Since the release of various industry reports and corresponding event tracking solutions, Analytics Kit has helped a large number of developers from various industries achieve efficient operations and business growth. Recently, a number of performance and function updates have been made to Analytics Kit 6.3.2, for more convenient user data analysis.
Here's what's new:
Added the function of audience creation by importing files, helping you group users for precise operations.
Added the function of audience synchronization to HUAWEI Ads, for targeted marketing.
Added the server SDK, allowing you to quickly call relevant capabilities.
Enhanced analysis models, for in-depth data analysis.
Create Audiences by Importing Files for Easy User Grouping
Audience creation using user labels and events relies on users' in-app behavior. However, for some scenarios, such as offline purchases, this method does not work because payment-related labels are unavailable for such users. Luckily, Analytics Kit 6.3.2 has solved this problem. You can download and fill in the template with AAIDs or user IDs, and upload it to easily create an audience.

After importing the audience, you can use the filter function to analyze the audience in a detailed manner. Meanwhile, you can create another audience by combining imported audiences.
Synchronize Audiences to HUAWEI Ads for Targeted Marketing
Over recent years, payment conversion results have been poor compared to the rising cost of marketing, and this has highlighted the need for targeted marketing.
To meet your need, Analytics Kit allows you to synchronize audiences created through the audience analysis function to HUAWEI Ads. You can analyze the audiences to learn about their product needs, and then deliver corresponding ads through HUAWEI Ads to realize targeted operations. In this way, you can effectively promote the payment conversion of potential customers and boost the ROI of ads.
Reduce Workload with the Server SDK
Currently, Analytics Kit provides the APIs for importing custom user attributes and reporting user behavior. To reduce your workload and allow you to call API capabilities more conveniently, the server SDK is now available for you to integrate.
Analyze Data with Advanced Analysis Models
For you to implement in-depth data analysis, the current analysis models have been optimized from dimensions including user experience, performance, and UI.
For instance, when analyzing a parameter of a specific event, you can select a value from the drop-down list box, while in earlier versions, you have to manually enter a value. On top of this, tables on the Paid traffic and Payment analysis pages have also been optimized to display user data clearly.

Let's see which functions of HUAWEI Analytics Kit 5.0 have been improved.
Support for the iOS SDK
Analytics Kit has been enhanced to support the iOS SDK and Android SDK for meeting your cross-platform analysis needs. It achieves one-stop unified analysis across platforms with users at its core, as users' behaviors will no longer be segmented.
If you have more than one app type (iOS, Android) or app in your project, you can view the overall analysis report or the analysis report specific to a certain app type or app by using filters. You can also compare the user behavior for different platforms and apps to make targeted operations strategies based on certain user groups, delivering a better experience for them.
Support for Potential Forecast and Churn Forecast of User Lifecycle
The user lifecycle overview and user analysis of each phase have been updated to support potential forecast and churn forecast. With one click you can save both the estimated potentially growing and lost users as audiences for precision marketing or targeted operations.
In addition, you can filter data by app, app type, or user attributes. The segment analysis of the lifecycle report can help you gain insights into user behavior during different phases of the lifecycle. You can then identify user lifecycle rules and adjust operations strategies accordingly.
Custom Overview Update
The custom overview of Analytics Kit has been fully updated to provide predefined indicators and cards. You can combine them as needed to create a custom overview.
Optimized Funnel Analysis
Funnel analysis has been improved so that you can use the same event in different steps to conduct drill-down analysis. One-click copy allows you to create a funnel based on an existing one, without the need to set the same events and parameters. You can also quickly build a funnel model by changing the order of the logged events.
Functions such as version distribution, audience analysis, app debugging, and data export have been optimized as well. Feel free to try out the updates.

We’ve added two new sections to reports, giving you useful data such as core sales indicators and sales conversion rates:
Product sales analysis: Shows the GMV, order quantity, number of users who made purchases, details page views, payment conversion rate, and refund data. You can also filter sales data by time segment, app, user attribute, and audience.
Product category analysis: Shows the total purchases, number of users who made purchases, and sales for each product category. You can also add additional filters.
1.2 Understand players' behavior with gaming industry analysis
Gaming industry analysis provides you with data such as core revenue indicators and user analysis, so you can measure your game's overall performance and identify opportunities for growth.
Game top-up analysis: Shows changes in indicators such as average revenue per paying user, average revenue per active user, top-up payment rate, top-up user level, and top-up user retention rate.
Virtual currency analysis: Shows the number of new users consuming virtual currency and the consumption of virtual currency. You can also drill down by app, user attribute, and audience.
Levels and items: Shows data about leveling up and usage of items by user level.
User analysis: Shows the number of users and total consumption by consumption range, as well as play time and payments for new users and active users.
1.3 See which marketing channels work with marketing attribution analysis
The marketing attribution report measures the degree to which a push message contributes to a target conversion event, and helps you optimize your push messages.
1.4 See where your users come from with install referrer analysis
By configuring matching and parsing rules for an install referrer, you can obtain its attribution report, which tells you where your newly subscribed users have come from. You can then tailor your approach for users from different sources.
We're always finding ways to provide you with intelligent, convenient, and secure data analytics services, and are now exploring specific scenarios based on Huawei's "1+8+N" ecosystem, to help you develop apps according to what users want.

