I've been keeping an eye on the Google Android OTA site (which hasn't posted the update yet). I imagine it will be available there first.

I've been refreshing the OTA site throughout the day and still no image there.
Hopefully it will be available soon

Big problem is I could not find the tongue-in-cheek emoji for my post

Here's a sobering thought. It won't come today but on the 20th. Some folks who ordered the 2nd gen Pixel stand are saying today's email said something like, 'please keep your phone updated so you will be ready for the December patch due out later this month'.

Expect it by the end of the day. Usually see it around lunch PST but I am sure they will announce if it won't make it today.

From my shipping email for a Pixel Stand 2nd Generation (email received about 25 minutes ago):
1 - Beginning later this week, the December 2021 software update will roll out for Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro users. We encourage you to check your Android version and update to receive the latest software. This update may not be immediately available for all regions at launch. To determine when this update will be available for your Pixel, please refer to the Pixel support forum.

Seems like Google is going backwards here.
Step 1, release update for older models
Step 2, release latest model's update for several countries
Step 3, ?US market?
Step 4, take over the world

Obviously it's not coming today. Would've been released by now. Did Google explicitly & directly say themselves that it would drop on the 13th? Or was it reported from 3rd parties that it would?

Too many people are saying the update is released in countries other than the USA. It's nowhere in the wild.
Edit: apologies for that. I have looked everywhere for any mention of it anywhere and found nothing. Then this popped up on my phone, I'm in the UK

More info about ICS from Motorola here
PHASE 1 – EVALUATION & PLANNING: During this phase, we evaluate the benefits, technical issues and user experience of an upgrade. Generally, we are not able to provide release dates in this stage. There are also some cases in which we can state that an upgrade will happen but are not able to provide a release date. Please note that some products that enter the Evaluation and Planning phase may not complete the upgrade cycle.
PHASE 2 – DEVELOPMENT: This phase represents the development of the software upgrade. When a device is in the Development Phase, we will provide an estimated calendar quarter for its availability. This date and the development activities are subject to change.
PHASE 3 – TESTING: Testing is an important phase to ensure that an upgrade works properly and delivers an improved experience. Testing time may vary depending on the device and carrier requirements. Once a potential upgrade enters this phase, Motorola Mobility will provide the approximate month that we expect an over-the-air (OTA) upgrade to become available to consumers. Availability still depends upon completion of testing and certification by carriers or relevant authorities.
PHASE 4 – AVAILABLE: Once the upgrade is approved by the carrier or local regulators, Motorola Mobility will note on this site that the software is available. In most cases, consumers will receive a notification on their device that the OTA upgrade is available. An available upgrade or update may be rolled out over a period of time in order to best manage the deployment volume and experience. At times, a small testing group is provided the upgrade before it's made available to a larger group. On your Motorola Android Phone or Tablet, you can go to Settings ⇒ About Phone/Tablet ⇒ System Updates to manually check for an OTA upgrade. All estimated release dates are based on available information and are subject to change.

Quater 2 2012? What do you think?
FOK!
if Q1 was changed to Q2 it means that Q2 could be changed to Q3 in the future... :-(
Why I only did believed motorola that the update will be in Q1 as they promised and bought that bloody razr... :-((

LOL.. I Agree with you..
The reason Motorola is The duration of each cycle varies and in some cases is dependent on our carrier partners’ requirements. As our products complete each phase, we get closer to releasing upgrades and therefore we can provide a better estimate as to its availability
To late for Razr & Bionic.. No Q1
One things for certain, I won't have any Motorola devices by then!
The funny thing is, my wife's HTC Desire S is going to get ICS before my RAZR. And HTC have had to come up with Sense 4.0 - a significant piece of work!
Motorola need to ease up on the device releases and start devoting some resource to support.
Google: "hey moto, we are your new owners... can we have a look on your ICS dev progress?"
Motorola: "oh.. this? lol, we even didnt start to build it..."
Google: "so... why did you told everybody about coming soon ICS rom?"
Motorola: "ehh... you know... we didnt want to get many pressure from the customers."
Google: "jesus christ what an idiots.. okay, listen up! why dont you start building ICS for your devices?"
Motorla: "oh come on man, why are you ruin all the fun? we dont to start with this ****ty stuff."
Google: "monkeys, do as i said or else."
Motorola: "okay okay, what a party pooper... lets start with this **** guys"
Motorola: "can we change the date to Q2 or whatever?"
Google: "well, okay."
Motorola: "maybe E3 2014?"
it is funny how moto has been giving the shaft with no dates until the day after GooGle takes over.
something i made for making some laugh
I hope that the situation won't be the same as with HTC Hero a time ago. Postponing update for almost half a year. When it already rolled out it turned out to be a real crap. Hope Moto will get a grip on itself and roll out the update in the beginning of the Q2...

