Strings from miui english rom can be used with some modding
Any chinese guy here?
Qq launcher is an adorable infant in early stages, very nice layout and beautiful.
Technically no real options, I'm going to keep this and stay up to date.
Dx, this launcher has got the most beautiful transitions I've ever seen. Its semi fugly and could use a facelift. Not alot of options either too. More then Qq but not by much.
Didn't install Tescent because I already got MIUI installed and its not in English
When installing Qq, becareful of it. It has alot of demanding permissions including calling contacts and texting them without your approval. Along with Dilly dallying with your system tools. Just keep an eye on it.
Sent from my ADR6300 using XDA App
The permissions are something to be concerned about... Dxhome asked me to update from an external server and since I updated the data connection is continuously in use, other apps can't access the internet..
uninstalling for now

MIUIwiz still the best.
I'am already using Brigo's MIUIwiz version. Thing is, MIUIwiz is jerky @ 667 performance. I purposely test which lancher really fly at 667. And MIUIwiz does not, its still jerky no matter what preferences I select. But Tancent is really fast even @ 667. Tancent looks the best from the three. But its true they all feel suspicious. MIUIwiz, ported by our guys, safe, stable, complete package.
Hey i just noticed this! u guys having trouble with tancent? I' ve installed it perfectly and I dont see 'everythig' chinese, just 2 icons, a clock widget (although u tap on it and enter ur City name in English.) and folders named in chinese (which you can edit and name them in English) besides those two strange app icons i dont see anything written in chinese.

LOL it wont work at all
Reasons:
1: open the apk - you wont get a values folder without decompiling
2: the compiled xmls are binary xmls while the decompiled ones are normal (readable)
3: thats it!
Anyways thanks for replying

I meant copy them from the translated apk this one.
I was tinkering and editing an apk, and i managed to compile it and install it fine and it works and is suited to me. So i was wondering ( not too good with xmls ), is it possible to edit the manifest file to rename the apk so I can install multiple copies ( i.e. have the original unmodified one and the modified one at the same time ). I need this for testing purposes. Which lines do i need to edit exactly so the phone doesn't give me the "installing this application will replace the current..." warning, so I can multiple instances of it?
Hope I'm being clear on what exactly I need, any help is appreciated. Cheers
Edit : Just found a post from this guy on a simillar thread that i couldn't find using search
levenum said:
It is not a simple matter.
APKs are managed by package name, not by file name, but you can't simply change the package name in the manifest of a compiled APK.
Even assuming you manage to do it without messing up the file, which is not a simple task, there will still be code referring to the package name, so the app will crash.

So is this true ?
Yes it is, I've tried.

Moving to Q&A
Yeah. Even if you could modify the package name, there could be hardcoded references to this application's intents within the source, which could cause problems when you realise you'll have to also change all of the intent-filters as well.
Its probably more trouble than its worth, as you'll be spending most of your time working out bugs introduced by your editing the APK.
I know its not exactly what you're after but why not try to run the modified app in the emulator on ur computer?

Yeah, thought so myself. Used the emu for a while, but It's so damn slow, can't compare it to actual testing. Nvm, I've dropped the matter anyway. Thanks for the reply

Okay my bad
[XPOSED] BLUETOOTH TOOLKIT
Thanks to Bluetooth ToolKit you can receive any file via bluetooth, choose how to be notified when you receive a file, Materialize different parts forgotten by Google... All this in an adorable and sugary graphic! (now 2.0!)
All changes are on-the-go, and don't require reboots.
You need to make a small in-app purchase to unlock all the functions.
Some features:
Receive any file type through bluetooth, with total control. Even files without any extension!
Decide in what way you will be notified when there is an incoming file
Open the list of files after reception
Set the discovery timeout to infinite (only for old devices)
And more to come...
FAQ:
Which Android versions are supported?
Android 4.0 to 11 (12 to be tested but should work)
What is Xposed, EdXposed and LSPosed? Which one should I use?
I strongly suggest to use LSPosed if you can. It is very well made and directly tested by me, if you have an old device you can use the original XPosed. EdXposed should work too.
I beg you to accept my translation!
Sorry but I don't accept community translations anymore, anyway a big thanks to all the original translators that you can always find in the "info" section of the app
Available languages:
English
Italian
Screenshots:
You can find them on the store!
Notes:
The app is also available on the old XPosed repo and the new LSPosed one.
Starting with version 2.6 the old unlocker is deprecated and doesn't unlock the app anymore. But don't worry! You can apply for a free code here.

If you want ALL the files you can check the first checkbox, for more accuracy you can select what you want in the list.

Does it support 4.4.4? Because I installed it but it's not visible in drawer, yet it's present in installed apps.

What is the best way to export GPS tracks?
Device: Amazfit BIP
Format desired: GPX, KML or best NMEA
Do you mean GPX? Export from what device? What do you plan to do with it? You need to provide more info if you want an answer...
Amazfit BIP
GPX, KML or best NMEA
The only way to get data from BIP that I am aware of is a modded MiFit version that exports data to GPX or TCX files...

You can use either file type to be uploaded to Strava, however TCX is richer in content compared to GPX, ie. HR reading is available in TCX but not in GPX.
Why not use Notify&Fitness, there is a feature to auto upload to Strava without the need to export manually.

I don't know. Verge is different, much different.
On Pace you need to apply this patch for two or rather three types of display types.
I don't know how Verge works.
I could help you if you manage to deodex HuamiWatchFaces.odex.

You are the boss! Tested only on Verge for now and most of them are working as they should. :good::good::good:
There is a WF which has MMdd format, Classic12/watch_label_twentyfive, when screen is ON.
There are few/some WF which have MMdd format when screen is OFF and you move your wrist, but some others have ddMM format, Neon WF for example..
When screen is OFF there is no date.

I dont have the watch, therefore dont know where to look exactly.
There are three states. One is screen on, one screen off and last moving arm. All those have different type of display. Most of the watchfaces didnt had date code for screen off.
