Hi,
my SG Watch 4 (BT) ist the most time of the day in airplane mode.
2 or 3 Times a day i manually turn on Bluetooth to synchronize with my phone.
I am looking for a way to turn on BT automaticly for e.g. every 2 hours for 5 minutes.
Tasker e.g. seems to work only when the watch is connected to the phone.
Any hint for me?

Hey everyone. I was wondering if there is a way to set the phone to turn wifi on when the phone sleeps every 20 minutes (for a 2 minute period) so the phone can sync with google voice/ other services (we don't have a data plan).
Here is why I ask. I got a android phone for my wife and she is on a prepaid plan with no data. She is around wifi most of the time. We wanted to cut out carrier texting by using google voice as her texting platform. Currently, If I text her google voice number, she will not see the SMS until she turns her phone on because wifi is set to turn off when the screen is off. I can also change the wifi setting to keep wifi running even when the screen is off, but that seems like overkill (and probably negatively affects the battery life)....So I was looking for a way/app so the phone can turn wifi on every 20 min (for 2 min) so if she has recieved any SMS, the google voice app can sync and alert her that a SMS has arrived.
Thanks in advance.
If you don't mind dishing out £3.99 ($6USD) then 'Tasker' on the market is a great app to control your phones functions. For example, you can have it turn on airplane mode between 00:00-07:00 but have it flip off for a few minutes every hour to sync and recieve texts/calls etc. I use it and it also helps save battery life!

You can modify build.prop file. I'm not sure is that for syncing or scanning networks.
Sent from my IDEOS S7 Slim using XDA App
try ultimate juice, you can make it so that wifi turns on every 5/15/30 minutes for 1 minute to sync.
Hi,
I drive a motorbike every day and 80% of the time the gear fit 2 automatically detect that I'm cycling!
I tried to disable the auto detect mode but I cannot find how.
Does any one knows how to do this?
Thanks.
Hi All
So I've found Bluetooth is the biggest battery drain, turned on my watch lasts 2 days, turned off I get over a week. So I've found I'm normally running it in Plane mode, then manually having to switch it off to sync up each evening.
Could anybody suggest a means of turning this on and off automatically via a scheduler?
Thanks

There is Auto Airplane on/off scheduler in the watch settings.
For your convenience, you may also use PaceOn app to manually control your Bluetooth/Wifi with ease.
How did I not spot this!
Perfect, thank you..
So I've been using my Amazfit Watch for about 6 months.
I'm getting consistent Battery life of 7 days using WOS 2.6.2.0 with my Mi Max 2 on the Xtended ROM.
Absolutely impressed and wondering if there is any benefit or need to look at the Amazfit Stratos?

It made it just over 7 days from the last charge and got to 5% and wouldn't connect to sync again. With previous rom installs I only noticed around 5-6 days total.
Is this with or without connection to phone? What settings are you using? I'm getting 4-5 days (10ish% left) with connection to phone for notifications and sync manually 2 - 3 times a day by opening the Amazfit app on the phone. I have Amazemod installed on the phone(without the service apk on watch), music streaming disabled and auto aiplane mode from 23:00 till 6:00.

Okay I'll lay out what I've done..
- Watch face is prototype source
- Brightness is on Auto
- Phone is connected to Watch via BT / No wifi / no notifications
- I don't do any routine manual syncs, just go into the app to check my performance occasionally
- Music streaming disabled
- I didn't even realise there was an airplane auto feature, so have just set that now for 9pm to 6am. Hopefully it still collects sleep data.
Not sure I've done much else, except on the phone I've turned off background activity for the Amazfit app and added the app to Greenify.
So you do not use music or notifications?
Honestly... You can set you watch to be in Always airplane mode and only disable it when you want to sync with app. It will still track your sleep and activities.
Your battery performance will be increased even more I think.

No music from the watch and actually the only notifications were weather updates. I def want sleep and activities tracked, so that's all good.
I can't get the watch to detect names when someone calls, so I guess I might set auto airplane mode to allow 30mins for updating in the middle of the night, otherwise I'll keep it off and see how it goes.
Hello !!
I have had the Amazfit GTS for three months and it worked perfectly.
I had it linked to two different mobiles, an iPhone and an Android.
I could use one or the other to download sports activities and check steps, sleep etc ...
With the update to Zepp it has stopped synchronizing with the iPhone, it cannot connect.
On Android it works perfectly.
I would like to be able to continue using both phones, but it can't connect, it tells me to reset the clock and try again.
Can any of you have two different phones connected?
Not at the same time, turning off the other's BT first.
Greetings.
Tested!
Not at the same time.
Connect GTS to iphone with Zeep account A then tủrn off iphone Bluetooth
Then sign on to Zeep account A on the Android phone and connect bluetooth with GTS.
Now. When you want to connect to what phone to receive notification, then just tủrn off bluetooth on the other phone. GTS will automatic connect to the first phone it see to show the notification and syscn the activities.