Nougat for Axon 7 coming "in the next two weeks or so."

http://www.androidcentral.com/zte-doesnt-actually-know-what-people-want
TL;DR: Jeff Yee, Vice President of Technology Partnerships and Planning for ZTE North America:
"Before any decisions are made about the future of Project CSX, the company's current flagship, the Axon 7, is poised to get updated to Android 7.0 Nougat in early February. Yee says that Google has received the final Nougat build, which includes long-awaited Daydream support, and is going through the process of certifying the release for public use. That process should wrap up in the coming days, and users of the sold-unlocked device can look forward to an update in the next two weeks or so."
"...or so." I'll look for it at the end of February at the earliest.
also from the article:
"Yee says that Google has received the final Nougat build, which includes long-awaited Daydream support, and is going through the process of certifying the release for public use. That process should wrap up in the coming days, and users of the sold-unlocked device can look forward to an update in the next two weeks or so."
Unless it's near vanilla Nougat, and that abomination called Power Manager has been completely removed and killed with fire, I am not interested. Lineage is working wonderfully and I see no reason why ZTE would bring anything useful to the table based on the B27 and B29 updates.
My opinion, for what it's worth.
that article is bull****. the nougat beta doesnt seem to be anywhere close to ready....
I thought they would release 7.1 with Daydream?

They gonna get me that's for sure....Their timeline for nougat has been much better than most other OEM's. And their help was invaluable in getting CM up and running which is pretty much the bigg at reason I actually bought the phone in the first place...If only I could find a decent glass screen protector this would be a 11/10
I was planning to go with the S8 once it is out (assuming unlocked bootloader). But after all ZTE did to help get CM up and running I am going to wait for the AXON 8 instead!

No it's not, not by a long shot. Since when is an update nearly a year after initial release so good? Even companies notorious for slow releases like Samsung have beaten them to the punch. The only one which comes to mind which has delayed as much as them is LG and they're being torn apart for it.

They've done the absolute bare minimum and did far less than any of the random developers here who wanted to get it done. There is literally zero ROMs that you can honestly thank them for, in fact if they weren't so stubborn and just gave us the material to work with we could have come up with plenty long ago. Go ahead and use one of those ROMs, which ZTE did nothing to help with just to be perfectly clear, if you don't mind losing functionality like access to the Hi-Fi DAC. ZTE are by far one of the worst companies when it comes to support that I've ever heard of. Interesting that a lack of screen protectors is what keeps it from being an "11" when it's camera practically doesn't function in medium light, there's random bugs all over the place, and there's still even enough typos to make the entire thing seem like a bad joke.
Even if they do deliver now, it'd be too little too late. I've had this phone for half a year and they haven't kept a single promise. Only empty hype which has never once resulted in something tangible.
I like this mtfk

Given how A2017G users are treated, maybe February 2018?

LG G6 Android Oreo update will arrive in Europe by the end of June / Good Bye my G6

The LG V30 is already happily running Android Oreo in some parts of the world (most notably the company's home country of South Korea). The G6, on the other hand, hasn't been as lucky. Back in October a unit running Oreo appeared in a benchmark, and then around the end of last year we found out that LG was running a beta test of the software in China.
If you were wondering when the finalized version of LG's interpretation of Oreo would finally reach Europe, for example, we may now have the answer. According to the company's official website for Italy, the G6 is expected to be graced with the update in the first half of this year. Here's a screenshot proving the above.

That unfortunately means that, in the worst case scenario, you will have to wait until late June to see the tasty treat on your G6, a handset that isn't even one year old at this point. LG Italy's official Twitter account has pinned down the update time frame even more - to the second quarter (so at some point between April and June).
Source
Of course you are free to do what you want with your phone, but doesn't that reaction seem kind of irrational? Trash an otherwise good phone because you have to wait a few more months for an update (and not that big an update at that)?
To me its really a matter of expectations.
When you buy a toaster or a refrigerator do you become angry and get rid of it after a year because the manufacturer doesn't upgrade your product after you buy it?
Did LG promise you or advertise when you bought the phone that you will get updates on a schedule?
No I don't work for LG
You think his reaction is bad? You should see the LG G6 subreddit.. I think LG will lose many customers after their very blasé approach to dealing with software updates.

