Question Real truth about nord 2 - OnePlus Nord 2 5G

1. Amoled display but no saturated color option.
2. Camera apps sucks but hardware capable of capturing good photos.
3. Dimensity 1200 in the nord does not get the AnTuTu score over 600k only around 450k to 500k, CPU is good but in nord 2 may be throttling.
4. When I use the earphones the ringtone sound is very low it only rings with media sound not the notification sound which is disappointing for me.
5. When I answer the phone call using the earphone when my cellphone in the pocket it's mistouching a lot and call getting disconnected it seems the sensor does not working properly in the pocket.
Comparing to nord 2 oneplus 3 is my old phone is way better device.

1. Go to Youtube and see some 4K footage , Costa Rica is most relevant . Screen is OK
2. This subject is discutable due to subjective opinions of each other of us , more than that and very important this phone has OIS !!!
3. Dimensity 1200 AI is very powerful , it's comparable with high-end 2020 phones . On my own 128 GB version in Antutu v.9 my score is over 676.000 . This is impressive . This is over my wife Samsung S20 Ultra . In tests phone temperature doesn't jump over 38º C
4. What about charging ? Don't you think this is a frightening charging battery mode ? This is impressive too...
5. What do you think about Color OS ?
6. WiFi 6 and 5 G are present , aren't you happy ?
..........
Dimensions , buttons position , major update for 2 years ( security patches for 3 years ) , Gorilla Glass 5 , front and back , touch sensitivity and so on . For this price that phone is best buy . My only complain about the phone is screen protection which is the worst part of it . I'm thinking in the near future to change it or not , just a naked display , GC 5 is enough .
Another thing that is not a problem for me is the lack of any IPxx . So what ? I don't really care !
Anyway I don't intend to root or TWRP installing I only discharge a few bloatware to increase the battery life .
Finally I can say for sure , trust me , I'm happy I bought OnePlus Nord 2 instead of Samsung A52s , Realme GT , Poco F3 or else .

I used to see saturated colors on my oneplus 3 so only disappointed to see nord 2 does not have it. I have talked with oneplus support hope they can bring it in the next update.

Frankly thought on Xiaomi mi note 2, Pros/Cons

I want to share my opinion pros/cons after use this device for a week. I would frankly say what is good, what is bad.
The unit i have is Xiaomi mi note 2 128gb/6gb non-global version.
cons:
color shift on curve edges, it look abit blue by eye ( when screen is display light tone - white ). This not effect with dark tone color ( It look normal from flat to edges curve )
camera it come with older build compare to mi5s which announce 2 months before mi note 2. Mi note 2 come with imx318 which release since Feb 2016 compere to mi5s come with imx378 which release on Sep 2016. Look at that gap for possible improvement make me feel abit disappoint. ( but it also has a pros from sacrifice **see in Pros**)
It doesn't come with 3D touch (T_T)
LTE bands for non-global version. Why they remove FDD B8. but mi5s have 5 bands include B8
Benchmark Performance for 128/6gb model abit disappoint. It only get around 110k-125k on antutu, 1800SC 3900MC on Geekbench. Compare to other phone with this spec even mi note 64/4gb got higher. You also can see from this link: https://www.kimovil.com/en/best-smartphones-moviles/best-smartphones-antutu-benchmark
( I think this must be a software issue, with this spec it can improve with better ROM and Kernel. Still waiting for it )
Announce on the same day with Mi mix. Which pull down the hype on mi flagship (mi note2). Cause less developer taking eyes on mi note 2 over Mi mix by comparing on both forum.
Price per performance compare to mi5s.
Pros:
Battery 4070 mAh. DAMN!!! this make no wonder using this phone through a day. Daily use, message, phone call, browse, social, take photo, Bluetooth streaming, gaming, watch youtube still get spare juice before go to bed. No need to carry power bank around.
Feeling so good on hand. Its thin with that battery size. The dual curve edge feel premium. Whole Metal build + gorilla glass.
Spec sheet. even though i talk about performance above, But with this spec hardware there is huge gap to improve by software later.
Camera. Sacrifice newer model but what we get is image stabilization @4K and higher Megapixel. wide angle front facing camera.
Sound both on speaker and headphone quite good.
Equip with all kind of connectivity even infrared.
Fast and accurate fingerprint sensor.
Conclusion:
In real world scenario, i didn't feel any lag or slow performance. It still one of the fast/best phone in the market today. Camera is good just dont read the spec sheet. Feel premium on hand. Huge battery capacity more than enough for daily use, plus quick charge. Good sound. fast fingerprint scan. Have to wait abit for custom rom and kernel. Better if you can get global version.

