You can use either file type to be uploaded to Strava, however TCX is richer in content compared to GPX, ie. HR reading is available in TCX but not in GPX.
Why not use Notify&Fitness, there is a feature to auto upload to Strava without the need to export manually.

Hi guys,
I have a Galaxy Note 3 an the app I'm looking to use is Adidas Micoach Multi sport. It's apparently incompatible but I've read comments online where it has worked when sideloading the apk. I've looked around for the apk file but can't find it, and the links I did find weren't the correct files.
If anyone could upload it for me I would really appreciate the help.
I think it's compatible with Galaxy S III and a few other devices.

My friend, I've downloaded the apk from Google Play to a Galaxy S4 and then shared it via BT with the App Manager tool of ES Explorer (no root needed) to my Note3. The app works perfect! I don't understand why adidas doesn't make it available for the Note3...

Hello, did you still have working "Adidad MiCoach Multi Sport"? If you have, can you please make titanium or helium backup and download it??
If you can, i will try to make offline app version, that can run without micoach account.

If you're talking about train&run offline app, yes i did. It worked fine.
If it is about multi-Sport app, I installed and tried to login in, but it keeps showing an "Unknown error" box message.

AFAIK its a yahoo server problem . . . assuming youve set the city to yours ?
First, have you been into factory settings and made sure you set the device up for your country settings?
Second iirc there is a way to change it in the apps or settings, but its tied to a manually set location, which in a vehicle is about as much use as a chocolate fire-guard, especially if you travel reasonably large distances.
What would be far more useful would be if it was possible to change it for one that could use network, gps, geo-location or whatever like plenty of apps can to match weather to your current location.

You set the weather by long pressing it, not in factory settings.

Look at 4pda.ru they have modded original weather app that works with GPS. So it is automaticaly tracking your location (no need to fix the city as in stock). Also modded app v2 enables to choose from several weather providers.

You have to register with 4pda and then links are working. There is no alternative download site. It's worth registering there as most of the work (Xposed modules, modded aps etc.) is published there first. And there is more info on modules and customizations as original devs are active there (newer seen booroondook or MVG-V70 here on XDA).

Ah yes these nasty Russians... They prorably don't want non-russian speaking folks to get into their secreets . No way to pass that Captch if you dont know russian (it is number written in text so you have to know to read it ).

Well, no luck for me
I have renamed the original apk and copy the file you gave to the system folder. Gave 644 permissions and deleted the data folder as indicated. Reboot unit but widget doesn't update and the app either. The app seems the same and I can't find any settings to change the source.
Don't know if I'm missing something...

I tried to change smartwatch's language trough the adb. Now it keeps crashing, can't access options. Error: "unfortunately launcher has stopped."
I guess i didn't have the last firmware, probably was the problem. i can't find a way to hardreset it or reinstall the firmware trough the adb. Can you help me to solve this? At this point i don't care about the language anymore, i just want to recover the watch...

An interesting experiment would be to get hold of an update zip. I guess you probably have firmware 1.3.0n on your watch. When you get an update, it would be nice if you could try to download the update.zip from the watch. I'm not 100% sure if that can be done easily via adb. Then we could try to see if the Chinese version accepts this update, too.
If yes, great. We're done. If not, then it will be difficult if not even impossible.

You can try to do a backup of the watch. Someone has made a small progress and is working on the source of the watch. He says a backup would help him. See here : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3526828

Well, it's not really very difficult, but it also depends if you have ever used adb before to access you android phone. If yes, then we could do this via a chat. If he has no experience with adb, we would first need to install adb on his PC.
My English version just arrived today (yet to confirm it is the English version... I'm guessing firmware version 1.3.0n will tell me?)
I could do a dump if someone could point me in the right direction on how to collect? I've used adb before but mainly for flashing, not the other way or using shell. I could read more about how but I'm lazy right now (very time poor this time of year )
adb is setup on my Win10 machine though. (sees devices and adb drivers are right)

Thanks for the offer, but it is no longer necessary. We got two (identical) copies of the English system rom. We now need to find the right way to flash this back to the Chinese version.

I am writing here because there aren't so much informations about this watch on xda or other forums. I am having a lot of problems connecting my watch to my phone...It is really strange because It was ok until some days ago, but now It seems like I can't connect them if between them there are more than 10 cm.
I used this watch correctly for about 10 days and now It seems like there so much problems and it is so sad...

This isn't present in all the Rom!
I think it's Miui feature, I found it in my daughter Mi3s but haven't on my Z3

Try to:
1. Add or delete international prefixes from your contact numbers (+33)
2. Delete any spaces between digits ("xxxxxxxxx" instead of "xxx xxx xxx")

Modded version breaks app signature, so Google login won't work. Changing accounts won't transfer old data, but you can continue to use the new account normally. If you have a BIP then I think it is the only free alternative, other (paid) apps offer an option to export data too. If you have Pace or Stratos you can extract the data directly from the watch and export it to GPX or TCX, see AmazeBackup.

In current recent mod version (3.5.0 Revolutions) i have added (after a complete remake of dialogs, multi-thread and other important changes) auto upload to Strava account.
I need help to share better my mod with people that do not use Telegram and need to extract their workouts. Can you help me on how to do it?
I thought about opening an account on AndroidFileHost and uploading the new versions of the mod there, but I see that you need to request permission to upload files there. Then to be informed of the changes and latest versions to users, would it be possible to open a thread in xda and go adding posts to this thread?

I`m trying to create my own watchface for Stratos 3. I pulled HuamiWatchfaces.apk from watches, convert it to jar, remove some classes (like google and android libs) from jar, and trying to create watchface. I got some troubles with Slpt watchface. the first was trouble with Util.checkWatchFaceLocked(this.mContext) and !Util.checkWatchFace(this.mContext) checks (Like there). Solve it by editing bytecode to avoid these checks. But now I have trouble with .com.huami.watch.watchface.slpt.sport.config.SportItemInfoWrapper.createWakeUpLockView(). This method use resources, but ofcourse resources.asrc are different. Any ideas how to make it work?
