I have tried the NA version and is not allowing me to install, i have the NX679J 16G + 512G should i try the EU version?

If you're from EU, yea, it's recommended. If you're from NA, try to use this tutorial, they released it officially now:

Hi I asked the global support at redmagic.gg, they said that if I use Chinese Rom to flash to Global rom, it will get corrupted. Do you know if it's true?
Which is very strange because it says in the tutorial:
"Please back-up your data before attempting to manually install the global ROM, as the process will require a complete wipe of the device. This is because many of the apps built into the Chinese model will not be compatible with the global ROM."
Also if I'm from Australia should I try NA or EU?

Update: I tried both EU and NA they both don't work to update the china rom Says that it doesn't match

Are you all trying this with the 512gb model? I faintly remember something about this from the old 5G/5S model that the ROM refuses the flash because the NA and EU models didn't come with 512gb storage so the ROM can't recognize it.
The CN model phones physically don't have NFC antennas either, so tap to pay and stuff also doesn't work. That's why they're cheaper. They have a lot of internal hardware changes that makes them different.
The NA and EU models could use CN, but not the other way around without issues. It was eventually possible by using TWRP to flash whatever ROM you wanted and they all became interchangeable but with issues
CN with NA ROM = no signal, sometimes corrupted.
CN with EU ROM = weak or dropped signal
NA is a completely different board, different radio bands, and has NFC.
EU is the same board as CN but has NFC and uses different radio bands.
And CN is the same EU board, but with NFC physically removed to keep costs down, and very limited radio bands to only China.
CN and EU should be interchangeable by doing it from recovery or TWRP one someone ports it. But NA is a whole different animal.

Same problem bro, i have RM 7 Pro CN version, and already try use asia global version but no luck. I dunno why Red Magic do like this.
Before RM 5 series is fine to change CN rom to Global rom

Hello, I have the Chinese version of the phone. I tried this tutorial and I bricked my phone (bootloop). I was able to bring it back to life by flashing these files (it's the original CN Rom that I extracted with Payload dump). Just connect your phone in Fastboot Mode and click on the "flash.bat" file. You can find everything here