You can't really use these benchmark test for anything serious.
Here's my results:
AnTuTu: 162571
Geekbench 4: 1840 / 4403

Does it play x265/hevc well? (use mx player + custom codec)
This is the thing I'm looking for in my next phone.

My Nvidia Shield TV & Google Pixel C play this with zero effort (both have the Nvidia Tegra X1 chip)

SD 821 is much more powerful than tegra x1 and yes it plays 10 bit hevc videos. I have Nvidia shield TV too, ja it's good but SD 821 is faster and better.

Yes, I saw many 4gb mi note 2 benchmark around 145-160k. With my unit (6gb mi note 2) i expect to see better ram performance but i got even lower than 4gb model. I think with newer rom update could improve ram management on 6gb model.
But as i said on original post that real world use i didnt get any pull down performance.
Do you need to wake the phone to use the fingerprint sensor? Or is it like most phones that can be woken up and unlocked with a fingerprint scan?

You have to press to the home/fingerprint sensor to wake and unlock the phone at the same time.
How is the display of the mi note 2? Many reviewers are quite disappointed by the display. I wonder how sharp it is because of 5.7" amoled screen. Pentile matrix and 1080p resolution with that screen size could be a concern for me.
I just can't decide between MI note 2 and oneplus 3t...oneplus is much much cheaper than MI note 2 in 128 GB configuration and I guess it will be available much faster than mi note 2. But I want the edge screen so badly.

Frankly I would say that display is better then any other IPS screen in terms of color reproduction. Brightness is fine but Xiaomi 5s is brighter at max. It is not an issue for me because I keep brightness at 80%, in bright condition. Here's a bad thing I think, the screen changes to bluish tint if you look at it at angle but most noticeable if display is white. When it comes to sharpness it's fine to me but I think many people will say it's not sharp enough because they just happen to know that there are 2k displays on the other phones. They would never guessed what resolution particular displays has by just looking at it. OnePlus 3t it might be better in some aspects but personally it's looking boring to me and I would never consider one for myself. Besides I hate when camera frame is taller/higher than surface as it's case with OnePlus. The other thing you have to put in consideration is MIUI and for now there is no global firmware but I flashed Xiaomi.eu ROM and it's flawless. There are other phones in the same category like Leeco le pro 3 or vivo xplay6. Best regards

Ihave not read this wrong, as of November, there has been a 128GB/6GB combination of the 5.7" Xiaomi Mi Note 2 with a Global ROM? Or the CN one with litterally 4 or 5 unlocked bands?
So this phone must be woken up for the finger print to work. It doesn't try reading a fingerprint tap on the button and ,must be woken up to work?

That is correct, but still it's done by one touch, while yu pressing the button the fingerprint scanner is unlocking the locked screen at same time.
Mi note 2 global version is about to be realest but all my Xiaomi mi phones are compatible in my country ( Denmark) so I am not bothered.

