Question No Volte & VOWIFI option ??? - OnePlus Nord 2 5G

Hello. On my oneplus nord 2 DN2103, software version DN2103_11_A.17 I don't have the Volte and VOWifi options. I receive 5G without any problem. When I put my SIM card in a oneplus 9 I have the Volte & VOWIFI options. What's the problem ? If I'm not mistaken, the Oneplus Nord 2 does have the Volte & VoWifi option, doesn't it? Any solution ? Thanks

No solution. I own the same phone and have the same issue here in the USA. After google searching, it seems to be a frequent topic of discussion on the OnePlus community forum. Looks like OnePlus has only opened up the feature to certain carriers. There's no way to activate it using dialer codes or anything else.

Strange , same version DN2103_11_A.17 , base band M_V3_P10.M_V3_P10 , DIGI Romania , Volte & VOWiFi are present .

In Poland on Play mobile present in sim card settings.

Depends on carrier yes, same issue here in France, with Free mobile.
I've asked carrier's tech support, no answer yet.

Open the Phone app, dial *#800# , and select EngineeringMode. Once you're inside OnePlusLogKit, scroll down a bit and check the “VoLTE switch” and “VoWifi switch” options. You may also need to check “VT switch” for some carriers.

You must not have a Nord 2 because this doesn't work. That just brings up a feedback menu that allows you to submit feedback to OnePlus. There's no Engineering mode, or OnePlusLogKit whatsoever.

Adb in recovery mode doesn't work since A14 or A15 update.

so whats the "solution"?? Im on A17 (DN2103)
how we can enable it? maybe via a custom rom?

I think you Can enable it with root as you don't need to adb in recovery mode and use in phone terminal, Idk for custom rom.

HI. I don't understand, I check SIM1 and VoLTE is enabled and wi-fi is on.
Is your problem with operator/SIM?

There is no option for volte and vowifi or 5G
In my OP3T with custom rom volte and vowifi options was available.
Sometimes when i make a call an HD logo (no volte) appears on call timer.

Yes it's a sim/carrier issue, I have same issue.

With a rooted phone and magisk:
1. install magisk hide props
2. Add the following custom entries:
persist.dbg.ims_volte_enable
persist.dbg.volte_avail_ovr
persist.dbg.vt_avail_ovr
persist.radio.VT_ENABLE
3. Reboot
I'm on 2103_11_A.02 with AT&T and it's working

Ok that helps.. but after reboot device no volte icon on statusbar either options on settings sim card about volte.
My carrier supports volte but not official for my Nord2.
Same sim on other "certified devices" appears volte+vowifi options.

Instructions entered with Termux under Root. Now I can configure Volte and Vowifi in the menu but the problem comes from my operator Free (French operator). I even notice that if the Volte option is validated when my friends call me, they notice that the line is busy. If I remove the Volte option everything becomes ok again. French operator "Free" says that the Volte option is supported for the Oneplus Nord but not for the Nord 2 for now.....

What do you mean you can configure the volte and vowifi in menu? How? Where?
Why i can't see that too?

After typing the instructions under Termux given by Big_lou the possibility of configuring Volte and Vowifi appears in the Sim card menu as you can see on this screenshot. But since my provider doesn't allow the Oneplus Nord 2 to use the Volte function, it doesn't work...

I can not make a build.prop modification.

(Sorry. I used Google Translator)

I believe thats because system partition is read only. There's a way to make it r/w, but im not sure if it works the same on this phone as the last time I did that was on lollipop.

Maybe try copying to PC and then edit. Then rename build.prop on the phone to build.prop.old and then copy the edited build.prop back to phone.

You can turn it on, but it won't work. The phone has to be supported by the wireless provider. Calls sound clear to me without volte, but that may depend on your location and provider.
It varies from region to region.

Back to development?
wonda sells SM-G9810 but they say bootloader is locked...
Thanks
My english is not good.
My phone is SM-G9810,i did all 4 steps, but when i entered the recovery mode after all steps,it was still samsung official recovery mode, not Lineage Recovery mode.
I am sure that bootloader is unlock and I also flashed the vbmeta_disabled.tar file(but i didn't know whether this step worked or not, when I finished flashing the tar file,my device rebooted into RECOVERY mode automatically but it didn't prompt "You have to reset your device to factory settings" this tip,i did reset to facotory settings manually)
please help me,thanks!
I also want to know how can I re-enable the Android Verified Boot again, thx!
Welcome back lord jesec.
Anyone tried GSI on s20?
I like it feature
Wish this worked on U1 models tho I heard they found a huge vulnerability in Galaxy's newer than 2014 hopefully someone will use that to let us unlock our bootloader
I read through forum but could not find answer can SM-G988n korea variant with snapdragon be rooted and used with sprint. I believe 5g will not work because it only supports 5g n78 and sprint uses n41. Please can someone tell me if 4g lte will work with sprint looks like a few supporting lte bands are diffrent does that matter will it work?

You can go into developer options and turn OFF "Automatic System Updates" but you MUST do this before it finds and announces the update, as once it has started the process, turning the switch will NOT stop it.
Also in the OP 9 section this is reported to work:

& Disabling system updates from DEV options is not stopping auto update at all.. I will try your idea while offline setup without SIM CARD as well
Edit: Tried suggested solution but it is not working at all to stop overnight updates.,
This only solution for now are as follows when you are going to sleep & these are interim solutions:
Turn on Power Saver
Turn off WIFI & data connection
Remove Google Play Services permission to access storage

That is because there are some OxygenOS apps that are carried over with an UPGRADE, but are not present in the actual ColorOS firmware in A12.
The first time you do a phone wipe, they are then gone.

AOD is not practical on N200 as the screen is not OLED and will drain the battery too quickly to use unless you are continuously charging.
The AOD app is installed in A12, yet is not visible. You can expose it with a shortcut maker.

Yes the SCG01 and the US Model (G981U1/G981U) have the same SoC #Snapdragon 865. But Odin refuses to Flash U/U1 Firmware for some reason.

I have a G986W version with UI 5.1. I would like to change to U1 version to get esim working. Is the process listed above the same to switch ROM's? If not, can someone please explain the steps need?
I have the latest version of odin but unsure what file from here I need.
Thanks
