Hi to all I have problem in my Mi 10 camera ultra wide camera hang then I need to close camera app main camera lens and micro working ok
Hi, do you still face that problem? I bought a used Mi 10 with broken screen a month ago to sell it with a better price. I launched a camera, tested main functions including all cameras and haven't experienced any problem. I guess it was one of the previous generations because after update they introduced me a new a'la iOS notification panel. I decided to update software - because why not - now it's MIUI 13, and didn't check remaining functions. After all I took the phone apart and replaced the screen. I tested everything and I got scared because of the ultrawide lens. Now I don't know if the reason was too big pressure put on the UW lens to glue the screen, I put extra soft layers on screen and a battery cover to properly distribute weight (I already repaired a few phones and none of them got damaged in any way) taking care about a cameras' island.
Also I bought another cameras' island and unfortunately there's no difference.
I'll try to downgrade the OS to the oldest version and let you know about the result.
Always you can successfully access the stock camera by 3D touch on main screen and select among a few modes: Pro, Photo and Video

I bought my M4 Aqua Dual last Tuesday. Everything is fine, except of the front camera...
The front camera is really darker than the main one. I know it's normal (different focal etc..) but it takes pictures too dark to be appreciate, and the video are even worst.
I will attach 3 pics. The first one from the main camera. The other 2 from the front one.
Tell me what you think about that. I purchased my phone from Amazon FR, so they can easily replace that (even though I hope it's a SW problem).
I think its just the camera sensor is bad, mine is dark too.

Mine is dark, too. Looks like a vignette effect applied to everything. I think we can't do anything with it.

Can you compare it with another phone?
because m4 main camera is always brighter than other phones, maybe that why you feel front camera darker
I compared to iPhone 6 (surely not a selfie phone). Sadly, iPhone front camera is MUCH lighter. So sad about that.... I mean, it's too much dark!!!
You can be glad that your camera works, i have bug that camera was not detected after 1 Month of use, i had to get it repaired trhu waranty...
Dark front cam

Same problem.. did u resolve da issue?
I have the same problem, solution?
Hi!
I recently got my lovely OnePlus X. Everything is where it needs to be, can't be more happy!
Except for the front facing camera, where the phone suffers from the wide-angle lens distortion syndrome which lots of new recent phones have.
The only way where I can fix this is by zooming a little bit so that the warp map for the camera no longer is "being used" even though it's already there?
The point is that I pretty much liked my front facing cam back when I had my Nexus 5.
Since I use Snapchat alot; when taking dank selfies, I just look like a fat fish in certain angles. If I use the default camera app however and zoom a little bit in, it's all fixed. How can do this for Snapchat, since it does not support front zooming for Android (yet?).
I have it rooted with Xposed installed and ready to go. Should I use some alternatives? Can I remove the warp map hardware wise? Can I change some "hardware-ish" setting so that it returns to normal mode? I just want it to be like my old lower fov Nexus 5.
Thanks!
I've got the Verizon VS987 model and for the last few weeks, I cannot get the main camera on the rear to focus properly. However the wide angle one works great!
I've tried replacing the main rear camera module itself with a brand new one from Amazon and confirmed it didn't help at all. Does the G5 use a laser focus for the main rear camera like other models do? It appears to be under the flash in the center. It looks like this is an all-in-one module with a laser and the flash. However I cannot find a replacement part for it anywhere - all the listings show say they're for the cable for it.
Any thoughts? Am I going in the wrong direction?
Hi friends,

hope it will be fixed by next version software
even turn off the front camera beautification mode, still it do some beautifying by itself.
I see apple trends going on. Price, beauty mode pre-installed,no screen protector nor free cover from the box. P30 Pro you won't even get usb-c to jack dongle.
I was suppose to pre-order this and was waiting for long time, but now bit in confusion by using for couple days ..,

Fellow members I was lucky enough to get the Honor 20 Lite early before launch and I have had a play around with it and can give you some feedback.
The handset will cost £249.99 in the UK and will go on sale on May 15th, 2 colours will be available, midnight Black and phantom blue. It does look really nice and what surprises me is the back is made of plastic not glass but I really couldn't tell. They achieved the look of glass by using 8 different layers.
The screen is 6.21in and has a 90% screen to body ratio and it is a LCD panel. There is a small tear drop notch which houses a 32mp camera. The rear of the phone houses 3 cameras, the main one is 24mp and there's also a wide angle lens and finally a 2mp lens to help with depth. The back also houses the fingerprint sensor which is fast as is the face unlock.
Negatives I would say are only a single speaker, micro USB port and no ip rating, also no support for 5G WiFi. However it is dual SIM and running on emui 9 and android 9. The Kirin 710 runs the device with 4gb of ram and 128gb of built-in storage which is expandable to 512GB. Any questions please ask I am happy to help and I will be attending the Honor 20 launch event also. I hope this helps anyone thinking about buying the Honor 20 Lite.