I think the word disappoint for display of mi note 2 is under expectation. Everyone who plan to buy this phone would expect to see gorgeous IPS curve display. But after you get the phone hand on and the color on the edge doesn't seem as expectation so it would be abit disappoint.
As a mi note2 user I would say first impression was abit disappointed for display. The color on curve edge seem abit blue (only on white background) and abit warm tone display (compared to 1+2 i had used before mi note2).
But after using this phone for few days you will get use to color of display. Now i didn't feel any color change on the curve edges (after get used to) but the curve edge of screen still make you feel good on hand. Normally we look directly to screen not to the curve so right now color on the curve doesn't make me feel bad otherwise curve is still curve every time you hold your phone you always feel good on hand.
Thanks for the feedback. I personally don't care about other phones 2k displays (VR is not of relevance for me at all). I'm running the redmi note 3 pro international at the moment and the display is just fantastic. I just don't want a downgrade in display quality for my next phone which will cost about 4x more than the redmi note 3. In general the note 3 pro is already the perfect phone for its price tag (except for camera quality) but I always happened to be one of the enthusiast guys and I'm very curious about the curved screen.
An other thing that bothers me is the battery life. Reviewers speak about 4-5hrs on screen time. On the note 3 you can easily get between at least 7 hrs up to 10 hrs for some ppl. The difference in screen size is just 0.2 inches and the capacity is the same.
So what is the battery life for you guys?
The camera seems to be decent but it seems that pixel and s7/edge still play in their own league tho...
BTW: is anyone using the edge functions on the mi note 2?

Battery life in my opinion is the best i ever used. It take me pass daily usage with 30%+,- before go to bed.
Yesterday i put phone on airplane mode during 9.30 hours flight. Mi note 2 is handle idle so well.

1. Yes, bootloader must be unlocked and TWRP for Mi note 2 must be flashed at first.
2. There is a guide on xiaomi.eu site how to do it : https://xiaomi.eu/community/threads/6-12-29.37056/

Considering purchasing LG V10

Hello dear community. I have an OPO but recently it stopped recognising the SIM card, and then in my efforts to fix it i cut the volume rockers cable, so now i am looking for a replacement. LG V10 seems a very good option to consider, mostly cause right now you can find it ~240€ in Ebay + it has all those little plusses like the second screen, a fairly good camera, ets etc. The thing is that i like to put custom roms, but i see here in XDA, that LG V10 doesn't have much active developer community. Fortunately its still possible to root, but then i won't be able to get Android 8 when it comes out. What do you think about it? besides that, whats your opinion as LG v10 users? Is it a good solid device that worths investing? I am not purchasing devices very ofter. Usually once every three years or when the device stops working from hardware problem, so i want it to last quite a while.
Also i've noticed that LG v10 usually comes with Nt&t or other carrier in the label. Is it possible to unlock it to other carriers via rooting? I never had such problems in the past cause in my country the smartphones usually come unlocked and carriers don't bother locking them.
thanks in advance

I can tell you about my experience and you decide . I wanted this phone since it came out but it was expensive . I waited a year and I decided to buy it . The reason there is not much of development is ( probably ) because there is no need for development .
The phone is great as is . UI is not that pretty but it's functional . Battery is pretty solid , w-ifi also , screen is great .... indoors . Once you go out on sunny day you can't see nothing regardless of brightness . So I bought Green onion supply matte screen protector ,
that helps with glare . Speaker is on bottom of the phone and it sounds pretty good , but I use bluetooth headset all the time . GPS is FAST and accurate . When I turn it on outside within SECONDS it knows where I am and signal is solid . ( I don't have network data . Just GPS sat . ) Volume rocker and power in the back is ( in my opinion ) great option , usually when you put your phone in windshield holder it cant push your power button or volume ( like on my previous phone ) . Camera . ( The selling point ) Usually cameras have 4:3 sensor , and if you select 16:9 it will zoom in little bit and lower resolution . Not this phone . You can select 4:3 but on this phone it just crops screen on left and right . When you select 16 :9 it just widens the screen . Pictures come very big 9MB and RAW is about 20+ MB . It has optic stabilization and EIS ( Electronic Image Stabilization ) I don't like eis . Video comes out choppy and mechanical looking . And OIS does not work on 4k VIdeo or 60fps . Regular 1080P will run at 24mbs and 4k runs at 64 mbs . Handheld auto night shots will show some noise on pictures if you recording outside open fields or park with less illumination . Well lit downtown and objects close enough for flash come out great . If you have tripod and taking stationery pictures with very little light you can lower iso to 50 and shutter speed to 5 10 or up to 30 seconds . Since I have this phone I am not taking my point and shoot sony anywhere on any vacations , and I bought few clip-on filters ( 10-stop filter , hd anti-haze filter
and few others , tripod with cellphone adapter and bluetooth remote shutter ) . Photos can be also taken with voice command . Selfie camera has little wider angle so You can take more in but it has very little Fish-eye effect if you use wide option . Works great on video chat skype etc . The phone has very premium feel and its heavy . ( especially heavy for vr ) Your nose will suffer if you put it in vr . Yesterday I was in tmoble store and I was playing with v20 and G6 . G 6 is small and Dual camera does not take pictures at same time second camera has smaller aperture 2.4 and wider screen with fish eye effect and ton's of lag . v20 is bigger and has 4:3 camera sensor . If you want 16:9 you have to lower resolution to 9mp . Also laggy .I am not impressed with newer phone models . I bought H960A model , It's the one that can have unlocked bootloader for easy rooting . Have I missed anything ?

