Question Bluetooth randomly turns off? - Google Pixel 6

Anyone has similar problem? Noticed few times after not receiving notification on my smartwatch that Bluetooth was off.

Maybe power management... destroyer of worlds. Try a network reset otherwise.

GPS won't turn off!

Hi guys,
I have a problem with the GPS that I don't think is unique to the GS4 only ... it happened after I upgrade to 4.3, and the same on my wife's Note 2, seems to be 4.3 related.
Basically, I can turn on GPS no problem, but after turning it on, it will not turn off even though the GPS icon is turned off from the notification bar, and the GPS sign also disappears from the main bar. Checking on the battery stat shows GPS remains all along.
This can only be fixed by a reset, but the next time I turn GPS on, once again I need to reset the phone to turn it off.
Anyone knows how to fix this? I already have location services turned off. This doesn't seem to be located to google services at all.
This only seems to happen after upgrade to 4.3 as well.

Bluetooth stay alive?

I am using the SWApp App and it seems to not vibrate or get notification until I press the power button. How can I get notifications in real time and not by pressing power button? Is the Bluetooth going to sleep when put to sleep? Thanks
I Always get a notification... dont need to press anything, have you got a power saver app that is regulating the connections? Normally its wifi that gets killed when screen is off...
Same thing happens to me.
I get the notification at the exact same time the screen turns on.
I doubt this is a bluetooth problem because if I receive a sms and go to plane mode on the phone, the notification still appear when I turn the swatch screen on. (then, swapp link crashes)
If I do not turn the screen on, I still receive the notification, but several minutes later.
@MrTip Did you figure out how to fix the bluetooth sleep/delay issue? Thanks

Firmware issue. General rule is stock for standalone and BT ROM (assuming your TS is even compatible) for companion.
Thanks @Lokifish Marz
Same issue with BT Rom . It only gets notification when power is pressed or notification is delayed. It does get notification when it's supposed to if the device is charging. Swapp/OSmart bluetooth notifications do not work on 20140120, 20140120 with EnSec, 20140527, or Dee Troy 1.1.1 BT Rom. Is this still a firmware issue or can it be hardware? Why is no one else having this issue or is it isolated like MrTip and me? Thanks again!
btw I can bluetooth internet tether with BT Rom now....

In my (successful) attempt to get a working recovery I started with a blank slate and did not reinstalled swapp links yet.

How to keep my Sony Smartwatch 2 connected?

When I slide in/out my phone from the station, my Sony Smartwatch 2 gets disconnected. Anyone else using this particular combination of devices? Or perhaps an Android Wear watch? This is annoying because then I stop getting notifications to my wrist and have to remember to turn the bluetooth of the watch off/on (and that only works 30% of the time).
For future reference, this is no longer an issue after various updates from ASUS (and a few from Sony), not sure which fixed it, I'm just happy it works now. Plug in, plug out, no problem.
Notifications are still an issue as some apps don't reacquire accessibility permissions (or something) when they're killed as part of the switch. So far I've had success with setting Tasker on the no-kill list and using that to handle notifications (using the tasker notification plugin for Sony Smartwatch2).

Reconnecting to phone problem after longer disconnecting period

I just discovered that my watch has problem reconnecting to the phone if they lost connection for longer periods of time. If it's just for couple minutes they will reconnect fine.
I usually have to toggle BT on/Off on the phone to reconnect.
Anyone else has this problem?

This is not a problem, it´s a feature that preserves battery life avoiding continuous connections. It came with the newest AndroidWear.apk. If you turn on developer mode on the phone, you´ll see the reconnecting attempt dialog on the notification bar. If the disconecction was very short, it´ll reconnect quickly. Restarting the bluetooth, you are forcing the pairing reseting the reconnection-time-counter.
Thanks for the confirmation that this is not just my problem.
Well, this is pretty annoying, there should be way to reconnect immediately from the watch. I did not figure out how to do that.

Maybe with tasker by detecting the disconnection, and triggering an on-off bluetooth action until it´s reconnected succesfully...
You can try it.
Thanks, will have to look in to it.

Bluetooth auto shutoff

Has anyone experienced the bluetooth shutting off after a period of time of non use? I would assume that this is a battery saver feature, but I can't figure out how to turn it off. Any help would be appreciated.
