Xiaomi Redmi note 11 4g custom ROM?? - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I have got this china version Redmi note 11 4g phone, which I didn't check before that it doesn't have the official global ROM available yet. I have looked in google to find a suitable custom ROM for this model but I can't seem to find any. The 11 4g looks like very similar note 11
selenes series.
If you can point something that would be great. Or at least to install google services. I tried a couple of it keeps crashing.
Thanks,
Sazzad

I've tried to flash my note 11 4g with indian global rom from redmi 10. I've bricked my phone. After those dirty manupulations I've lost nvram and all security settings(protect1, protect2 etc.).
Moreover, after installing redmi note 11 4g firmware, there is a NV(some chinese words) title at the bottom of Redmi logo page.
There are no any twrp recovery for this phone. Thus, you can't to install any custom roms.
I've brought my phone back to life by changing boot.img from firmware to boot.img from indian global rom, but camera, imeis, barcode and macs now are empty.
Now I'm using samsung and redmi note 11 4g phone is bricked(not actually work correct).

I am sorry for u dude, actually I was gonna try flashing my RN11 4g china with the global ROM of Redmi 10, I guess I wont now,
What do I suggest? Waiting for xiaomi.eu or lineage Os ? or trying Redmi 10 global rol

Thanks for ur feedback, i use gspace for apps who demandes google services on the china rom, i'll wait till xiaomi.eu or lineage release a stable custom rom.

Another bad news from xiaomi.eu
The only devices in the Redmi Note 11 series that will be supported are Redmi Note 11 (spes/spesn) and Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G (veux).
Redmi Note 11 5G (evergo), Redmi Note 11S (fleur/miel) and Redmi Note 11 Pro/Pro+ (pissarro/pissarropro) are all Mediatek-based devices, and are not going to be supported.

Thanks for your reply!

Mokee marshmallow and CyanogenMod 13 are stable, I like slim rom. I have come full circle back to global dev mm.
Fortunately we got a separate thread between Redmi Note 3 Snapdragon version and the other Redmi Note 3 Mediatek version in XDA, so there will be easier for you to choose what ROM u wanna install on ur device and just make sure that u are in right thread.
We got a plenty custom ROM based on MM as well as Nougat and we all know that Nougat is still in alpha or beta stage so you may come across with particular bugs that came from the device cos we got some different versions like fingerprint sensor, camera, led etc, but in MM we have almost rock stable build, choose wisely.
And another thing that u wanna note that actually we have two version ot Redmi Note 3 Snapdragon, they are Kenzo (which ppl mainly use this device) and another one with codename Kate (special edition). What we look here, that Kenzo has many dev support whereas Kate doesn't and you may end up with bootloop if u flash Kenzo's ROM over Kate, but sometimes it will work sometimes ot doesn't. Also if we compare side by side between Kate and Kenzo, we look that Kate is bit taller than Kenzo, thanks to additional 4G bands.
That's all I think and I hope you are satisfied with ur decision like I did.
Last but not least, WELCOME. THANKS.

Backup your data by system backup, then used mi flash tool to flash a global rom. I personally prefer global dev rom. There's a instruction for flashing miui official rom in the download section. If you prefer customer recovery, used flasher toolkit V1.05: http://en.miui.com/thread-296053-1-1.html, after you have twrp installed, you can easily changed to zcx twrp for flashing miui official rom and can do a nandroid backup. There are many version of twrp for redmi note 3 pro: read the newbies guide on twrp, please read and really understand those topics then started to flash whatever your preference. Twrp guide here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/redmi-note-3/how-to/guide-redmi-note-3-available-twrps-t3406708, wishes you enjoying the redmi note 3 pro . Cheers!

What is indian version?.........

Hey, I have a xiaomi redmi note 9 pro which I bought recently, and I just unlocked the bootloader and want to install a clean android custom rom, but I see 2 different sections for international and indian, with the indian version being much more active. Why is that? What is that? Why would most people have the indian version? And how to check which version do I have? Can I install an indian version on international version?
Thanks.
An Android app like DevCheck will tell you the codename of your phone, that is what you want.
The first page of most custom Roms will specify that codename.
Curtana global version model is redmi note 9s , in India same phone is called 9 Pro

*Your Device Code-Name is " joyeuse "
**In order to flash Custom Rom on your device you should use recovery made for joyeuse
and flash the rom made for joyeuse or a GSI or a Unified Rom (Curtana/Gram/Joyeuse/Excalibur) for your device
***Indian version is more active because it has more sales than rest of market , and people are intrested in flashing their phones,
and Indian Version(Curtana) is cheaper than Global one
So more development for Indian version
****Yes you can install custom rom made for Indian version on international version if it mentions " Unified Rom " or GSI
and if you DO NOT understand the word " Bricked phone " correctly then please READ This before Flashing

Great answer, thank you!
What does GSI means? Unified just means that it supports all the different variations I guess?
For example, looks like this rom would work just fine as it states 'Joyeuse' right?