Thanks for your reply! I m quite interested in the camera and the sound recording capabilities since i am a photographer myself, and usually i find it fair enough to use a smartphone instead of my heavy bulky DSLR. Same goes for video recording. I m even thinking i can use V10 as an additional camera on interviews etc. Its good to know that it has a 16:9 sensor! I love wide sensors!
About screen brightness, eh i think i m used to it. Maybe i will get the screen protector you've suggested.
I can't seem to find H960A version, but unlocking the bootloader should be ok. I've done it so many times in the past. The thing is if i can use other versions of the phone with my current carrier. I will have to investigate that since as i said in the first post i never had this problem in the past and i could use some reading on the subject.
Also, i've heard that if you are stuck with and NT&T carrier you wont be able to update software too much, whats about that? I believe you can find the LGs software and manualy flash it, is there such a possibility?

Hi, I purchased my LG V10 H960A last year and 3 days ago it went into bootloop of death. LG wont confirm that G4 and V10 have heating issuses causing damage on some components on motherboard or unwelding CPU chip. After bootloop appears, there is no fix, only motherboard change will help, which is ridiculous since this is a expensive phone. V10 is a very good phone but with this flaw it becomes unusable and it is only matter of time when you'll face bootloop. My personal advice to you is to consider some other mobile manufacturers since LG didn't showed any interest in customer satisfaction relating to G4 and V10 models. Also they didn't released Nougat for these models yet. Happy purchasing.

Hm, i don't know about V10 bootloop issue, but are you sure its not a software issue? All the times i faced bootloop it was all about software.

It is a hardware problem, you can google it and you'll find many V10 users complaining about non fixable bootloop. In my case, I cannot even enter into recovery mode to do factory reset. Problem with these phones is heat generated by processor which eventually will damage some components on motherboard or processor itself will detach from motherboard and cause the bootloop. Only solution is motherboard change and that's not cheap thing to do. This is a big problem since when it happens your phone is unusable, simply dead.
Best regards.
I see. I founda fix that requires to open the smartphone and add some paste but i don't want to do it soon. I will just take care of it so it keeps cool. Maybe by underclocking some of the cores helps?
I use it as my primary camera . I never wanted bulky dslr . Just point and shoot , but what I have does not comes close to lg v10 . Do your homework about bootloader . If i remember correctly H960 is one ( or one of two ) models that supports bootloader unlock . About video recordings . I recorded waterfall 2 times and first HALF A SECOND comes out really loud and then stabilizes , and you HAVE to experiment with directional microphones . I usually just leave them in the middle . One time I wanted to record water stream and I changed Microphone to front and recording went horribly wrong . It sounded like echo from hell . ( I don't know how else to describe it ) . Here is few Photos

Thanks for your reply. I ordered the GSM Unlocked version of the phone, which hopefully is bootloader unlockable. The images look great for a smartphone indeed. For sure i will have to experiment with the settings, mostly the microphone settings. Maybe its possible to hear the sound quality via the headphones realtime? That would be a good feature.
@klemen241
I've heard very good opinions about xperia Z5, myself i find it a bit bulky due to the design. Sony phones have bad angles which makes the phone look biger than it is. V10 on the other hands, is quite slim, even though its a very big phone, on my hands felt ok. The only negatives i have in mind about V10 is that the CPU seems quite problematic with the overheating issue, and also i think its not very fast. The 6 cores might help with the battery life, but Z5 has 8 cores, which naturaly would have better performance, but in the end who cares, since phone is smooth, i don't really care about computational power and benchmarks. So i suggest you have a look at the gimmics of v10 and see for yourself.
V10 VS Xperia z5

