My model is LM-G850FMW, which is a Chinese version. But LG has already withdrawn from China, and I cannot find the firmware. Now my phone cannot be turned on, I need a firmware. Can you provide me with a firmware? Or method. I can’t find this firmware anywhere.

Hi forum members, so when my Huawei Mediapad failed afew months ago I bought a used Orange Tahiti (is a mediapad in different clothing) to replace it not realising it would be locked to Uk Orange network.
So I requested and paid for an unlock code which I received, but it did not work and I'm told because I updated the firmware from android 3.2. to 4.0.3.
So I want to get it back to the original Orange firmware (they won't provide it btw) so i can try that unlock code again.
So some questions if you could help answer all or even one or two please:-
1. Anybody got a OEM/ STOCK - ROM / FIRMWARE for the Orange Tahiti they can send me please, even make a copy from their Tahiti to send? I understand it may be referenced S7-301u V100R001C237B017 (UK Orange)(05010UYB) but the link within the XDADev site does not work.
2. Now assuming i am lucky enough to get a copy of this ROM, other than updating I'm a little unclear on how to go back, can somebody advise me please? I assume i'll need to instal some rom manager tool so hence my next question...
3. Is anyone able to give me a brief and simple overview of how roms and android devices boot and from where, i.e. What is a bootloader, what is fastboot mode, how does Clockworkmod fit in please?
4. I did locate a version of android 3.2. NOT THE ORANGE ONE I Want, and tried to flash the mediapad via the rom on an SD card dload folder but it just gave a "FAIL" notice on screen

Hello, I made the mistake of trying to use a remote unlocking service on eBay to unlock my LS992, but the person performing the operation somehow managed to brick my phone. The device is stuck on download mode, and though he attempted to re-flash the firmware it was unsuccessful. I was on the line with him for several hours with no fix in sight. He claims that the phone was on software version ZVA, but I am unable to confirm that as the phone is bricked, however, when I connect to LGUP it reports the version as LS992V3. I'm not sure if it is correct.
So the bottom line is, I would like to try to reflash the phone for myself, but I am unable to find the .dll files for the Sprint variant anywhere to flash with LG UP. I'm also unsure of what version stock firmware I should flash, as he said that flashing the wrong firmware might hard brick. Any insight on what to do will be greatly appreciated, or at the very the correct .dll file to use when flashing.

I have used Odin several times to repair phones and remove FRP (by downgrading so it becomes possible). However, last time I almost bricked a phone by downloading non compatible firmware for it. It was the right model, but something else was wrong (maybe binary). It would not even connect to pc anymore at first but I managed to fix it eventually with other firmware.
So my question is how can I download the correct firmware in the future, I know how to check which firmware is on the phone already and what binary it should have, by going into download mode. Can someone please specify:
-What things to pay attention to, like model number and binary.
-How to identify the right firmware
-What do all the letters after the model number (G950U, galaxy S8 US version) mean in for example this firmware name: G950UOYN2BQL1

Good morning/afternoon/night. I am here for some advice. A few months ago I soft-bricked my Tab S3 Wifi and accidentally flashed the Chinese CSH8 firmware in order to fix it. I didn't think much about it until I realized that Magisk was missing. So I decided to flash TWRP again using ODIN. But once I went to Developer Options, OEM Unlock was also missing. I then went to download mode (which says the standard stuff but in chinese) and tried to flash TWRP. Guess what? It again says some chinese gibberish, but this time its different. (I think) it says the following: "Installation Failed" "You need to unlock the device to install a custom operating system. For information on how to unlock the device, refer to https://www.samsung.com/cn about your device model. Press the power button to restart." Upon going to the chinese website, I again see chinese stuff which my translator can't handle. I need help as it is impossible for me to root with this. I am including the pictures of the download mode and ask me for anymore information. Please help. Have a good day.

I got my phone bricked. I tried to flash global rom and switched back to China using Realme Flash Tool which is a bat file I found here. I cannot enter recovery/fastboot/edl. How am I going to fix it? I have downloaded the original firmware file along with msm download tool. Any way to access to msm? Please help me.

my phone came with the chianes rom so i unlock the bootloader and install the global one from here then everything were fine but when i try to re-lock the bootloader again this happen

beacuse you tried flashing with locked bootloader. Only hope is service center. or MSM download tool. Some guys are selling code for 3-10 USD. I dont have contact. So dont PM me.