So................That's super weird. As you can see in the above picture, I seems to have the joyeuse version, but when I tried to just flash a joyeuse ROM(aka - https://forum.xda-developers.com/re...ment/rom-resurrection-remix-q-v8-5-7-t4147181)
I received the following message: This package is for device: joyeuse; this device is curtana.
I'm super confused now.... :\

does your phone has NFC , 64MP camera ?
The forum names are a bit confusing, it's actually supposed to be
1) curtana, the phone sold internationally under the name Note 9S and in India as the Note 9 Pro
2) joyeuse, the phone sold internationally under the name Note 9 Pro
3) excalibur, the phone sold only in India as the Note 9 Pro Max (identical to joyeuse for the most part)
4) gram, the phone sold under the Poco brand as the Poco M2 Pro
All four of these phones have the same chipset (720G) and are made by Xiaomi, so they share huge portions of source code as a result and ROMs made for one of the four can be ported to the other three with little to no effort (in theory). That said, flashing a curtana ROM on a joyeuse has been reported to brick the phone in a few cases, so make sure whatever you're flashing is explicitly tagged as joyeuse, the international, non-Indian Note 9 Pro.
"GSI" is a Generic System Image, which is basically just AOSP, or "stock Android". The one listed on the forums with the "unified" tag should in theory work fine on all four of the phones listed above, including yours.
There's also "miatoll", which I think is the name the kernel sources for the four phones were released under, "Atoll" being a Qualcomm codename for the SM7125 chipset (the 720G), and "Mi" being, well Mi. Aaaand there's "SM6250", which I think is yet another Qualcomm part number or an obsolete codename for the same chip, but I can't find anything on it.
As for why the Note 9S (aka Indian Note 9 Pro) forums are more popular, it's probably just because it's the cheaper phone. ROMs made for either should eventually get ported to the other one, especially if it's something high profile like an official LineageOS ROM.

It is incorrect to call it "the Indian version" , there is no such thing.
There is a phone with codename curtana, that phone is the Redmi note 9s , however the same phone in India is called the redmi note 9 pro.

That's just semantics. You could say that Xiaomi has two versions of "the phone branded as the Note 9 Pro", one of them has a curtana platform inside and is sold at a cheaper price only in Indian markets, the other one contains joyeuse and is sold worldwide at a higher pricepoint. Basically, there are two phones sharing the same trademark/brand name/box art, so that NAME itself has two "versions".
When you say that you "own a Note 9 Pro", you would have to clarify WHICH Note 9 Pro you own - the one with curtana internals ("the Indian version") or the one with joyeuse internals ("the global version") - because otherwise your statement is unclear. It would be like saying "the latest Redmi Note phone", that alone isn't enough information to determine which one you're talking about.
This isn't a reply, it just a random fact:
Xiaomi global announcement of Redmi note 9s(global aka eu, America, asia , etc) march 23 2020, source gsmarena.
Xiaomi announcement of redmi note 9s in India : July 26, with the name redmi note Pro, source gadget news.
So that is the curtana.
Redmi global announcement of Redmi note 9 Pro : April 30, source gsmarena. That is joyeuse.

Question Firmware for Redmi Note 10 (Sunny)

Hi,
Which firmware should I download and install for my Redmi Note 10 (Sunny) not Mojito? I know that Sunny is a global version and Mojito the Chinese version. But on the xiaomi download firmware site there is only Mojito mentioned https://xiaomifirmwareupdater.com/firmware/mojito/. I would not like to commit mistake choosing the wrong firmware. Do you have any experience at that point?
At all: should I do this if I have already installed the latest Havoc 4.9?
Sunny/Mojito is the same thing , Redmi Note 10 doesn't have a Chinese Version.
You should pick always the latest firmware but only if the developer/builder specifies it
Thanks!
