Question Flash firmware stock exynos need oem unlock? - Samsung Galaxy A52 5G

Hi, I've read a lot of conversations but I can't understand one thing.
If I want to flash a stock firmware of an Italian Exynos device, need to activate Oem Unlock or do I just have to activate Debug Usb?
If I activate Oem Unlock at startup, do I get the warning of the unlocked bootloader?
I just want to flash a stock firmware to immediately get the OneUi 4.1 can someone explain me the initial steps?
Thanks

Usually it don't need anything else to prior do but flash the right firmware with Odin . Be sure what kind of firmware you download suitable to your phone and carrier . Get a multi CSC firmware of your area or country and that's it . Even myself did that and now I'm receiving fast OTA . I'm on A52s .

E10a flashing custom rom while keeping 3G

Just got an E10a off eBay and PC Companion would only update it to 2.0.1.A.0.47. I think I need 2.1.1 and a specific baseband to flash CM, but I can't use a E10i 2.1.1 FTF or I will lose the 3G connection.
I just wanted to verify, from my reading here, that if I wanted to flash miniCM10 I should flash chavito's E10a rom with the appropriate baseband (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1294579) then unlock the bootloader and flash after that?

Yes, and make sure your phone isn't locked to a provider, the bootloader unlock may disable the entire radiochip (2G/3G). You can unlock the bootloader, boot into the ROM and see if you get signal, if you don't you have to lock the bootloader again.
(If you play with flashtool, DELETE the10blrelock.ftf from the flashtool/firmware folder, it will hardbrick your phone if flashed accidentally)
Thanks for the quick reply! Carrier unlocking is the other question I have. I've tried a couple of places to get the IMEI-based unlock code, but none of them can find it. So I'm thinking of getting a USB unlock from this place:
https://www.fastgsm.com/en/sonyericsson/xperia-x10-mini-e10i/unlock-network/flashing-debrand
It says that it will carrier unlock AND unlock the bootloader as well. So I should use that unlock service after I flash chavito's ROM but before I flash miniCM10?

I don't know if your phone is locked to a provider, or which one if it is. The site you refer to says it can only do it for a limited number of countries and providers, but it don't list which ones up front, so be careful with that. If sim-cards from different providers work on your phone, just skip that and unlock the bootloader using flashtool. But yes, you should first flash that latest firmware before you unlock the bootloader.

Vodafone UK Locked Bootloader?

I was wondering if the S6 on Vodafone in the UK came with a locked bootloader, and if so how difficult was it to unlock? I have an S7 Edge on pre-order, and presume that would come locked too if the S6 did. I can't live without root. Cheers.
No one has an S6 Edge on Vodafone?

Seems so, as I have had the same problem by installing MM 6.0.1 firmware with the UK csc code VOD (appearing as BTU on phone). The bootloader wouldn't let me flash TWRP through ODIN (sorry, could flash, but not boot into TWRP, stuck on bootloader).
So i took the provided MM 6.0.1. bootloader from Carotix CarHDRom, flashed it together with at the same place provided TWRP for
MM (the old 2.8.7.0/2.8.7.1 or even new TWRP 3.0 provided on the homepage of TWRP.me , won't work on MM) throught ODIN.
Within TWRP flashed hybridmax's S5E-AELKernel_MM...kernel 1.5 and superSU beta 2.67 (previosly stored/copied to the mobile device) and rebooted - rooted and all working fine.

Do not know if or not.
Just flashed first the original VOD 6.0.1 fw and then tried to have a working TWRP recovery, but could't boot into TWRP recover, the original bootloader did not let me... this for, bootloader and twrp from carotix (and eventually his provided kernel and/or rom) , and everything goes fine.

My understanding of a locked bootloader is that you can't flash anything that isn't official, including a replacement bootloader, which you indicate you did successfully. Otherwise Verizon Samsung customers would simply flash a new bootloader over their locked one. Ever TWRP wouldn't have flashed, it would have kicked out an error in Odin as you made the attempt because the bootloader wouldn't have allowed it. It sounds like your attempt at flashing it finished successfully, but just wouldn't boot into it. I'm wondering if this was caused by something other than the bootloader being locked.

All possible. However, sometimes we'll just have to give it a try, by using the information and software available. I do have to mention, that my mobile is/was provider-free (not locked to a specific provider). But even a locked mobile can be handeld to get
in free and unlocked. In such case, this should be done first and after that the upgrade to rooted MM and ROM, etc.
No worries, cheers for the reply. I'll wait until I receive it then simply return it and cancel the contract if it's locked.

I've not received my phone yet, but this doesn't look good. Were you able to disable the reactivation lock on your S6? Or, alternatively, like coco722, were you able to simply overwrite the bootloader? I'm not concerned with Knox or Vodafone's warranty, as long as I'm able to overcome the locked bootloader and root.

[Solved]Updating Modem Firmware (Radio)

Hello all, haven't been on this forum for awhile, Ha!
Anyways, my m8 wasn't receiving calls a couple years ago so I of course thought it was my ROM. I flashed several, and most calls didn't come through. I could make calls, just almost all didn't go through (very few did)
So, took it into the att store and the guy said the antenna was probably corroded. I don't think that's the case, as data worked fine and texting did as well. Just recently, it hit me to try and update the modem. I've searched and searched but couldn't find out how. Here's some info:
HBOOT: 3.19.0.0000
RADIO: [email protected]
Unlocked - S-ON
TWRP v3.2.1-0
Any help on updating modem would be great. I'm looking to get rid of my s7 edge (Locked bootloader can kiss it)
*Id like to do this without relocking my bootloader
"Corroded antenna" sounds like hogwash, and the store employee just making up crap, so he didn't have do anything (or didn't know what he was talking about).
Since you mention the AT&T store, I will assume you are using the AT&T network. Is so, I think (pretty sure) you have the problem described in the following thread, and the solution should work for you: https://forum.xda-developers.com/htc-one-m8/help/receive-calls-make-detailed-thread-t3146670
You may need an AT&T Tier 2 tech support to turn off HD Voice. Tier 1 tech support may not know what you are talking about - or may claim incorrectly that it can be done (this has been reported by others).

