I was trying to unlock the bootloader of my phone and when i type fastboot oem unlock it shows me three dots "..." for hours.
Device : Micromax q324 (it is a spreadtrum 7731 device)
PC OS : Windows 8 64 bit
You can't unlock all bootloader like that. Really that only works on nexus devices and a few others without the oem unlocking it. If I'm not mistaken you need something from the oem for that device.
then how do i unlock bootloader for my device????

You would be wrong. That oem has other devices that it unlocks bootloader for, so they will at least know what it is and will tell you if it can be unlocked or not.
Understand that not all devices get an unlock for the bootloader. They don't want to do it.
I will contact oem tommorrow
Thnx for the assistance
Hello all,
recently i bought from aliexpress redmi note 4x from a seller named Goldway, its a big reliable store.
when i typed in cmd "fastboot oem device-info" i saw the bootloader was unlocked.
i contacted the seller through messages and he said that in order to install global firmware they needed to unlock the bootloader.
I saw on the net information about official and unofficial unlock of the bootloader,
how can i know if my bootloader was unlocked officially or unofficially?
cuz i read some info about unlocking unofficially can cause a hard brick.
You should have asked the seller to not touch the device. But I guess that's not a problem, If there is an issue later with the device you can let it enter the warranty process.

I never heared of unlocking caused an hardbrick afterwards... such people du such misstakes. unlocking WILL delete ALL!!! your files but .. I dont think it schould brick it .. but IF the processes of unlock was interrupted it MAY hardbrick but unlocking is fast normally..
Guys why we dont have OEM unlocking option ?
does that mean we will never be able to unlock the bootloader?
Verizon never allowed bootloader unlocking.
Hi, I recently flashed the stock LG V30 US998 f variant rom through LGUP and even though the bootloader is clearly unlocked, the bootloader says I have to enable OEM unlocking. OEM Unlocking is greyed out in the settings and it will not let me use fastboot commands at all. I plan to sell this phone tonight and I can't seem to get OEM Unlocking turned on even though the bootloader is unlocked to use fastboot commands. Can someone direct me to some help, please? Thank you.
Hello there, I recently got a new phone for Christmas (Motorola E20) and recently I have been trying to root my phones but this one seems to be the hardest to do. I have tried to unlock the bootloader through many different ways and I've seen people use fastboot oem get_unlock_data to unlock it but this doesn't exist and also the fastboot oem unlock command doesn't exist also with the fastboot flashing commands it comes up with FAILED (remote: Not Implemet.). I'm starting to think this device is unrootable but as one finally shot I decided to come here and see if any of you can help me.
Hi @GizzyTalksTech
did you manage to make any changes?
I also need to root e20, but nothing comes out.