Precise targeting of users is very important when you release new product features or organize marketing activities. Precise targeting, however, is not a simple process. For example, how do you push messages that users are interested in without disturbing them, divide users into groups and push messages accordingly, and trigger message sending based on users' behavior and interests?
HUAWEI Analytics Kit, along with App Messaging, can help answer these questions.
What are HUAWEI Analytics Kit and App Messaging?
HUAWEI Analytics Kit is a free-to-use data analysis service for app operations personnel to track how users behave in apps and facilitate precise data-driven operations. Applicable to multiple platforms such as Android, iOS, and web, and various types of devices such as mobile phones and tablets, it can automatically generate more than 10 types of analysis reports based on users' behavior events.

App Messaging triggers in-app messages in specific scenarios according to users' behavior events. It provides a large selection of templates for message display, including pop-ups, banners, and images, and supports custom formats with a variety of configurable message elements, encompassing images, colors, content, buttons, and redirections.
Message recipients vary according to dimensions, including the app version, system version, language, country or region, audience generated by HUAWEI Analytics Kit, and user attribute. App Messaging can help you enhance user loyalty for sustainable growth.
Examples of scenarios where HUAWEI Analytics Kit and App Messaging are applicable
Example 1: The funnel analysis function of HUAWEI Analytics Kit was used for a game app, and it was discovered that the pass rate of the fourth level of the game was far lower than that of previous ones. To prevent users from churning, the operations team decided to push in-app messages about gift packs that could help pass the fourth level to players who failed to pass this level more than twice, so as to encourage the players to continue trying and therefore reducing the churn rate.
In addition, when new players complete a task designed for beginners, a message about gift packs for new players can be pushed to them to help enhance their interest in the game and improve user retention.
Example 2: Through HUAWEI Analytics Kit's retention analysis and audience analysis functions, the operations team of an online education app found that users who added courses to favorites were more likely to be retained than others. Therefore, to enhance the user retention rate, the operations team decided to push a message that encouraged users to add the course they have joined to favorites.
Moreover, for e-commerce apps, messages about discounts and stock shortage can also be automatically pushed to users after they add a product to the shopping cart but have not paid, in order to improve the payment rate.
It takes you only 5 minutes to integrate HUAWEI Analytics Kit, which helps you achieve scenario-specific precise targeting and improve the conversion rate of active users.

* Example of the audience analysis report
Let's see three methods to group users using the audience analysis function.
Method 1: Customizing an Audience with User Labels and Events
An audience can be created using various user labels and through events reported by the Analytics SDK. Suppose you want to target Huawei phone users that used your shopping app to purchase products at least twice in the last 30 days, but want to exclude users that have been inactive for the last two weeks. You can use labels and events to define such users as an audience in order to send them targeted push notifications or in-app messages.
* Example of creating an audience
Method 2: Creating an Audience by Importing a File
Analytics Kit 6.3.2 adds the audience import function. This function allows you to create audiences that cannot be created by using labels and events. To create such audiences, simply download and fill in the template, and then upload it.
For example, if you are running a large-scale operations campaign with online and offline payment channels, to analyze the payment habits of users who pay offline, you can use the import function to import such users as an audience. You can then use the filter function to analyze the behavior of users in the audience.
* Example of the audience analysis report
Method 3: Creating an Audience by Combining Existing Audiences
You can also create an audience by combining existing audiences, including preset audiences, audiences created by using the two aforementioned methods, and audiences predicted using the Prediction service.
Because users who display low activity levels are at high risk of churning, promoting user activity is a very important task. Creating audiences using existing audiences is a quick and easy way of refining your app operations to target users who are at the risk of churning.
Let's use the goal of increasing new user retention as an example. You can create an audience by combining two existing audiences: new users and users who become inactive after using your app for the first time. This allows you to send targeted promotions to such users to increase their retention rate using the SMS, Remote Configuration, and Push Kit services.
* Example of the audience analysis report
In addition to the three aforementioned methods, you can also create audiences based on the funnel analysis, retention analysis, and user lifecycle reports.

2. Streamlined Data Export Page, Displaying Key Tasks Clearly
The data export function enables you to download event data so that you can import data into your own analysis system to perform your analysis. As you may need to carry out multiple export tasks at once, we have improved the data export list, to allow you to quickly search and find tasks. Now, you can filter and name tasks, as well as delete, or even batch delete, historical export tasks that you no longer need.
3. Python SDK and Node.js SDK, for More Choices to Use APIs
In addition to the SDKs for new platforms, the release of the Python SDK and Node.js SDK on the server side gives you more choices when using APIs. By integrating the server SDKs, you can use APIs easily and conveniently.
4. Sending Back Quick App Conversion Events for Optimal Ad Placement
As the cost of acquiring traffic increases, more and more advertisers hope to obtain high-quality user conversion through precise ad placement. The new version allows quick app conversion events to be sent back at low costs. On HUAWEI Analytics, you can configure conversion events that need to be sent back to HUAWEI Ads, such as app launch, registration, adding products to the shopping cart, making payment, retaining, re-purchasing, rating, sharing, and searching, to optimize the ad placement.
5. Improved Analysis Models for a Better User Interaction Experience
To improve user experience, we have optimized some analysis models to improve usability and display. For example, we have added the page grouping function to page management, allowing you to manage pages on the same tab page by page groups. We have also optimized real-time overview by adjusting the sequence of the selection boxes and supporting fuzzy search to quickly identify target users. Meanwhile, the layout of the attribute distribution card has also undergone improvements.
Moreover, we have changed the former Session path analysis page to the Event path page, and combined it with the Page path analysis page to a new Session path analysis page. We have also added the OS attribute to the filter criteria, which enables you to perform comparison analysis based on different OS versions.