I read about z5 and I have mixed feelings . If you have regular z5 ( 5.2" ) exchange it for premium version . z5 has newer processor ( 8 cores vs 6 cores in lg ) and newer graphics card dedicated photo button , but it has smaller camera sensor ( despite 23 megapixel ) non removable battery and lower screen resolution . If you like smaller phone You don't want to exchange it . lg is hulking 5.7 "

Help me decide. galaxy 9+ or Mate 10 Pro?

me and a friend are set to go out at the end of this week to buy a new smartphone. I'm upgrading from a mid range clunker and his selling his Iphones and going Droid. I need the community help to decide which of these 2 we should go for. or at least I should go for since he is set on the 9+ more. there is no direct comparison between these 2 online so I'm still undecided.
here is my line of thought.
galaxy S9+ pros
1- awesome screen.
2- great audio and 3.5 jack.
3- beautiful phone eye catcher.
4- expandable storage ( not very important for me).
5- great low light Camera.
6- faster processing power ( exynos version the one I'm getting)
7- wireless charging.
8- status symbol, everyone knows galaxy when they see it, like iphones.
9- crisp mic quality.
10- great GPS.
galaxy S9+ cons
1- mediocre battery life.
2- costy more expensive than mate 10 pro.
3- slow charging compared to mate 10 pro.
4- battery might not retain it's capacity over time even though samsung caims so.
Mate 10 Pro, pros.
1-fast charging 1:30min to charge fully
2- costs 250$ less than galaxy s9+
3- great battery life.
4- comes with screen protector and case.
5- great GPS module.
Mate 10 pro cons
1- looks like any other phone
2- no status symbol, whats this phone: mate 10 pro, wut ?, it's huwaei, ah chinese phone u mean? :cyclops:
3- inferior screen.
4- horrible resale value.
what do you guys think? coming from asus zenfone max I greatly value battery life but this time I really want to buy the best and cry only once. processing power isn't really an issue for me since I don't game much. but since I'm a photographer who post on instagram frequently I value good camera.
any thoughts are appreciated.
I've had both. I had the Mate 10 standard first and did love it but couldn't deal with the adaptive brightness bug that randomly dimmed the screen despite auto brightness being turned off. I sold it at a rather large loss, a little over $200.
So far I'm really liking the S9+. The screen does look more saturated and colorful than the Mate 10 but the Mate 10 seemed sharper. I much prefer LCD over AMOLED, mostly do to the latter's issues with burn in and screen degradation. Mate 10 also seemed a little quicker.
My Mate 10 also had to have the International rom flashed as it never made it to the states, so there was little issues with that. The S9+ works better on US networks.
Battery life is better on the Mate 10 but the S9+ isn't a slouch, either. The camera is excellent on both but I don't use them enough to go into a detailed comparison.
Just for background information, these are the phones I had in the past 6 months: Mate 9 Pro, Pixel 2 XL, U11+, P20 Pro and S9+.
Taking this in mind, I can say that S9+ is the most balanced of them all, and overall the best device.
I can't say directly about Mate 10 Pro because I never had one, but I guess is pretty much the same as my Mate 9 Pro/P20 Pro I had, so I'm basing my comments on these experiences.
The cons you wrote about the S9+ are half truth:
* Battery is not mediocre as long as you know how to properly configure your device. I'm not getting less than 5-6 hours SOT over a day and a half; is true that Mate 10 Pro will have a better battery life, but from my experience, I never had more than 1 hour SOT difference between the S9+ and the Huawei ones.
* Is true that Mate 10 charges faster, but is a matter of 10-15 minutes difference at most. My S9+ charges fully in around 1:40.
* I would add as a con that S9+ has lower coverage and maybe this could turn into a problem if you live in a zone where there are not many antennas, thus it can impact battery life.
If you care about the camera, then go with the S9+, because Huawei phones have horrible video even when photo is pretty decent.
For me, the S9+ is the most rounded phone I have ever had and it has no real deal-breakers, like all the others I had.
