I m using s9plus snapdragon version, It should support Volte, but not working on Indian Jio network even they offer calls only on volte...
Telecom reprentatives just mention that only supported by Indian devices, with no additional details.. communication still in progress.
Were there any setting which I can open from dial pad using hidden code and tweak volte settings
I am not a developer, and questioning the network ability of my 2019 made phone. Its capabilities are 1xEVO, LTE, CDMA... but in secret menu, I can set it for 5G automatic. The carrier branded phone has removed any network selection options in the settings menu. I have no 5G service with my carrier as of yet. Has anyone noticed this with their Android 9.0 devices?

It being there doesnt mean your phone has 5g antenna or / and the required chipset to utilize 5g network.

So I'm going through my phone information to enable volte option, but I can't toggle volte(attached pic).
Does my phone doesn't support the carrier bandwidth or vise versa? Using https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Digi_Telecommunications
On gsm stated note9s supported lte,lte-a..
Is it possible to add or enable more network bands for Realme 7 Pro. The indian version offers very limited network bands.
I have a Xperia 1 IV (XQ-CT54) UK version which I'm using in India. Recently switched my carrier (Jio) from physical sim to e-sim.
I downloaded the e-sim profile via QR code scan. The service was inactive and usually gets activated within 2 hours. During this time when e-sim was inactive, I went into the settings to select network manually just to see the available calling networks. Phone started scanning all available networks (2G/3G/4G). To my surprise the network scanning also displayed 5G while the e-sim was still inactive. However, the carrier doesn't show 5G in physical sim network scanning.
But sadly when the e-sim got activated by service provider (JIO) its not showing 5G network in manual scanning anymore.
Does anyone know how to enable 5G for Jio carrier in e-sim mode. Some help will be highly appreciated.
