Honor 9N is a latest budget phone from Huawei Honor.
For Indian customers, it comes with network settings as 4 options ( LTE/WCDMA/GSM Auto), (WCDMA, GSM Auto), (WCDMA only) and (GSM only).
While the network signal is weak we don't get LTE band as it jumps down to the lower signal WCDMA or GSM.
Here I will explain how to enable LTE only option in settings.
Steps:
Download the app : Settings database editor
Scroll down and look for "hw_networkmode_preference" and change its value from "9,3,2,1" to "9,3,2,1,11". save it.
Then restart your device.
Now the LTE only option will be available in Settings > Mobile Network.
Remember one thing : You will no longer receive or make a call when you are in LTE only signal. It's because only Jio supports 4G calls (VoLTE).
If you are using any other Network Service like Vodafone In, Idea... Etc, use LTE only option only when it's needed and change into ( LTE/WCDMA/GSM Auto) later to receive calls.
Thanks.:victory:
Screen shot from my Honor 9N.

Changing LTE bands
I bought Honor 9N in India. To my disappointment, I cannot use it with T-Mobile in the U.S. Is there any way to change it? (Full confession: My knowledge of software/hardware is pretty poor)

I m using s9plus snapdragon version, It should support Volte, but not working on Indian Jio network even they offer calls only on volte...
Telecom reprentatives just mention that only supported by Indian devices, with no additional details.. communication still in progress.
Were there any setting which I can open from dial pad using hidden code and tweak volte settings
I am not a developer, and questioning the network ability of my 2019 made phone. Its capabilities are 1xEVO, LTE, CDMA... but in secret menu, I can set it for 5G automatic. The carrier branded phone has removed any network selection options in the settings menu. I have no 5G service with my carrier as of yet. Has anyone noticed this with their Android 9.0 devices?

This phone comes by default with other LTE bands but I need to know if using tools like Settings Database Editor I can activate B3 and B28 that are the ones used in my country.