bad for me i have lg g6+
Last time I've checked, Polish LG rep said that we should get Oreo on G6 around February. He posted that screenshot from above last week and now there's a news from LG Italy that Oreo will arrive in Q2 2018...
Let's wait till the end of February and check if LG is f.cking their customers with loads of bull.
If they are, the customers should f.ck them when the new LG phones get released.
I respectfully disagree. How many of their average customers care about updates?
People who comment on forums are a select (weird) group, probably a very small % of the customers. For those folks, timely updates are important.
I am a bit of a technophile myself, and although updates are fun, more important are the long term useability and durability.

BTW found the discussion on Twitter, seems they're discussing about a test (i say "they" because i don't know if the screen is yours), who knows, usually Poland is the first country in Europe to receive Major updates in LG History, but the KDZ didn't pop up yet...
I'm calling out that there is an elephant in the room.
This might sound kind of provocative, but could it be that LG concluded that Oreo is not really a major update, and is therefore not in a rush to get it on existing models?
It seems to me that there is a lot of hype in new versions.
When I look at the list of the new "features" in Oreo, it's really quite unimpressive. Picture in picture? Icons that change shape? Who cares? It's a much smaller difference than say Kit Kat to Lollipop.
Of course when you buy a new model phone you want the latest software on it.
But just because Android came out with a new version number it doesn't mean its that much different. Modern OSs are pretty evolved and full featured now, so many improvements are basically stylistic changes that are like getting new style clothing.
Most of the things that Google hypes as major changes are more like minor tweaks. Other than the security updates, can anybody tell me how Oreo is any more functional than Marshmallow?
Also , many of the evolutionary improvements are pushed through the Google system app update anyway. Anything else can be obtained via other launchers
Just playing the contrarian here...

I'm in the UK too and have LTE band 20 also, all the A3's have band 20.
(I purchased in Mumbai, India on a work trip, so definitely the "Global" model, even says so on the box).
GSM Arena lists no difference in the bands either. I think the confusion is coming from the fact there's a third version of this phone for the Chinese market running Miui, and that is locked down but has a totally different model name.

Take it to T-Mobile to get it fixed. They most likely don't have it up because all devices from T-Mobile are locked by carrier.
Everytime i go to tmobile for any request, it's always like they their first time doing it (whatever it is).
These people need to be trained on stuff other than the check my balance requests.
I figured if i go to them it'll just be a waste of time.

Try contacting their phone support or go to a corporate store instead of an affiliate location.
A corporate store is worth a try i guess.
There are no stock ROMs available yet. Your only options at the moment are to take it back to a T-Mobile store or get it repaired (under warranty) by OnePlus
Did a warranty replacement from T-Mobile.
Hopefully we can get the stock rom with Amazon & BB selling unlocked version.

I've got an unlocked and bootloader-unlocked phone - I bought it from OnePlus directly.
If there's an easy way to get the bootloader from an unlocked phone, I'm definitely willing to try it. Everything seems to require a working custom recovery, though, at the very least.
See the discussion in https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/can-anyone-upload-the-boot-img-if-they-can-find-it.4303179/ - it's a very similar problem, and if we get a boot.img that can be patched for root access, grabbing the stock rom should be fairly easy too.
There's a major problem: OnePlus has abandoned this phone

There's a big difference between abandoning a phone and simply not *yet* providing support.
If this phone was 2 or 3 years old I'd believe you. But that's not the case.
The OnePlus Nord N200 5G was released June 25th, 2021. It's only been a little over a month! And they're actively selling them on their website *and partnering with T-Mobile*.
We'll see if they ever release the ROMs - it's a very cheap phone, so they might not. But I would be very surprised if they abandon the phone within this year, and they *certainly* have not abandoned it yet.
It's not abandoned yet.. it's waaay too early.
I inquired oneplus support regarding the firmware.

Then where's official accessory?
It's been 6 weeks (I bought it at Jun 25)
I bought a case at T-Mobile store and I put on tempered glass for N10

I suspect they don't plan to make any, the phone is too cheap and they are partnering with T-Mobile to sell it.
I think the T-Mobile store accessories are as official as we're going to get.
That doesn't mean they've abandoned it. They are just treating this phone as less important than their premium ones. And given the price, that seems reasonable.

Unfortunately, it's incremental OTA which requires previous version boot.img
