from PC. 2. Disconnect the usb connected to the PC (use only usb ) and also the power cable of the SC7210 3. Connect the USB to an 2.0 USB of the PC. 4. Connect the power cable to the SC7210. 5. Done!. SP Tools start flashing the firmware. If does not work there is a jumper inside that box that it seems that put the usb in debug mode. Put the jumper and try again. please some help?

Cuando use USB fue bastante distinto, use el método descrito mas atrás, y funciona gracias, o sea con el NOVA LAUNCHER logre, hacer arrancar el dispositivo de otra manera y acceder al menú de desarrollo, y abrir Depurar USB, asi el pc si reconoció al dispositivo. Hasta acá pude lograr comunicación con el dispositivo el problema es que no entra en bootloader probé con todos los botones del control remoto y también con el teclado pense que tal vez, no este pensando con claridad algo, al aparato lo hiba a flashear con la rom, que esta el foro para el coship, pero antes queria hacer un back-up, como no tiene JUMP como el otro modelo no me ha permitido usar SP Flash Tool, intente también cambiar la opción en la herramienta, por el puerto uart, pero no logro que arranque por mas que haga el procedimiento, Puedo seguir el avance para que quede el tuto pero el problema es que necesito ayudar para entrar en bootloader, probé con comandos ADB, recibe reboot pero no en modo bootloader o recovery, también desde el mismo dispositivo, con terminal emulator SU -C REBOOT RECOVERY, con teclado y control remoto, también hasta lo he habilitado el root desde el pc con king root (costo un rato pero lo habilito).

[Help][S905X3] Can't load default firmware but others work fine
The device is a X10 MAX R-TV BOX 4gb/128gb Amlogic S905X3. Since the default firmware was pretty bad ( a summary can be found here (xda-forum post)) I decided to add another firmware.
The first thing I tried was Slimbox firmware that seemed to have an image that matched my exact specs (forum post - project page). However, no matter what I tried, I always seemed to get the same error. The process would fail at 3% on the `Download UBOOT` step with an [0x10303004]Romcode/Switch status/Identify/Error
Ever since I've been trying various images and some of them can be installed but might have other issues - most commonly the Wifi doesn't work or the remote is not recognized - but any image that is supposed to be made for this device fails on the same step with the same error.

I'm going to try to using a usb or a different (shorter) cable, but if anyone has any ideas of what I might be doing wrong, please just let me know. I'm very new to this and I'm trying to figure things out, so any resource is welcome.

The device is a X10 MAX R-TV BOX 4gb/128gb Amlogic S905X3. Since the default firmware was pretty bad ( a summary can be found here (xda-forum post)) I decided to add another firmware.
The first thing I tried was Slimbox firmware that seemed to have an image that matched my exact specs (forum post - project page). However, no matter what I tried, I always seemed to get the same error. The process would fail at 3% on the `Download UBOOT` step with an [0x10303004]Romcode/Switch status/Identify/Error
Ever since I've been trying various images and some of them can be installed but might have other issues - most commonly the Wifi doesn't work or the remote is not recognized - but any image that is supposed to be made for this device fails on the same step with the same error.

I've tried other stuff, like different versions of USB burning tool, configs, combinations etc. Some roms don't even boot but the ones that are 'official' always fail at the same step.

When I do that, even though the process finishes, the device won't even seem to power up. There's one led and it won't turn on and nothing else happens. Also, for some reason, USB burning tool seems to ignore the the settings I select now. Maybe it's all messed up after all the times i've installed/uninstalled it and all the versions I've tried...

I'd recommend buying a recent SOC though. Not the S905 series. They are too old now

is there any way to update the Mecool M8S PRO W to atv9 ?? I have tried using the box with other roms other than the stock without any success.
I have tried the RedPoisonATV S905W and some others and it always stays at 7% .. or an error appears when using the usb_burning_tool :/
I have tried different cables and different PCs .. and with different roms but the error always appears.
I tried to install the ATV9 version of Vasily Shevchuk (
) it has a mecool m8s pro w .. working with android 9 but the same thing happens to me, it stays stuck at 7% or some other error ..
I also tried using Aidan's ROM but it didn't work either
PSD: curiously, the only rom that can accept this box is the M8S_PLUS_W 20180622.img (the image that serves to revive the box after a failed update) but I don't accept another .img: / any ideas??? ...
or should i just throw the tvbox in the trash
