I got same samsung clone i9190 sw problem. I faced same error on dragon , piranha and sp_flashtool. but one day I updated my pc to windows 8.1 x64 and then I let the pc install mtk preloder driver. And result is Positive. It connect with Pc withwout no error.
SO TRY WITH WINDOWS 8.1 PRO 64 BIT (FOR THIS MODEL ONLY)
But sad thing is that that time I could not find flash file for that phone. I returned that phone to customer.
But the funny thing is that particular this error comes only for this samsung clone mt6572 based phone.
I have a problem with loading the tablet. firmware without errors
Hello,
I have a T95N/T95X S905X P212 1GB/8GB Chinese box.
The newest stock firmware for it is "T95X Amlogic S905X 4K KODI 16.1 Preinstaled Android 6.0 TV BOX Firmware 20160921"
The "P212 MXQ Pro S905X T95X 1G Android TV Stripped" also work, and that's the one I'm currently using.
I've tried all LibreElec and CoreElec builds available for the S905X with all the DTB variants, putting them on the root of the stick and renaming to dtb.img as instructed, and they all have the same behavior: The boot logo (S905X logo) appears, then fades to black, then nothing.
I've left the box on for hours and nothing happens. The box doesn't connect itself to the network (Ethernet) so I can't ssh to it. I've tried to boot using 4 different SD cards and 5 different USB pendrives.
I did a cat /proc/device-tree/amlogic-dt-id to confirm which DTB the Android build was using and the result was:
gxl_p212_1g
But the corresponding dtb file from the repos doesn't work.
I dumped my dtb.img from the android firmware in the box using dd if=/dev/dtb | gzip > /storage/downloads/dtb.img.gz and tested the extracted dtb.img, and when I put it on the USB stick it freezes on the boot logo, it doesn't even fades to black.
I've tried splitting it, since it's a multi DTB. Using the individual ones I still get the frozen boot logo, doesn't even progress to the black screen like the others. I'm attaching the original dumped file and the split ones.
The latest ARMBian, "Armbian_5.37_S9xxx_Debian_stretch_3.14.29_icewm_20171226.img", works ok but it gives me a lot of emmc errors on boot. I'm attaching the DMESG log as well.
I've tried all the DTB's included on the ARMBian image on LibreELEC and Core but they all go the black screen route.
Thanks for the help!
our device is a ddr4 p212 and uses a different uboot file.. I think xtmod ex will work on it... im testing it now... I tried even the atvxperience 1gb ddr4 version and didnt work
I have Cherry V2 Pro Amlogic based device(red board CS_905w_tx_v1.2) I have figured out this is the fake copy of Tanix Tx3 mini, the board, the outer body, android version looks same as Tanix Tx3 mini, I need help to un-brick this device, I tried installing atvXperience through SDCard after completion of updating bar blue screen appears boot written on display of device I waited for some time and then remove the power cable after that is does not give any display only blue screen and red light on back of the device, I tried Amlogic USB Burning tool but after connecting and push start button it stops on 1% and give error, after that I tried many roms including TX mini one but no luck , Please suggest me solution to solve this problem. MEcool KII Pro s905d 2gb version Purchase in 2020
By mistake or lack of knowledge, I have flashed wrong rom, from then it is not booting on, only blue light is there, no desplay on screen, when powered on.
After that flashed different stock rom .img files from PC using USB, by pin shorting method.
USB tool shows flash is successful, but still there is no desplay, only blue light
Please suggest what can be done to get it working....

Hi dear friends,
thank you in advance for your help. I have a strange stuation (at least for me) with this box from Foyu x96 mini.As you can see in photo and also written on paper box , it has Amlogic S905W 4G 32G rom, but if i go inside Kodi for example in System it says it has Rockchip 3229... then also on recovery mode on boot mode it states "android recovery rockchip 322x ..... I've tried with Amlogic burning tool but it doesn't recognize the hub connection and it doesn't burn another rom for S905w. I've tried shortening nand pins..nothing
Have you got any suggestions to erase all and burn an Amlogic s905w Rom , considering there's an S905w cpu?? i don't think it's a false one! there's no Rockchip inside!
thank you
Isn'it strange? Any suggestions?
..seems i found the million dollar question.. the only post that puts in crisis all the forum...
ive seen amlogic devices recovery reporting as rockchip, its usally just a mismatched recovery, i would try and figure out mask rom mode for this board, see my video here for some info

Thank you for your kind answer, but i tried also with mask mode,it only sound but no connection. For me it's a fake chip, otherwise why with rockchip tool it normally connects? Also on kodi it's incredibly slow, and in system maximum resolution is 1280*720!! Absurd
Hi , I have exactly the same problem with a tv box x96 mini locked in the logo screen. If you find a way to recover, please post it.

I can't see if yours has amlogic s905w chip, anyway mine it's not locked, you can try with rockchip tool to burn image if you got Rockchip inside
yes I have a S905x chip, it doesn't look very good but I managed to take a picture.I tried with usb burninig tools but my box is not seen by the computer and I don't know how to use the nand method.
If your x96mini is not locked, you can help me with a stock firmware of your box, to try a rewrite of my box with the sd card method. Thanks anyway for the help. I have been looking for a solution to unlock the box for some time.

Sure, probably it is,but with librelec would be only kodi...
Hello, thank you for your help. If I install the firmware from the link you sent me, can I then write another firmware? If I find the original firmware.

Just to confirm if you have Rockchip inside, anyway LE is runned from SD card, nothing will be installed onto the box.
Ok thank you.
Hi, I tried LibreELEC but it doesn't work. I'm attaching the image with the received error, maybe you know what the problem is. Thanks

Did you create bootable media...

Yes I created a bootable sd card, with LibreELEC rk322x the box does not start, the LED remains off.
Well it look like you guys have a fake amlogic like me on the tag is 4GB RAM and 32GB flash store. All the inside chip has been marked like the real one but are fake. Main chip is RK3229 and the ram is just 1GB and 8GB flash. I successfully unbrick this **** using rkfactory tool and a rom for RK3229 chip. step to follow: 1. install rockcip drivers, 2. start factory tool, 3. load firmware in factory tool, 4. conect USB A - A cable to pc, 5. tooth pick in the AV port and pres the restore switch from inside, 6. connect USB A - A to the OTG USB port on the box the port is the one next to the tf card reader, 7, the hub is recognized by the pc and it be detected by the tool factory, 8. flash the firmware, enjoy.
