hello guys
anyway to prevent apps showing on battery reports?
if i go on battery and check a full report i get detailed % of apps battery drain...can this be hidden or disabled?
Do you mean you want to configure an exception list to the apps battery drain report?

There are always a lot of running apps which waste a lot of ram and power..
This is significantly reducing battery life and overall performance..
Using task killer has no effect as those apps automaticaly start running again
Please suggest a remedie
Sorry to tell you, but you have to inform yourself about how Android OS works.
1. You don't need task killers - they are useless !
2. Apps are stored in RAM so that they can be relaunched faster.
3. Apps stored in RAM do not drain battery. Only active apps drain battery.
4. Check wikipedia for further info.
Thanx for dispeling my myth..
Can u also give me some suggestions 4 increasing battery life..
And also can u tell me an app that will tell me hw much battery is being consumed by each app or process on my phone?
For battery increasing try disabling 3G/Wi-fi/Bluetooth/GPS when not used. Put screen brightness at about 60%. I only do this and I always manage 2 days with moderate to intensive usage.
Download Spare Parts from Market. You can see there everything you want regarding to battery.
I've taken screenshots of batterystat "Kernel WakeLock" and "PartialWakelock" and the battery shortcut from settings.
P.S: The wifi/3g/bluetooth/sync were all off and the brightness was set minimum.
I want to know what is causing my battery drain.

It'll improve battery life a little. But what drain battery is 3G and wifi and the service that prevent your phone to go to deep sleep mode while 3G/wifi is on. You can install CPU spy and wake lock detector to investigate what drain your phone battery and try to stop that service or remove it.

Thanks for ur reply...ok let me try with cpu spy and come back to u....but i have already installed wakelock detector...
I use Greenify to stop services from those apps that I am not currently using. When Greenify hibernates the app, it also hibernates the related service.
I did see a small increase in the amount of deep sleep and a small battery life improvement. Of course, your mileage may vary due to not all services waking the device.
I noticed it was taking up 10% of my battery so I disabled it, I'd remove it but it's marked as a system app. It's still scranning my precious mAHs what do?
Anyone don't restrict social apps(WhatsApp, facebook ,messenger, snapchat) running in background? I wish to have real time notification from these apps but they are causing my battery drain faster than normal. Any tips to do it?