It does appear from your radio number, that it is on the older side (Lollipop). Therefore, it may not be a bad idea to update to Marshmallow firmware (the latest you will be able to get, since HTC doesn't support the device any longer).
You aren't going to see any major differences from updating the firmware (as mentioned, it's probably not the cause of your voice call problem). In fact, I was running MM custom ROMs on the M8 for a long time, with LP firmware; with no negative results observed. But it's typically recommended to have the most updated firmware for maximum compatibility with the current ROMs.
Unfortunately, you can't do this with an unlocked bootloader (since you are s-on). You unfortunately cannot flash firmware with an unlocked bootloader, on this device. For that matter (what you are asking originally) you can't flash the radio separately with s-on, at all. But you can flash the signed firmware (which includes radio) with a relocked bootloader.
You can flash the AT&T Marshmallow firmware using the following guide: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=67123738&postcount=7
No need to do the part "Install RUU" if you want to continue using a custom ROM (with HD Voice disabled on your ATT account). So the process would be something like:
1) Backup any data you want to keep, by method of your choice
2) Relock bootloader with command: fastboot oem lock
3) Flash firmware using guide linked above
4) Unlock bootloader again, using the old unlock bin code, or get a new one from HTCDev.com
5) Install TWRP again (flashing firmware replaces TWRP with stock recovery)
6) Flash the custom ROM of your choice again

Question POCO X3 GT (chopin) - How to change from GLOBAL firmware to INDONESIA stock firmware?

I have the GLOBAL version of POCO X3 GT (chopin) 8GB/256GB and its a good device but the Google Dialer is making the whole phone unusable becuase of its Call Recording.
1) It does not have Automatic recording for all calls
2) Even after manually recording calls it takes ages to search for recorded files as there is no way to access them.
I do not want to root my phone for security reasons however I came across some posts which mention that the INDONESION firmware has MI Dialer & Contacts instead of Google which is enough incentive to void my warranty and try to change firmwares.
It has been a couple of years since I last played with custom roms, bootloader, fastboot flashing, etc. So I would appreciate if you guys can help me with a few questions:
1) Bootloader unlocking: Whats the best method for Poco X3 GT
2) Method to flash different region stock firmware
3) Is it safe to re-lock the bootloader after the new region firmware is flashed? or do I need to leave the bootloader unlocked?
1. use the official xiaomi bootloader unlock tool
2. Easy, just download the region fastboot rom you want and extract them. Flash via MiFlash -- pay attention to tick clean all in the corner of the screen if you don't want your device to be bricked
3. don't relock, if you lock the bootloader on other region firmware, you will be bricked

Oddly enough, this was not my experience. I unlocked my bootloader, flashed the Indonesia version 13.0.5.0 fastboot image using MiFlash using the clean all option. Then after booting and setting up the phone, it offered the update for version 14.0.1.0. I let the phone complete the update. Once the update finished and the phone had booted up again I rebooted it to bootloader mode and ran the command fastboot oem lock. The phone went through a factory reset and then booted successfully to the new phone setup dialogue.
Also to mention that I did also experience problems with 5GHz WiFi with version 13.0.5.0 but these problems were resolved after the version 14.0.1.0 update.

Even after update to 14.0.1.0 my 5Ghz wifi did not work. After waiting months I have just flashed back to global 14.0.2.0.TKPMIXM firmware yet still 5Ghz wifi is not working. Can someone guide how to fix it? Have I messed up its baseband or something during flashing?
Still unlocked bootloader?
As a comparison, whenever I unlock the bootloader on my Nokia 7 Plus and flash a custom ROM, I am not able to use 5GHz WLAN. It only works after relocking the bootloader and flashing stock firmware.
I am not sure if this was the same with the X3 GT and I cannot test it anymore as my wife took the phone and I am now using a X4 GT.

You could easily just use Adb app control to disable what you don't want. But yes flashing unlocked firmware will result in no carrier bloat

From my thread. Just download unlocked firmware, extract it. You will have files BL..AP..CP..CSC..HONE_CSC. Download patched Odin to computer. On device activate developer options enable usb debugging. Put device in download mode. Open Odin on computer connect device. Odin will see device , it will show green top left if Odin. Pur BL file in BL spot..AP file in Ap spot. CP file in CP spot..Csc in Csc spot..click start.

You are talking about something totally different. Unlocked firmware is not bootloader unlocking or sim unlocking. All unlocked firmware means is its not carrier branded. You asked about unlocked firmware, not bootloader unlock

The difference is you need a token from Samsung to unlock the bootloader. Sim unlock is usually done after device is paid off and code is given by carrier. Your just talking about firmware. Firmware doesn't unlock the bootloader or sim unlock. If you want firmware without carrier bloat you are just wanting U1 firmware instead of U firmware. I don't know why so many people buy carrier locked devices then want unlocked firmware. Just buy unlocked device.

In some cases, domestic riding is limited to only devices sold by the carrier. As an example, I have T-Mobile USA. If I need to to on to US Cellular, I must have a device that was sold to me by T-Mobile or domestic roaming for US Cellular will not work. The issue specifically is with US Cellular not allowing the device to roam on to their network.

Adb app control is 1 click. You don't have to type in anything. It shows what's installed on device, you check box next to the app to disable or delete. Has restore function also
