Thank you for answer. :good:
I believe thats because system partition is read only. There's a way to make it r/w, but im not sure if it works the same on this phone as the last time I did that was on lollipop.

Maybe try copying to PC and then edit. Then rename build.prop on the phone to build.prop.old and then copy the edited build.prop back to phone.
Resolved!!
1. reboot twrp recovery
2. mount system
3. advenced - file manager
4. copy and paste
data - media - 0 - download (mod)
to
system - system (original)
5. chmod - 644
6. reboot system

You can turn it on, but it won't work. The phone has to be supported by the wireless provider. Calls sound clear to me without volte, but that may depend on your location and provider.
It varies from region to region.

Hey,
I experimented a bit and found 2 ways to reuse the Photochrome filter.

[ROOT]
1. Download the Magisk Module from the Attachment.
2. Install the Module using Magisk Manager.
3. Reboot.
4. Open Phone App and type *#808#
5. Go to the Camera tab and click to "fourth back camera preview".
6. Now you can screenshot objects.
Screens:
[NON-ROOT]
1. Download this Package: Download
2. Open the zip and install the "GoogleCamera.apk"
3. Copy the "GCam" folder on the internal memory.
4. Open GCam and Restore the "Urnyx 7.3 Hooolm v8 (OP8 Pro).xml" Profile.
5. Now you can click on the "C" logo and can use the Photochrome filter again.
Screen:
Does the non-root variant work without Magisk? Because you can't change the cameras if you don't use the Aux Magisk Module that patches SELinux.
Works without Module
The AUX module is only needed for some GCam features like slow motion etc.
But for the Photochrome filter the module is not needed.
Interesting. The other cams only work with the Aux module on the 7 series. Good to know
Np
Followed the steps for non-root. Anytime I try to use a camera other than the main it kills the app and I have to clear data and start over again to make it turn on.

It's about the filter there.
If you want to use everything else, you need the AUX module, but you need root.

I might be dumb, so please bear with me. I tried *#808# without the module and the same screen popped up. Is there something I'm missing that this module does that I don't see?

I meant I can already access it, sorry for the misunderstanding. I get the camera tab and can select the stuff an all, without installing the module, so wanted to know if I missed something. Sorry.
I guess I misunderstood.

Don't play with the fingerprint sensor tests or you will lose it. And without your own backup of the persist.img, there is nothing you can do to recover it. Fortunately I had my backup and I was able to recover the sensor. @jamal2367, can you take a look?

Hello, I'm going to receive my OnePlus 8 Pro this week (sadly, i've seen it's the in2020 version), if I flash OOS instead of HOS, is this guide needed or will it works natively on OOS ?
Does is work on OP8?
Ok, I stumbled upon this but here it is and I provide no warranty for any of this. You do this at your own risk!:
Requirement: Bootloader unlocked, Rooted, BACKED UP PERSIST.
Following this guide: https://www.xda-developers.com/enable-google-stadia-any-android-smartphone/
Open MagiskManager and look for the MagiskHide Props Config module.
Install and reboot
Get to ADB or term and type:
Code:
props
Type “4” to add/edit custom props.
Type “5” to add/edit custom props.
Type “n” to add a new custom prop.
Type “ro.product.model” to set this prop.
Type “in2025” to set it as the value for “ro.product.model“ (or your proper region)
Type “y” to accept the prop change.
Type “y” to accept the reboot.
You should now have photochrom!

Confirmed working on IN2020 on 10.5.10IN11AA
Confirmed too on my IN2020, this is great (Art)work, kevkid, thanks!
Just one small thing; I had to clear camera's cache and storage data to finally have photochrom option appear. Without this final step, it wouldn't. Seems obvious but maybe not for everyone, so you may want to add it as a final step in your instructions maybe.
Also had to use an adb terminal emulator Android app, and not computer's adb terminal, to have access to the props through that module and be able to edit them.
Wish there was such an easy way to get back to Widevine-L1 after bootloader's unlocked...
Works without any issue
I am on IN2021 model with Oxygen OS 10.5.10 IN11DA and its working.

