Thx boss !!!!!
This is one of the ROMs that I've been anticipating to have an A12 update. Thank you for keeping lmi alive!
Does VOLTE work here?
Can someone please confirm if the low microphone volume recording bug for WhatsApp voice notes etc is present on this rom, like it is for the A11 crdroid?
Hi to all of you!
Great ROM with all the great looks and feel but as in 7.13 version I am not able to get the mobile data to work...
Anyway, big thanks to the developers for all the effort!

Have you tried manually setting up the APN in Settings?
I was looking forward to this update, Thanks for your hard work!
I'm facing a bootloop problem for some reasons...
I once successfully installed it, but realized NikkGapp didn't use my config, so I went back into TWRP to run it again and use my config.
I didn't realized it at this time (now I know), but TWRP didn't ask for any pattern unlock. The sd-card wasn't detected, so I tried a couple of things to solve it, and this is where it starts to get problematic. I did the sd-card switch from ext2 to ext4.
From that point, I got into a boot loop. I tried to flash the CrDroid rom again, but it won't work.
I then flashed the global original image to start fresh, but TWRP still won't ask for pattern to unlock, thus doing the flashing again didn't work...
Do you have any idea how I can fix it? I'm back on MIUI and I already miss CrDroid

After getting bootloops from installing different roms I learned this: disable the screen lock (Settings->Security->Screen lock->None) before flashing anything. This way TWRP should be able to mount the partitions

Thanks for your help.
I disabled the screen lock, but sadly it didn't work.
I get errors messages such as:
I:File Based Encryption is present
fscrypt_init_user0 returned fail
fscrypt_init_user0 returned fail
fscrypt_init_user0 returned fail
Unable to decrypt FBE device.
If your device is not encrypted, decrypting the FEB device will fail.
E:fde::get_crypt_ftr_and_key::Unexpected value for crypto key location:
E:Error getting crypt footer and keyE:Could not get footerDecrypt process ended with signal: 11
Failed to decrypt data.
Unable to decrypt with default password. You may need to perform a Format Data.
and
Android Rescue Party trigger! Possible solutions? Either:
1. Wipe caches, and/or
2. Format data, and/or
3. Clean-flash your ROM.
The reported problem is:
'set_policy_failed:/data/system'
Not sure what to do...
I tried changing the data format to ext4, then format it through ADB, didn't work.
My current error message is "init_user0_failed". I also still have the "Rescue Party trigger!" message.
EDIT:
I managed to boot by formatting DATA after flashing, but the OS seems to be missing a lot of stuff.
EDIT 2:
Ok, started the clean flashing process again, still got in bootloop. Tried formatting data again, and it worked!

Thank you for your reply. I did not try changing the APN settings but tried MIUI stable 12.2.6.0 needed for flashing the 7.13 crDroid and it works there out of the box. Maybe changing the APN would work but I gave up and get back to EU version instead, which is ok for me except for custom launcher like Nova since I cannot get around the home buttons appearing/dissapearing when I use gestures with Nova launcher... That was the first thing that led me to trying crDroid

I have the same problem with our COVID app, I simply flashed Magisk, then once I'm in the OS, you can install MagiskHide, it also works for Google Pay on rooted phones. Make sure to clear the app cache when activating MagiskHide, otherwise the message about the rooting will stay.

This was without root. Google Pay and other banking apps and such worked. But a few had some extra checks apart from SafetyNet and such.
I would rather not root and mess with magisk if it could be avoided.
I don't have any need for root and would rather not install too much third party stuff with potential security risks.
Did Google Pay not work for you without root and magisk hide either?
I'm currently using "NikGapps-full-arm64-12-20211227-signed" as GAPP, but sadly, chrome keeps freezing. I'm currently using a different browser. Has anyone a fix for this?

My device is rooted since day one. I don't know how to flash a custom ROM without first rooting.
But yes, without MagiskHide, I couldn't use Google Pay. Haven't found another way to make it work.

This ROM doesn't have any root options but certain applications like Google Tez, UPI apps, Banking apps are not working as it recognize the device as a rooted device. There is no SuperSU or Magisk installed by default neither I installed them (so unable to unroot by uninstalling these ).
I don't know how but my Snapchat works (it is not supposed to work on rooted devices).
I have undergone various methods to check the ROM's root capabilities like,
I checked the Terminal by typing
Code:
su
command, but it doesn't recognize it, hence no root.
Also there is a
Code:
$
in terminal at starting instead of
Code:
#
which depicts the root access, so no root here also.
I don't know how the ROM is rooted but it will be cool if you supply it with enabling and disabling root access feature like LineageOS do or just supply the unrooted ROM like AOSPExtended.
Does anyone have any method to unroot the device.
Really want to use this ROM because other ROMs are not yet stable like this.
Infinite loop(rebooting after booting into system for few seconds)
It was working well before I touched the pixel search bar. Now its booting into system even after flashing factory fastboot files still it is staying in the system for few seconds then rebooting @shekhawat2

