Hello guys,
Really don't know where to start ..
As you can see in title, I have a problem with locked Mi account, I don't have a sim card associated with the account, dont' know the password and the bootloader is locked ... sounds like an impossible mission to fix this, I know.
I tried a lot of things (mi flash, mi unlock, xiaomi tool v2 by Francesco, MI Pc Suite etc) but nothing.
I'm desperate, I thought it wasn't that hard to bypass mi account activation, but I was absolutely wrong.
If anyone can help, I would be grateful ..
P.S --> English is not my native language, so sorry for any mistakes.

is ther any way to unlock the sn X10 phone?
You are a noob.
You posted in the wrong subforum.
There are many threads with the same question.
This thread contains no helpful or valuable info to post it in a DEVELOPEMENT section.
So why did you do so?
Because you can't even read some forum rules.
And why is that crying stuff used for this thread? Did you cry while you wrote this?
cool down mister tiger.seems that you had a bad day ther !
Questions are for questions, developement is for developement.
I just don't know why is it so hard for people to understand.
Dude there is not "free" way, I used this: Unlock_fusion for 4.50$ CAD fast delivery, phone unlocked. BTW I do not work for them.

Hi all,
I'm hoping one the XDA geniuses can help with a challenge I have!
I have a Viewsonic VSD243 I bought second hand to give to my kids but didn't realize it's a non-GMS device and therefore doesn't support playstore. Most of the apps the kids want need playstore so have been looking for a way to get playstore working without luck. Now I know why it was so cheap!
The bootloader is locked and I haven't been able to get to the bootloader to unlock as there are no physical volume buttons on the device and abd reboot bootloader just restarts the device...fastboot is not finding a device no matter what I try. I've been attempting various other workarounds for weeks with no luck (e.g. methods used for Huawei devices using apps like chat partner, ) but not had any luck
Please could someone recommend a method(s) to unlock the bootloader / root the device given the above (especially with the restriction of not having physical volume keys)? Ideally I'd like to create a dual boot on the device, one with existing ROM and one with custom (e.g. via Magisk) but can't get to root :-(
Your help would be really appreciated

I successfully unlocked and rooted a VSD231 with KingoRoot.apk just say no to all the junk it tries to put on it. I am going from memory a long time ago.
thank you for responding and good to know you managed with a viewsonic device. I'll give it a go as don't have many other options...
I spoke to Viewsonic and was told the only way to get playstore was to jailbreak the device and put on an alternate ROM...when I asked how to unlock the bootloader to do it they said they couldn't / wouldn't tell me :-( !!
When I talked to them years ago, they were very surprised that I unlocked and rooted my VSD231.
This is a very simple question, and i have tried scouring the internet for this answer, but to no avail, i havent found anything. Has anyone successfully unlocked the bootloader/rooted/and flash an american OS to the Vivo X Note? I've tried all the conventional ways to unlock the bootloader on this device and nothing works. It's so odd because vivo has OEM unlocking in the dev options, but nothing in ADB works with it and there isnt an OEM tool like Xiaomi's tool that can do it. Every command just does not work with this phone. I hope there is an answer out there cause i would love to be able to remove originOS and put funtouch or something American on it. Thanks!
have you tried below command from fastboot-
fastboot bbk vivo_bsp unlock_vivo

I know this was quite awhile ago but I can help if you're still interested. This is my current device and I have a pretty good handle on downgrading/rooting. I can also help you get back to the latest OTA. The key is to make sure you have a copy of the OTA.zip or at least the boot.img from that OTA version. I have all of these files backed up and can share them but could also walk you through the process so you're able to do it yourself. Let me know if interested. If there is a demand I may write up a guide. Happy to share any knowledge/data on an individual basis if not

If you're asking whether the bootloader can be automatically or inadvertently locked, the answer is no.
Unlocking and locking the bootloader are intended to be deliberate acts requiring specific commands. Once your bootloader is unlocked, the only way you can lock it is by using fastboot commands, the same way you unlocked it.
Keep in mind that if the software on your device is not absolutely 100% genuine OEM, locking the bootloader will most likely render the device unusable.

depending on your device, you do not need unlock service, use hardware testpoint (requires dissassembly the phone)
the software you can use is potatonv
I have a Nokia 6.1 2018 PL2 and I'm trying to unlock the bootloader using the "Nokia bootloader unlock tool" by "techmesto".
The problem is that the device serial number shows as "??????????? fastboot" when issuing the "fastboot devices" command , so when providing the OTP code for the tool and the tool begins flash I encounter this error "Error: Serial number is empty or invalid!". What could be the problem? any help would be appreciated .

Hi,
Why you use Nokia tool for Xiaomi/Poco device? That doesn't make any sense, it will lead to softbrick/hardbrick.
Please check my guides at POCO F1 Ultimate Collection & Guides. (Guides are on post #2 there).
Edit: Seems you confused the threads/devices. If you have poco f1 check my guide tho.
Because I have both phones at now, I messed up the thread at first and then corrected the confusion, my bad. The thread actually was about the Nokia phone not the Poco one, but anyway I'm gonna take a look at your guides , I'm sure they're gonna be of great help for me because I also have the Poco phone until I get a solution for my Nokia phone problem.
