Hey. I just got back my Redmi 6A, from my experimenting old brother, and I found out he managed to wipe both system and recovery, with LOCKED bootloader. I would probably just unlock the bootloader and re-flash it, but I have no idea what Mi account I'm using on it.
I've also tried re-flashing it through Mi flash tool, but it doesn't seem to work, or at least for me. Can I reflash stock rom using Fastboot, even though bootloader is locked? And if I can't, is there any other solution? I'd really appreciate your help, thank you.
brom mode with sp flash tool is worth a try. but handling the tool is not easy

i've never experienced the bootlop after flashing the MIUI ROM, but suddenly today, it happens....i don't know why. I use the MI Flash Tool. I've reflash it few times but the result is still the same. is anyone here can help? :crying:
Check to see if your bootloader has been relocked. If it has, unlock it.

I recently bought the Redmi Note 3 Special Edition (Kate) and would like to unlock it and flash roms etc.

After lots of attempts I figured how to unlock bootloader on KATE Of course It was stupid error from my side Now I gonna install TWRP and root and I get phone of my dreams If someone else have problem with 50% verification I recommend to do this:

follow official unlock, or try unofficial replace appsboot.mbn by modified mbn in dev Rom, flash it via mi Flash,

done, flash twrp

i flashed my redmi note 4 using mi flash tool in EDL mode (because my bootloader is locked) and flash was successful but still note 4 is stuck at mi logo!
please help me i flashed it 3 times and still it's not coming out from mi logo!
and i tried QFIL it gives me some sort of firehose error.
i downloaded the correct MIUI ROM for it and still nothing is working

Get a custom recovery to wipe all partitions out. There might be an easy way out but you'd want to prefer a clean flash after this. And did you use EDL before unlocking?

hmm without unlocked bootloader I can't flash a custom recovery and there is no option to flash a custom recovery using another method(so I used EDL method),
and no I didn't use EDL before unlocking,
I used EDL because I there was no way to flash ROM on my phone!

That is quite a bad state that you have gotten yourself into. If you can reboot into bootloader, you can wipe every partition and flash a fastboot image of MIUI ROM to get it back to work. Remember to be specific about IMG files as they can make/break your system. You have a soft brick now but selecting a wrong IMG file can result a hard brick.

After unlock it show the mi logo half of the second then vanish. How to solve the problem. need it fast. If anybody can help me with this, it will be very helpful for me. Thanks in advanced.

Flash fastboot rom with clean+lock. Then boot your device and set up. Then unlock it
Are you suggesting him to flash a complete new rom which might cause loss of data

I wiped the phone via recovery, now it doesnt boot anymore. I get this device is locked. I dont know the cell phone #´s in there.
So where do i start please to unlock the device ? Do i have to put a SIM card in and follow the procedure mentioned here ?
Can i just flash a TWRP and install a stock rom somehow?

First try to use Mi Flash Tool to flash stock rom. If you fail, you probably have to go to fastboot mode and use Mi Unlock Tool to unlock bootloader. Then you can try to use Mi Flash again or install TWRP and flash stock recovery ROM or any other you wish