LineageOS is a free and open-source operating system for smartphones and tablet computers, based on the Android mobile platform.
This is an unofficial build of LineageOS for the Pixel 3 (blueline). I always liked Lineage (and its predecessor CyanogenMOD) as well as the Google line of phones. Unfortunately having a Google Pixel phone isn't certainty for a lot of custom ROMS anymore, so that's why I decided to compile my own version. It's been quite challeging, but I think I finally have a build that is good enough to share.
About
This ROM is built straight from the LineageOS sources found on https://github.com/lineageos. There are only 3 changes in order to get this build:
The device tree is just a single folder with references to the crosshatch (Pixel 3XL) tree that is already there in the sources
The binaries for this ROM come from The Muppets
The ROM is compiled with the nano version from Open Gapps, including the Pixel specific bits for unlimited photo upload for instance
I am not a developer, I only build this ROM and it reflects the the current status. If there are any things missing or not working I suggest to contact the LineageOS team, they are the real geniuses here and deserve all the credits. I will try to keep this ROM updated on a regular basis.
First Installation
Installing the ROM can be a little hard, especially the first install. Upgrades will be relatively easy though. This first setup is only needed when coming from a different ROM then this. I can't support you if you did't follow this first installation. Be warned it will wipe your user data in the process, so make sure you make a backup if needed.
Place the ROM and optionally the TWRP zip, a kernel and root on the phone and reboot to recovery by using the command line (fastboot boot twrp.img) or hold the VOL DOWN key while rebooting the phone.
In order to make the right startbase for the ROM you have to install the latest stock Pixel 3 image from Google found here to BOTH slots. You can use the script in the download folder. Instructions how to use it can be found in the script itself.
Wipe 'data' and 'Dalvik / Art Cache' from TWRP - Wipe - Advanced Wipe or use the slider in TWRP for a factory reset. Optionally you should also delete the Android folder on your internal storage through the TWRP File Manager
Flash the ROM and optionally the TWRP zip, kernel and root and reboot the phone
Upgrades to new version
After the hard initial work to get the ROM installed it's going to be easy for upgrades to new versions.
Download the new ROM on the phone and reboot or fastboot flash to the TWRP recovery
Flash the new ROM and optionally TWRP. If you want to flash another kernel or a root solution you will have to reboot you phone, so it switches slots and let it boot normally. Then go back to recovery and flash in this order: TWRP - kernel - Magisk and reboot
After a monthly update from Google and only when LineageOS also adapted to the latest monthly sources (I will tell you this) you will have to do an extra step:
Download the latest Lineage OS ROM and place it on the internal storage
Download the latest image from the Google Factory Images site, extract the bootloader, radio and vendor images and flash them in the bootloader to BOTH slots. Alternatively (and actually my prefered method) you can use the script provided in the download folder. Instructions are inside the script
From here go to TWRP recovery and flash the previously downloaded new ROM, optionally followed by TWRP.
Optionally, after a reboot you can flash Magisk and/or another kernel.
Not working
Active Edge
Now playing (on the lockscreen, it works while the screen is on, just no history))
Call recording (not enabled in sources for our device)
Accent colours Default, Forest and Cocoa display a blue colour icon theme instead of its own
Call Screen (couldn't test it myself)
The "markup" tool to edit screenshots doesn't work
Downloads
Now finally for the good part, the downloads. In this folder you will always find the latest ROM:
https://drive.google.com/open?id=1lx8dlS4ZRVVQYeQS0I7Y_6yJ5SFMg7uR
Happy flashing

@jorgen2009 I used to use your Pixel 2 LineageOS unofficial builds. Really excited to see that you are going to be making Pixel 3 builds now! Looking forward to trying it out tonight. Thanks!
@jorgen2009 I flashed the rom and it's working great for the most part. The only problem I've noticed is that there is no audio in phone calls. I cannot hear the other person and they cannot hear me either. This is happening regardless of whether VoLTE is enabled. Any ideas? Thanks again for your work on this.
That was happening with other February custom roms. just flashing Google's radio image in fastboot from the February Google's factory image should do the trick.
@beanaman Thanks, this fixed it for me! Flashing just the radio image wasn't enough, though. I also had to flash the vendor image.
Awesome

Google pay works fine (I have magisk installed), active edge is proprietary code and won't be implemented unless someone gets lucky or Google releases the source.