S9+ is very well rounded device. I have both S9 and S9+, and I must say battery is very very good. I get on average 6-7 hrs sot and over a day usage on S9+ and my wife can go 2.5 days on a single charge on her S9 with 4-5 hrs sot. She not as heavy a user as me but def on the moderate to heavy usage side of things. She finishes with about 15% left, me about 11% battery left. Battery life is fantastic IMO.
thanks for your answer, it was very insightful, I didn't know about the burn in information before you comment, after looking this up it doesn't appear to be something I should be concerned about. also the mate 10 pro is listed as having a AMOLED display so the issue would be present in both I guess. I'm glad to see that the battery life of the S9+ is good.
thanks for sharing your experience, 6 hours of screen time is all I really need, the s9+ you have, is it exynos or Snapdragon ? 1:40m of charge time is actually quite decent, I placed my facts on numbers posted by people online, it seems that their S9+ charges in 2:30h. thanks to your comment I'm leaning more toward the S9+ more now.
galaxy S9+ pro? the S9+ is the ultimate eye candy, excellent battery life, sound is great now with dolby and never heard of the Mate 10 Pro.
I don't know what kind of moron is saying that the S9+ is charging in 2:30, but I always get it at 1:40 and most people get the same times.
Take a look at these:
https://youtu.be/Oy2HXrDNpYA
https://youtu.be/HCWTfuBZ2hA
https://youtu.be/GR55y1O-bgM
I have Exynos version, but is supposed that Snapdragon is a little bit better regarding battery life. I'm happy with the device and so far I haven't had any problem with it.
your reply is very assuring. 6 SOT is more than I need actually. you guys actually have 2, so 2 testimonials, this is very assuring, thank you.
LMAO ur proving my point, my friend has a mate 9. in every social event. oh this boxy looking phone looks cool, what is it ?, it's Huwaei Mate 9. . . . . MMM wut?.... u know huwaei the company the make routers ....... oh really!? u mean the chinese company......... sigh yes... ah cool chinese phone, looks flashy
I think you get them from wish.com for $4-5.
Had the mate 10 pro, kept it for 3 months then sold it. Camera was truly VERY BAD...all due to oversharpening...everything looked like an oil painting.
Software updates were another big problem... 1 update every three months.
I found the screen perfectly fine...not as good as the S9 + though.... but you are paying top dollar for the s9+.
Sold mine for a big loss too.... price on these plummets... so don't expect to take a minor hit on any resale.
And.... Might not be of importance !!!.... but the mate 10 pro has the street cred of a 3 wheeled Robin Reliant (go look it up) !!!!
On the other hand...The S9+ takes great photos. Has frequent updates. Superb screen. Wireless charging. Fast fingerprint scanner.....you know which one I'm going to recommend !!!!
Hope this helps.
"3 wheeled Robin Reliant"!!!! the line of the month!!!
And yes the fingerprint scanner is very very good.
double post
Guys I haven't had time to reply here since I went out me and my friend went out last Thursday and got 2 titanium gray s9 plus!.
There is a lot to be said but for now its suffice to say I love it! I'm blown by this amazing phone. My friend sold both his iphone 8 and iphone x and today he bought his second so plus, liliac purple. If u guys want to see pics of the phones check the post out out on @Headon_collision on Instagram. I'm still discovering the phone and I'll comment more in few days
Are you experiencing the low volome notification issues? Some users are saying they can barely hear the notification or had missed calls. Even though the volume was turned up all the way.
No such problem. Volume is good with everything. We are currently experiencing a heatwave 45c outdoors and I'm very impressed on how efficient the heat dissipation is on this device, indoors 30c ambient the cpu and battery are both 35c. Outdoors they both dont seems to go over 43c degrees in 40c ambient
@Galaxo60 - I've just got an SM-G965F - immediately had to flash another firmware to get VoWifi - what do you mean by properly configuring the device?
Just remove apps you don't use, and disable background activity of "Android System" and you will be good.
I came from the Mate 10 Pro, wasn't impressed with the camera

Now that you guys have had the device for some time, do you regret buying it?

