Hello,
I got this phone from Amazon back in May. While I do like the phone it was a renewed phone so it was orignally a "metroPCS phone" however I have verizon and even though the phone did work on verizon with my sim card I wanted to try and get the verizon splash screen on boot. I flashed the verizon android 11 firmware from samfw.com. The phone came with stock Android 9 on MetroPCS firmware. However, now I do not have access to wifi-calling, or visual voicemail. My phone also does not tell me when I get a new voicemail which makes it difficult because my voicemail just fills up constantly and I never notice it.
Does anyone know how to restore wifi-calling and visual voicemail? If you guys could help me out with this that would be great!
Device Model: Samsung A10e
Firmware Version: A102USQSCCVA4
Android: 11
Carrier: Verizon

Hi well working in the US I brought my Samsung SII on pay as you go on AT&T as a present for my then GFriend life was good. But unfortunatly my contract wasnt extended so I went back to NZ. Minus work phone and Gfriend but with Samsung phone unused.
Not trying to do anything flash but I called AT&T to get unlock code initial call was unsuccesful. So I used Odin and rooted and unlocked my phone and could make calls but couldn't hear anything or be heard when answered.
So went back and called AT&T and after long chat got official unlock code relocked my phone then used the key to unlock it. Unfortunatly still no voice sounds on calls. TXT messaging works voice works outside of a call i.e can make a voice record and play back wifi etc rest of phone seems fine so dont think its a hardware issue.
However if I havent already made a school boy error, I then factory reset it. Without making any back ups.....
Is there any options or do I just have an expensive web brower
Model number SAMSUNG-SGH-I777 Android 2.3.4 baseband version I777UCKH7Kernal version 2.6.35.7 happy to donate to anyone who can help with simple instructions for a working solution other than the send it back type.
Managed to get a copy of AT&T firmware to turn it back and that fixed the problem So guess I am learning be it slowly.
No service / emergency calls only on AT&T.
Help please - on "new" unlocked GT-I9100, running SlimBean 4.2.2.build.7-OFFICIAL. This phone is for international use, but my sister-in-law is trying to use it in the states on AT&T prepaid. The phone gives all indication that it's unlocked successfully. Note that the same issue happened on 2.3.5 stock, so it's definitely not the ROM.
No signal or service on a new AT&T sim card (prepaid). Brought the card to the store, tried a different one, same issue.
Available networks: "AT&T" & "US". Clicking on either gives "Can't register on this network right now."
Tried a friend's T-Mobile SIM card, got weak service but was able to make a call successfully.
Running basebank I9100XXKI4. Had KI3 originally, same result.
ESN is clean and unmodified. Passed online ESN verification sites.
Any and all advice is appreciated!
What's the status on this??? I bought an s2 gt-i9100 of ebay. The phone works just fine with tmobile but stays on emergency mode with full bars on at&t. It's really weird since my tmobile sim is 7 years old and the at&t is only 2. Any help on this is appreciated.
I have a new galaxy s4 4g and after i got into a pissing match with Verizon i cancelled my service. i would like to take this phone over to a prepaid carrier. I know with Verizon they are strict about letting you use "their" phone anywhere else. Question is, ist there a way to completely wipe out Verizon's version of android and put a generic unlocked version so i can use the phone
I just picked up a brand new Verizon S9+ at Walmart and it's working fine on At&t Prepaid. Model # is SM-G965U and it's still running Android 8.0. Been hearing rumors that it may soon not work on At&t if VoltE isn't working. Do I have any easy options to get it working or do I need to flash new firmware???? Problem is I've never done anything like this before so I'm not very comfortable with it.

I've heard of this working with Sprint so I'll give it a shot on Monday. I've checked the menus pretty good and don't see any option to enable VoltE in the main setting menu or the calling app.
Interesting. Started updating my Verizon S9+ and left my At&t Prepaid sim in it. After a few updates I got a message that a new sim card was detected and it proceeded to change this phone from Verizon to At&t. All the Verizon apps/bloat were deleted and all the At&t apps/bloat were added. Even the startup splash screen updated to At&t on reboot. Just tried a call and it showed 4G which I believe shows that VoltE is now working!!! Still gotta make it from Android 8 to 10.

These phones are multi csc based on the sim. Att may still see it as a byop and all features may not work but I guess they claim volte on byop capable will work. A verizon samsung s series is not just a Verizon model. It's a us model and as long imagine its unlocked the sim tells the device who it is for and personalizes for the network automatically
I purchased this device in July of 2017. ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT.
Over the years it has had both T-Mobile and AT&T Sims and the only difference was that on T-Mobile, it could not be on a phone call and make/receive texts.
Feb 22, 2022, the day AT&A shutdown 3G in the USA, it stopped making phone calls. It still texts.
Got hold of Samsung Support and according to them, this device should still be making phone calls, BUT, they think it is someplace except the USA.
It will work as a Google Voice Phone (probably will do other VOIP things also but I have not tried) over WIFI.
Is this device actually effectively now simply a SIM card enabled Tablet that will text via a phone number?
a. Would it text it I simply buy a "Tablet Plan"?
Is there a way to get native phone to work again?
Thanks.
P.S. Thought occurred to me that those who might be able to help with this might be helped with some more specific information on the device,
