Guys I think I bricked my MI 11x . It had like 50-60 % charge, it was in my pocket and when I took it out the device is completely dead, not turning on, not charging, not vibrating on long power press, no feedback at all. It is only 3 months old, it is was running on custom Pixel experience rom. Please help what should be my next step, should I take it to service center, is the warranty void???
Just take it to service center but don't mention there about any custom roms etc. They'll change its board. Few years back, I did same with my Redmi Note 3 Kenzo.
Happens to me with in past when i had Mi9t Pro but after few hours (2) when i tried to turn on device it turned on Normally… i was using paranoid or Evolution x beta.
Try holding all 3 buttons pressed for 10 sec for a forced shutdown.

I bought a brand new Xiomi Redmi Note 4 3gb snapdragon variant few days ago. Everything was working perfectly alright all of a sudden, after 1-2 days of usage the phone instantly start turning on and off. The phone just shows the Mi Logo and then turns off and it's in this constant bootloop. I wasn't able to hard reset it as pressing volume up and power button at the same time but the issue is that the language screen appear momentarily and phone just turns off again. I even tried pressing volume down and power button and the fast boot screen appears for like a fraction of second and then just goes away.
It's such a headache that I can't understand how can I get it working again.
I even sent the device to the online store that I bought it from. I packed it in the original packing and sent them. There was no way to turn the Phone off so the battery just drained and it turned off. But when the seller checked it they said that the phone is working fine. They sent it back to me, it just worked for 1 more day and it's still again in the bootloop.
I have read that when you are in bootloop then you just let the battery drain and when you charge it again. It'll start working again. If it's correct, still it's not a solution.
PS: I have not tried to root nor installed any custom rom. I just wanted to know if it's a hardware issue or I need to mess with it's firmware.

Your device is all stock and pure xiaomi. So this seems to be a battery issue. You can go to a xiaomi service center, but if that isn't possible you can even send an email to xiaomi customer care. Just provide the bill of the device, and make sure to provide all the details.

Thanks allot buddy. I'll for sure visit Xiaomi store. Thanks allot for your kind info. I am grateful.
So I have had this phone for a few months the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5A Plus, no problems works well. Tonight I was using my phone about to plug it into the charger when it suddenly just died. I had about 10% of battery power left.
The Battery indicator LED keeps flashing when it is plugged in, but after 30 minutes of charging the phone will not turn on. I have tried pressing an holding all combinations of buttons to get into some sort of Android recovery, but nothing is happening.
My phone is stock global ROM, I have not unlocked it or jailbroken or done anything to the system, it's 100% stock from the factory, with just the latest MIUI updates. Please tell me there is a way to either recover my phone or get it working again? I really don't feel comfortable taking it apart, and since I bought it from Banggood I don't like my chances of getting a refund or replacement.
Any help is much appreciated!
disconect cable of batery 10 minuts solve this problem on Vince shutdown 30%
Hi,
I’ve got a Note 5 AI (SD 636, dual rear camera) that I bought used from eBay, so don’t know much about its history. The phone worked just fine for a couple of days, then, and while I was watching a local video using MxPlayer the screen freezed, then turned black when I pushed to power button. The phone got hanged …….…. it was completely dead, couldn’t force it to power off, nothing happened when plugged to charger, no vibration, no led………
The phone came back to life the day after, when the battery has completely discharged……….so, I charged the phone, did a factory reset, applied all the updates and then launched again my video with MxPlayer, after about 30 min…BANG, hanged, and dead again.
My phone came back again when the battery discharged………after a complete charge, I launched my video using VLC this time and was able to loop the video for more than 8H without problems.
I thought to myself that for some reason my phone doesn’t like MxPlayer, not a big deal, I can live with that………. but yesterday, the bastard did it again, and this time I was watching YouTube. So, I’m waiting right now for the battery to discharge.
What annoys me more than the hanging problems is that I can’t force the phone to power off, I tried all possible buttons combinations without success.
Any ideas or suggestions?
Thanks

I think you can restart phone holding power button for 10 or more seconds.. once you restart your phone, try to do a factory reset..

Fully discharge it and It will shut down I guess... But if that doesn't work you will need EDL flashing... There is a separate section for Redmi Note 5 AI (Whyred) you can share your problem there.

Hi guys please help me out. My redmi note 5 ai dual camera phone went off for no reason a week ago. The phone had xiaomi.eu rom installed 1 year ago and since then I never messed with custom roms or anything. Until last week, the phone was working fine. I left my phone on my bed and 30 minutes later tried to turn on the screen and it wouldn't open. I became scared and tried pressing the power button for a while but still no sign of life. Then I charged the battery for 5 hours to be sure it was not a battery issue but still I saw no signs of life. I then plugged my phone to the laptop and it said 'Qusb_bulk' which means the phone went to edl mode.
I then downloaded qualcom driver and tried to flash the phone using mi flash to recover it but nothing seems to work. I even tried qfil but there is always some kind of error which prevents the flash from completing. I tried the anti test rom and still an error happens at 10 seconds saying storsec.mbn error. Then I opened the back panel and disconnected the cables and put them back on again but still the same error happens during flashing. At this point I have no hope for my phone anymore? Do you guys think it's a hardware issue or something? With the corona **** going on I can't even go to repair store to get it checked out. Please help I was in love with this phone and it's hurting to see my phone in this condition.
Hi guys,
For a long time, my redmi 5 plus had the battery damaged. One day, he turned off without being able to turn it on again and I bought a new battery on aliexpress. So i recieved the battery today and I pluged it into the phone. The first time I turned it again on, the MI logo was stuck and after, there was glitches then black screen. after, only MI logo stuck for hours, then now, I can't turn it on, and when I charge it, the LED is blinking fast (≃1/2 second beetween every blinking), like when the phone seemed dead when the battery died the first time.
So, What can I do for this phone ?
