Disable or remove Bluetooth from system - Moto Z Questions & Answers

The networking chip on my moto Z got fried and as a result I don't have any Bluetooth or wifi capabilities. My problem is that the phone for some reason checks for Bluetooth and as a result I get a constant spam of "Application Bluetooth has stopped working" which I can't stop. I've tried different roms and in none of them I can't seem to be able to disable the popup spam . Is there a way to disable or remove the Bluetooth part of the software. Either via adb or root or something?

[Q] Hardware controller / device manager?

Hi there,
I've done some searching and can't seem to find any app capable of disabling and enabling hardware in the android system. The Windows equivalent of this would be the device manager, in which I get a list of all the hardware the OS knows about and can disable or enable it at will. Now obviously the Android settings already allow us to turn on and off the Wifi, cell chip, NFC, GPS, etc., but we have no control over the camera or the microphone, for instance.
Plus, now that airlines are beginning to allow phone use, it might not be long before airplane mode disappears from devices.
Obviously such an app would require root permissions.
If anyone knows an app that can do this, or whether this is even possible, please do tell!

[Q] Disable auto-connect when enabling bluetooth

Hi,
I have many devices that connect via bluetooth to my Nexus 4 (4.4.2) and when I enable bluetooth i have to wait until it connects (and i disconnect) or fails to connect to the last connected device - which takes too much time.
Is there a way to disable auto-connect when enabling bluetooth? I would simply like to select a device after ive enabled it.
I searched here and elsewhere but could not find a soln.
Thanks in advance.

This issue is still ongoing.
My Phone is connecting to the HiFi when I turn on BT to receive a call with my headfset. It's really bothering. Bad Google nerds.
When you restart the phone and turn on BT, it is not auto connecting ... until you try to connect a device.
So I think the last conncetion attempt is stored somewhere temporaly and it is repeating on and on.
I can't believe that there is no fix for this bad issue available since years :-(
This sounds interesting about autoconnect.
But I am not a programmer :-(

[Q] Lollipop phone as trusted bluetooth

As I have my phone on me at all times thought I might be able to use it as a trusted device for the tablet? Supposedly lollipop supports android use as Bluetooth LE peripheral but I can't seem to get them to connect in a normal fashion?
I have this working with my LGG2 (running CM11). In order for it to work though, you have to pair the phone to the tablet, then share the phones internet connection. It doesn't seem to be a good solution, as the devices only connect when manually selecting "internet sharing" in the BT phone settings on the tablet.
I'm also trying to accomplish this. Anyone else have a solution for how to use you phone as a trusted device to unlock your lollipop tablet?
As long as I manually established an active Bluetooth connection (by using an app like Tablet Remote) it will stay unlocked, but how can we get a paired trusted phone to establish a connection to a tablet without some sort of manual intervention?
Thanks.

Bluetooth MAP Verizon LG G3 Help!

Hey all!
Is there a way to disable the bluetooth message access profile with a 3rd party app or can it be removed from the kernel? Reason being: I have a 2013 Ford Explorer and have issues with Message Access not remembering settings. So, every time the phone connects to the car, it notifies me of my old messages, which I do not want. I don't use this feature so would be fine if it was disabled completely. However, to do this, it would need to be disabled (turning message access off in settings doesn't work, as when the phone reconnects, it gives it access again). Any suggestions?
Thanks!

How to edit ROM so that it works on broken touch phone

Hi guys I have a lot of old phones sitting in drawer but all of them with one problem their touch digitizer is broken and the problem is I am not getting digitizer even if I am getting they are of more cost then the Phone itself.
While searching on the internet I went through numerous posts suggesting otg and adb mainly but the problem is these devices were of 2013 then otg was not so much in fashion.
I have a method but I don't know how to do it I found that I can flash ROMs using SPFlash Tool for mediatek chip devices
But I want to modify ROM in following way so that:-
#)No Phone setup screen (Google, WiFi,language,time)-phone should auto start with no google account and no WiFi
#)On every boot up Auto Bluetooth enabled and search for available device and connect to available bluetooth mouse(considering only my Bluetooth mouse is shown in list ) and do the pairing without any need of giving input
#) Auto enabled USB debugging and adb access to all computers without authorization
If these task could be accomplished we can reduce e-waste and use old phones
1)serve as media station
2)WiFi hotspot
3)display for raspberry via vnc
4)downloading torrents
5)webcam
6)security cam
7) music player
Please help this is link of one of the ROMs in zip https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BzZcfIgMbw3odC1nUU9iZ1NycW8/viewhttps://drive.google.com/file/d/0BzZcfIgMbw3odC1nUU9iZ1NycW8/view