Did you just enabled hidesu for Google pay or any special steps you performed ?
Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
Just posted an update of the ROM, built from today's sources. Together with this release I made a Lineage OS ROM for the Pixel 3XL as well. As I don't have this phone myself I'm not sure if it's working. If anyone can confirm this I will make in announcement in the Pixel 3XL forum as well, hopefully stimulating development for our devices.

Only enable magisk hide for them, nothing else
I'm seeing that in the OP, the instructions don't involve wiping System after making sure you start from Google's factory image as a base. Any reason I shouldn't wipe System? I did, and everything seems to be working okay. Do I lose any features or anything?

System will be completely overwritten by the ROM, so no need to wipe it first. Whether you wipe it or not has no effect on the features whatsoever
Hi,

Any chance thay you may add proper support so custom kernels can be used together with LineageOS?
Using a kernel like Proton together with LOS is making the phone just randomly freeze once it have fully booted non stop.

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of android, which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock android for your device.
All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. If you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit our Wiki for more details.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
1. If you use twrp it will ask if you want to install the twrp app. Make sure you tap "DO NOT INSTALL".
2. If you care about your stuff, make a backup in TWRP first, just in case. Transfer it to a pc, along with all your stuff in internal storage.
3. The newest vendor, radio, & bootloader img's are included in the rom zip, so no need to worry about flashing those manually.
4. Lineage comes with adb root that you can enable in developer options, but if you want root for apps, flash magisk in recovery (after renaming magisk.apk to magisk.zip). Just don't flash it during initial lineage install, as it's known to cause bootloop if you do.

I had that but it was because I also wiped system and cache. I reflashed stock and only wiped data and now Google apps work except for Gmail
Just reporting, I am not passing safety net

An easy fix, for anyone with the gmail issue, you just have to go to settings->apps->gmail->permissions, and allow permissions to contacts and calendar.
EDIT: I'll try to figure out the issue of why gmail is not being granting permissions automatically, like it should.
But in the meantime, i'll just include gmail in my builds. That way it has that right permissions and just works like it should. If you don't want the app, you can just go to settings and disable it.
EDIT#2: New builds are available in first post. One notable feature that was added is, network traffic monitor in statusbar. :good:
Note: I don't have a sailfish so that build is untested, but it should work fine. Please someone give it a try and let us know if it's ok. Confirmed, it's working good on sailfish too.

ikr, it was read only on the stock rom, immediately went back to Los16 lol
so, it seems as if there are no real game-breaking issues out of the gate?? I'm looking forward to trying this later but was holding off for some more feedback, so far it seems to be pretty positive... one (stupid) question... After flashing this can you easily just flash back to a PIE rom if need be, or once you go Android 10 you can't go back?
yes you can

yep, i did it the other day. went from lineage 17 to 16, with just a data wipe. no issues.
So device personalization services app kept crashing so I uninstalled it
also trying to enable black theme in settings makes settings app crash
Also had the Gmail permission bug thanks for posting the fix ?
Also why was twrp overwritten by stock Google recovery ?
I didn't see a warning about that anywhere in op
Note I did a clean install wiped all partitions but internal storage in twrp 3.3.0.0 before flashing rom and then magisk zip

Niceeeeee!!! I have been waiting too long for this <3
Awesome! Thanks alot for this! Couple of questions before flashing. Does it include stock google camera? Does it retain unlimited photos storage and also is it possible to flash over stock without losing all data? I know the last isn't recommended, but would be nice.

1. The camera included is one provided by cstark. It is a modded version of Google Camera which includes features from later Pixels, but should still hold the original features.
2. Yes, you can still upload unlimited photos in original quality.
3. Unfortunately, it is not possible to directly flash PixelExperience over stock. In fact, 11 requires a full device repartition. It's easy as flashing a .zip file before the ROM to do so.
If you have any more queries, make sure to let me know!

Hey dude! (or dudette), would you please walk me throught the installation process? I'm a noob on flashing custom roms, and i'm facing some difficulties flashing this rom. I downloaded the repartition zip form the link, and I'm flashing it throught twrp recovery and then the rom zip file but it gets stuck on a bootloop. What am I missing? (Please forgive any misspellings, I'm also a noob at english)
Flashing both the regular and plus versions doesn't seem to work for me. They both get to 35%, then I get:
28 (ErrorCode::kDownloadOperationExecutionError)
Error in /sideload/package.zip (status 1)
Great great work! Will surely be trying this at the first available free time!

Hi. Are you able to download Google Camera from playstore and does it work fine?
Is selinux enforced? Tks
Going through Pixelexperience site, came across two versions for Pixel XL- Stable android 11 and Stable Android 11 (plus edition).
What's the difference between the two? Apologies if this is common knowledge, but this is the first time for me using Pixelexperience.

