S21 earpiece stopped working - Samsung Galaxy S21 Questions

hello everyone,
few days ago, my phone earpiece stopped working completely. I guess because the phone took several falls. My question is earpiece repairable/replaceable? and is it attached to display? I'm confused as there are no replacement videos on YouTube regarding earpiece change.
Thanks

any help please?

Watch some tear down vids.

[Q] <E4GT> Mic Problem

Yes I did post this in the device specific forum, but no one seems to have any idea. But it has me very confused, So I thought I would bring it to the general community.
So I acquired a ET4G the other day from a friend who had dropped it in some water. He did an insurance claim so he has his new one and gave me this one to play with. Everything works fine except the mic and the notification light was stuck on.
I completely disassembled and cleaned the circuit board and contacts. Now the notification light works properly and the mic works when recording video.
There is no mic in skype, calls, searching, anything except video recording that I've tested so far.
Sooo, Does video recording use a separate mic , if not does anyone have any ideas?
It's running CM9 right now but shouldn't make a difference. I have already flashed it to stock and back to make sure it wasn't a software issue.
Any ideas would be appreciated

[Q]Can't hear during converstion after fuild droplet

Hi All,
I'm not sure if this is the proper section to post this question but since it's Q&A, I thought it won't hurt.
Desctription:
My wife owns Xperia U and our daughter managed to spill couple of drouplets of vitamin C, on the part of the phone right above the "Sony" branding, not sure how you call it; "hearbud" maybe.
And now my wife can hardly hear anyone on the other end of the line during a call...unless she uses loudspeaker or headphones.
Actions taken:
I did wipe the fluid with a tissue, also powered off the phone and wiped that part with ear cleaning stick with alcohol and then dried it with hair dryer and powered the phone but that didn't seem to help.
Question:
I was wondering if anyone had similar case and what would be the recommended action to take at home, before I take it to shop for repair.
Many thanks in advance
Just wait for a day or two
When I happened on my e90 ( yes I used that brick type of phone)
I kept it in sunlight for 2-3 hrs
Bt still had some issue regarding voice quality
It's been few day now, since saturday and still the same problem.
Any other inputs?

Quick question (water-proofness)

I have a quick question about the Z2 water proof-ness. I got the Z2 about three weeks ago and everything is fine except when I run it under water (not submerged) the microphone doesn't work properly for a good 20-30 mins. I seen a video where the microphone was picking up everything fine even under water so I assume my device has a defect? if it has any sort of contact with water the microphone sounds like it's underwater literally even in calls. Has anyone else experienced this issue? thanks :good:
From the owners manual
If the speaker or microphone get wet, their function may be impacted until the water has completely dried. Please note that the drying time can be up to three hours depending on the environment. During this time, you can, however, use other features in the device that do not utilise the speaker or microphone.

[Q] Noise on microphone

Hi everyone.
I took my Z2 to the beach this weekend, after two days the Phone worked just fine. Once i got back to the city the microphone started to get all noisy.
Whenever i get a call the microphone get all noisy and not being able to be listened for the People Who is calling me.
Even when i want to récord a video, the sounds is real noise.
Aby advice.of whtas happening? Solutions?
Thanks in advice, sorry the poor english.
Edit: i didnt submerge the phone at all.
Perhabs there is sand in the hole?
Or you could try to reinstall your firmware and look if it's a software problem.
I had the same problem as you, i'm not sure how the problem originated though i just noticed one day while making a video.
The problem was not a software problem but it seemed to have fixed itself after the phone fell from my hand so it might be a loose connection or some sand.

**HELP NEEDED** Speakerphone/Microphone Issues :(

Hi Guys,
After almost ditching this phone recently due to several frustrations I recently took the plunge and installed [OFFICIAL][7.1.2] Resurrection Remix 5.8.5 with OMS by gwolfu.
So far it seems fantastic and I've managed to resolve the slow charging issue by updating the bootloader and modem to the 20V version and flashing the qc-typhon-h850-M6 kernel.
However my device is plagued by an issue where calling is virtually impossible, which is kind of an error seeing as the G5 is....ya know.....a phone.
When I try to make phone calls I can barely hear the person on the other end (i've checked the volume) and if I turn on the speakerphone they can no longer hear me. Even if I turn off speakerphone they can't hear me anymore after activating it.
Does anyone have any ideas how I could fix this?
It's literally driving me insane that there's such an amazing, smooth ROM which has extended my battery life something crazy but it's plagued by such an annoying issue.
Any help would be HUGELY appreciated
Bump?
I have a similar problem with LineAgeOS 14.1 on my H850 :/
I have a problem where mine doesnt work on the main mic, but as soon as I turned on speakerphone then the other person can hear me. Its very headache inducing because I use telegram and it uses the main mic therefore recording voice is useless. I literally took the plastic shell off of the part that everything with the charger, speaker, and mic is located and nothing blocking it.
I got the replacement module for the g5 and that still did not fix it. I dont know what to do.
EDIT: I just now found out that after taking out the motherboard, there was a red sticker covering some golden connectors, after taking that off fixed it. No idea why there was a red sticker there but please check and if it is there then take it off. itll be on the other side of the motherboard..