I'm not sure whether to buy it or buy the realme6 or the samsung A51
I don't regret getting this device
I like the performance,screen,battery,camera
This phone is great for the price
Only thing I didn't really liked is miui cause it felt like the battery was draining more than it should but I tried a couple of custom ROMs and now running evolution x & so far I love it!
I'd say if you got money to spend you can always get the latest & greatest flagship or whatever
But if you're looking for a good priced phone with 2020 standards than the note 9s is perfect

Coming from Galaxy Note 10 Lite this phone is just better in every way except camera software. I can't believe how good it is. I only had mine for a couple of weeks but I'm more than impressed.
0 regret, I wanted a big screen, it's big and I have 0 ghosting/leaking issue, better screen in that regard than redmi note 7 imo.
Battery life is massive, camera is ok not great (don't care)
Custom ROMs are already quite good, a few last things to fix like no notification led and they'll be perfect
Love this device, its perfect, no regrets at all
Compared to Realme 6
Front Glass - Gorilla Glass 5 vs Gorilla Glass 3
Back - Gorilla Glass 5 vs Plastic
Screen size 6.67 vs 6.5
Processor Qualcomm SM7125 Snapdragon 720G (8 nm) vs Mediatek MT6785 Helio G90T (12 nm)
Selfie camera f/2.5, (wide) [email protected]/120fps vs f/2.0, 26mm (wide) [email protected]
Battery 5020 mAh vs 4300 mAh
Fast charging 33W vs 30W
Infrared Yes vs No
I don't think Realme 6 is worth it mainly because of the Processor, Snapdragon is durable and firmware can be easily modified as compared to Mediatek processors
A51 features are way too outdated and I don't think there should be a comparison, apart from that Samsung software is always full of bugs, unlike MIUI that is the best android around
"MIUI is the best android"...well...as long as you don't need wifi that is reliable and where you can trust that you'll receive your notifications also when display is off... ?
No regrets at all in fact I am really happy with it. I used this device more than three months now and all are working perfectly fine since the first day I bought it. I don't have any issue with WiFi and yes I already check my router logs every two or three times a day, for about three days and all are fine no errors or something like that. I can receive emails, whatsapp etc without any delays. No problem with call dropping and no screen bleeding issue. BTW mine is Malaysia official set.
Same for me in Italy, i have the global version

Question Just got Nord 2 5g, previously had 9 Pro

I smashed up my 9 pro so while its off for repair i got a nord 2 and im not joking this phone is so much better. the dimensions are better, the 9 pro is too long and skinny. the flat display is 100x better, i told myself i would never get a curved display against after my samsung s6 edge but reviewers convinced me by saying the curves on the 9 pro where subtle, flat is so much better and curved displays shouldnt exist. it has the same battery capacity and charging speed. it has a 90hz refresh rate which to me is an upgrade as well it means less battery wasted and my 9 pro felt extremely stuttery because of its adaptive refresh rate each update is different, last update chrome was a stuttery disgrace. it has the same haptics, the same main sensor as far as i know but on that note i was never impressed with the 9 pro's camera, i took some pictures in pro mode which is supposed to have hasselblad colours 10.0.0.0.1 192.168.1.254 and ive never seen grass look so fake and luminous green in my life. i took 1 indoor picture of my dog on the nord 2 and im convinced the 9 pro could have never taken such a picture, the photo processing seems way improved.
i cant fathom how this is 1/3rd of the price pretty much. i wont be getting a flagship oneplus again.
I'm sick of OPN2 , lack of updates for long , long time , poor technical support , awful MTK optimisation for sites and apks . Meantime I bought also Samsung A52s , totally disappointed again ... It has some hybrid hardware to minimize the manufacturer costs but a great support . Battery also better but.... I didn't liked both at all so for a couple weeks I bought Nothing Phone .
Nothing compares with it !
It's awesome !!!