I have solved the issue, this is what i have done:
- Boot into twrp from fastboot, using the latest twrp 3.5.0
- Advanced Wipe (system, dalvik, data), change active slot and then repeat (just to be sure)
- adb sideload the repartitioning zip
- Format data (where you type 'yes') then reboot into twrp
- (From Kartik Billimoria on Telegram)Push rom zip file to /sdcard via adb push command then flashed the rom
- Change to inactive slot (the slot you flashed the rom), reboot to fastboot to make sure the active slot has changed (for me it has not), if not change it by 'fastboot set_active a' (or b). Reboot.

It will not work via TWRP recovery.
1. Kindly go on the downloads page and install the PE recovery.
Code:
fastboot flash boot recovery.img
(It may bootloop once or twice, but then it will show up in PE recovery)
2. Go into Apply update via ADB.
Code:
adb sideload repartition-ogpixel-**gb.zip
3. Factory Reset/Wipe Data.
4. Apply update via ADB and sideload the ROM.
Code:
adb sideload PixelExperience-**.zip
5. Reboot and wait patiently.
Hope this helps.

PixelExperience Plus Edition provides extra tweaks that you can apply.
One that comes to mind is further customization to the notifcation bar to include network stats.
If you're up for extra customization from ROMs like LineageOS, consider flashing Plus instead.

By default, the ROM includes Google Camera PX by cstark27, which is more up to date than the stock (marlin/sailfish) Google Camera app. It includes newer features such as Portrait mode and Timelapse.
However, from the Google Play Store, you are still free to install the stock one.
As for SELinux, yes. It is enforced.
For stable releases from PixelExperience, it is required that builds are on Enforcing.

No need for this last part. If on TWRP, after flashing the ROM, you just need to reboot back to recovery and it will automatically set to the inactive slot.

LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. You will need to provide your own Google Applications package (gapps). LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
Base source code is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to the project, please visit our Gerrit Code Review.

ROM OS Version: Android 12
ROM Kernel: Linux 5.4
Based On: AOSP
Official TWRP thread:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/recovery-11-official-teamwin-recovery-project.4374117
TWRP Notes:
Currently the official TWRP has issues installing on custom ROMs. It can be permanently installed on with MIUI but any AOSP based ROM causes it to hang. Until this gets fixed the only way into TWRP is to use the fastboot boot method. Also the official TWRP currently has some bugs (sideload not working, boot slot selection not working, vibration not working) which I have fixed. I've submitted these fixes to the official channels so the next official build should have these problems fixed. My unofficial TWRP build is available here:
https://sourceforge.net/projects/xiaomi-odin/files/twrp-3.6.1-odin.img/download
Extra Installation Notes:
TWRP cannot currently decrypt A12 partitions meaning you can't access your files in recovery mode. This is a TWRP problem, not a ROM bug. If you need to install something, either sideload it or use USB OTG.
Lineage 19 requires MIUI 13/Android 12 firmware. You can get that here: https://xiaomifirmwareupdater.com/firmware/odin/stable/V13.0.4.0.SKMCNXM/
Lineage 18 requires MIUI 12/Android 11 firmware, available here: https://xiaomifirmwareupdater.com/firmware/odin/stable/V12.5.12.0.RKMCNXM/

@Inkypen I have managed to install this with OpenGapps pico and everything seems to look good - except for SIM cards None of the SIM slots are recognized... so uninstalling it now, since I need my phone BUT other than that I am super pumped - finally something other than MIUI and my beloved Lineage! Flash it again. I've discovered that if you flash to slot A you won't have SIM cards or sensors working but everything works properly when flashed to slot B. I have a feeling it's related to TWRP, for example it's currently a bit broken and can't be permanently installed on AOSP based ROMs.
@Inkypen just tried both B and A (in that order) and still no SIM detected. I am using your TWRP from that thread :/
Also, how to change SELinux status? Lineage Trust app complains about it.
Great work. Thank you.
Cts profile failed, selinux off. And safety tests not passing.
Any idea how fix it?

Not sure what is wrong here, or if it's even the same issue I have when flashing to slot A. I'll need logs to investigate. Also you can turn off the SELinux warning in Trust settings.

CTS profile and Safetynet failures are both related to SELinux. There is a hack to hide SELinux status from Google services but I forgot to add it in (although I did add in the hack for the unlocked bootloader check). It's possible to add the SELinux hack onto a running phone but it's complicated. Good news is I'm wokring on SE policy in order to get it fully enforcing.
Don't try to force enable SELinux to enforcing, your phone will quite likely stop working properly until you set it back to permissive.

No need to restart Recovery. But I suggest you to Install the Los/Gapps first, and than format data, otherwise the Rom won't boot. Also, make sure u flash the Rom on Slot B, although I had problem with flashing it on MiUi Beta. You can try it, anyway. Cheers.
New build succesfully installed .
Thanks for the update and especially gapps build this time.