Requirements:
- Root Access
- Android 10
- Stock Firmware and Kernel
- compilation required 17.0240.2007.27
- a file manager with root access (Root Explorer)

Installation process:
- You need to download this file and you need to unzip it
step 1
- you will see the following folders
- inside the folder 01 ViPER4Android System-app another folder comes that you must move to the path /system/app
- the folder must be given permission 0755 and the application permission 0644
step 2
warning: installing these settings permanently disable the DTS equalizer
- inside the folder 02 Mod Audio System Asus There are several files including a custom installer so you can do it quickly, these files should be
moved to the path /data/local/tmp
- now change the permissions of the installer_audio.sh file to 0755
- open your terminal and grant root permissions and type the following command

- After the restart open the application again and it is activated now, it only remains to install a module
step 3
- go to magisk manager in settings and select the modules option
- in the folder 03 Module magisk Audio library this is the module oh although they prefer it they can
download it from the repository
- they just need to flash it
- to finish they must give you restart and wait for your device to start
step 4
to enable the equalizer you must activate the master limit and with that it would be activated and enjoy your new audio
system that I made for you.
- in magisk modules it should look like this if you have any problem with the audio just delete the Audio Modification Library file
- and you just have to restart and go

there are a few dozen files that need to be backed up.
it would be easier for everyone if you made the backup option in the installer.
also, it doesn't install. says that files are not found.
this seems like a great mod but i would like to know if this will work on kirisakura kernel , i don't want to revert to stock kernel just to ejoy this mod while losing out better functionality of the kernel than stock.
applets not found and no such file or directory...
how fix it?
After installation, I get update notification in Magisk. Can I make update
To backup your EFS & NVRAM or to modify band settings, you need to enable Qualcomm's modem diag port. This usually requires root, but it seems that there's a built in system app that allows you to toggle this capability directly.
To enable diag, enter ##3424# in the dialer, and press the "Diag port' checkbox in the popup. Then, you would need to install Android HS-USB Diagnostics AF2E driver, which is also attached below.
The phone should now show up under QPST, and you can dig around policyman in EFS explorer & also create xQCN backups.
Have fun!

Thanks, I'm thinking to buy the variant Revvl 5G, as I see the step you uploaded you can make backup EFS and NVRAM and then you can also rewrite, which means you can unlock to use sim card from other country.
Surely the group of unlock box as Sigma Box and others, should be working on the way to make it unlock on the network

Can I switch carriers with the t mobile variant
Hello. On my oneplus nord 2 DN2103, software version DN2103_11_A.17 I don't have the Volte and VOWifi options. I receive 5G without any problem. When I put my SIM card in a oneplus 9 I have the Volte & VOWIFI options. What's the problem ? If I'm not mistaken, the Oneplus Nord 2 does have the Volte & VoWifi option, doesn't it? Any solution ? Thanks
No solution. I own the same phone and have the same issue here in the USA. After google searching, it seems to be a frequent topic of discussion on the OnePlus community forum. Looks like OnePlus has only opened up the feature to certain carriers. There's no way to activate it using dialer codes or anything else.
Strange , same version DN2103_11_A.17 , base band M_V3_P10.M_V3_P10 , DIGI Romania , Volte & VOWiFi are present .
In Poland on Play mobile present in sim card settings.
Depends on carrier yes, same issue here in France, with Free mobile.
I've asked carrier's tech support, no answer yet.

You must not have a Nord 2 because this doesn't work. That just brings up a feedback menu that allows you to submit feedback to OnePlus. There's no Engineering mode, or OnePlusLogKit whatsoever.

HI. I don't understand, I check SIM1 and VoLTE is enabled and wi-fi is on.
Is your problem with operator/SIM?
There is no option for volte and vowifi or 5G
In my OP3T with custom rom volte and vowifi options was available.
Sometimes when i make a call an HD logo (no volte) appears on call timer.
Yes it's a sim/carrier issue, I have same issue.
With a rooted phone and magisk:
1. install magisk hide props
2. Add the following custom entries:
persist.dbg.ims_volte_enable
persist.dbg.volte_avail_ovr
persist.dbg.vt_avail_ovr
persist.radio.VT_ENABLE
3. Reboot

Ok that helps.. but after reboot device no volte icon on statusbar either options on settings sim card about volte.
My carrier supports volte but not official for my Nord2.
Same sim on other "certified devices" appears volte+vowifi options.
Instructions entered with Termux under Root. Now I can configure Volte and Vowifi in the menu but the problem comes from my operator Free (French operator). I even notice that if the Volte option is validated when my friends call me, they notice that the line is busy. If I remove the Volte option everything becomes ok again. French operator "Free" says that the Volte option is supported for the Oneplus Nord but not for the Nord 2 for now.....
What do you mean you can configure the volte and vowifi in menu? How? Where?
Why i can't see that too?
After typing the instructions under Termux given by Big_lou the possibility of configuring Volte and Vowifi appears in the Sim card menu as you can see on this screenshot. But since my provider doesn't allow the Oneplus Nord 2 to use the Volte function, it doesn't work...
